Abstract

Saat siswa baru memasuki jenjang pendidikan yang lebih tinggi belum semuanya memiliki keyakinan akan kemampuan dirinya untuk mengatur dan melakukan suatu tindakan. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efikasi diri pada siswa baru SMK. Efikasi diri merupakan hal yang penting untuk dimiliki setiap individu khususnya bagi siswa yang baru memasuki jenjang pendidikan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan. Peserta pelatihan ini adalah siswa baru salah satu Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan di Surabaya yang berjumlah 60 orang. Siswa baru tersebut terdiri dari siswa yang berasal dari 3 kompetensi keahlian yaitu akuntansi dan keuangan lembaga, otomatisasi dan tata kelola perkantoran serta multi media. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini adalah ceramah, game, dan brainstorming sesuai materi. Hasil dari adanya pelatihan ini adalah siswa baru SMK dapat memiliki pengetahuan tentang keyakinan atas kemampuan dirinya sehingga dapat mengatur dan melakukan tindakan untuk mencapai tujuan yang diharapkan.

Abstract

Guru memiliki peran penting dalam dunia pendidikan. Pentingnya peran guru maka perlu mendapat perhatian dalam hal kesejahteraan psikologis. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kesejahteraan psikologis guru ditinjau jenis kelamin dan status pernikahan. Metode penelitian ini termasuk ke dalam penelitian komparatif. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen yang berupa skala yaitu skala kesejahteraan psikologis yang disusun berdasarkan teori dari Ryff. Teknik pengambilan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan Convenience Sampling. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 120 orang guru sekolah swasta yang bekerja di satu Yayasan. Analisa statistik pada penelitian ini menggunakan anava 2 jalur. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, ditemukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan  pada tingkat kesejahteraan psikologis guru ditinjau dari jenis kelamin dan status pernikahan. Hasil analisis juga menemukan bahwa rerata skor kesejahteraan psikologi pada guru wanita yang menikah memiliki kesejahteraan psikologis yang tinggi dibandingkan guru pria dan guru yang belum menikah.

Abstract

To perform effectively, teachers must have a strong professional commitment. This quantitative and comparative study examines how gender and tenure can contribute to differences in professional commitment. Subjects who participated in this study amounted to 89 people consisting of 33 female teachers and 56 male teachers at Vocational High School in Surabaya and number of teachers who have tenure more than 10 years is 22 people, while 44 people with 1-2 tenure, 23 people with 3-10 tenure. Using SPSS 25.0 for Windows, two-way ANOVA revealed no statistically significant difference in professional commitment between male and female teachers (significance level 0.097 with p > 0.05). We also found that tenure had a statistically significant effect on professional commitment (significance level 0.013 with p < 0.05). This study shows that teachers with longer tenures exhibit greater levels of professional commitment.

Abstract

Study aims to determine the relationship between job autonomy and teacher career commitment in educational. This study used quantitative method and the study design is correlation study. The sampling technique used is accidental sampling to the population of teachers in an educational foundation with minimum a year work period. The participants of this study are 191 teachers from educational background. The data collection used job autonomy scale and teacher career commitment scale in a likert scale model and data analyzed using a statistical test of product moment correlation with SPSS program. The results of the study shown that there is a significant positive relationship between job autonomy and teacher career commitment. In other words, the higher the autonomy of the job for teacher, the higher their career commitment. Otherwise, the lower the teacher job autonomy, the lower the teacher’s career commitment too. This study shows that job autonomy and career commitment have a significant relationship that can interconnect by each other in term of professional career as teacher.

Abstract

This study aims to carry out an educational organizational diagnosis in junior high schools. The method used in this research is quantitative. Data collection was carried out by distributing the instrument to the subject. The instrument was compiled using an organizational diagnosis scale developed by the research team based on the Weisboard Concept. The subjects of this study were 40 teachers who worked in one of the junior high schools in Surabaya. Teachers who are the subject of research in this school have a minimum working period of one year—the data analysis techniques using descriptive statistics. The results of this study indicate that in junior high school, most aspects consisting of goals, structure, leadership, relationships, and helpful mechanisms are already in the high category. While the reward aspect needs to be improved further. Therefore, in the future, this school needs to improve a better reward system so that this school becomes better.

Abstract

Pemberdayaan psikologis sumber daya manusia sangat penting agar dalam kinerja suatu organisasi berjalan optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kepemimpinan transformasional dan pemberdayaan psikologis pada guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Subyek penelitian ini adalah guru-guru yang bekerja di salah satu sekolah menengah kejuruan swasta yang berjumlah 55 orang. Pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan skala kepemimpinan transformasional dan skala pemberdayaan psikologis. Teknik analisis data menggunakan korelasi product moment. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan  bahwa ada hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kepemimpinan transformasional dengan pemberdayaan psikologis.

Abstract

Objective: Job satisfaction is an essential factor that needs attention from leaders in educational institutions. If teachers in educational institutions have job satisfaction, this will impact their job performance. This study analyzes job satisfaction from demographic factors of age, gender, tenure, and marital status of vocational high school teachers in Surabaya. Method: This study used quantitative methods. This research was conducted in educational institutions, especially in vocational high schools. The subjects of this study used 160 vocational high school teachers in Surabaya. The sampling technique used convenience. The data analysis technique used an independent sample t-test. The results of this study indicate that there are differences in job satisfaction by demographic elements consisting of age, tenure, gender, and marital status. Results: The results of this study indicate that teachers who are more than 35 years of age have higher satisfaction, teachers who have more than five years of tenure have higher job satisfaction, female teachers have higher job satisfaction than male teachers, and married teachers have higher job satisfaction than unmarried teachers. Novelty: Previous research has studied the impact of job satisfaction, but to researchers' knowledge, more research is needed to study job satisfaction from demographic factors in vocational high school teachers. Therefore, this topic is interesting to study, considering that demographic factors are a point of view that is rarely used to study individual variables.

Abstract

Objective: Teachers have a crucial role in the context of education. Teacher productivity relates to the extent of teacher involvement in their work. This study aimed to determine the role of tenure in the relationship between job autonomy and work involvement of high school teachers. Method: This study uses quantitative research with cross-sectional methods. The subjects in this study amounted to 75 high school teachers in private schools. The research instrument uses two forms of scale, namely, the scale of job autonomy and the scale of work involvement. Data collection using SPSS process Moderation Model 1. Results: Results show the role of tenure moderation in job autonomy and work engagement. The correlation of positive research shows that the longer the working period, the more strengthening the relationship between job autonomy and work engagement. Novelty: This study shows the role of tenure as a moderator on the relationship between job autonomy and job engagement in high school teachers in private schools.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara employee engagement dengan organizational citizenship behavior pada anggota TNI AL di Koarmada II Surabaya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dan menggunakan teknik korelasi Jumlah responden yang berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 100 anggota TNI AL yang bertugas di Koarmada II Surabaya. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah skala likert. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa skala employee engagement dan skala organizational citizenship behavior. Data hasil penelitian ini kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji korelasi product moment dengan bantuan SPSS 24.0 for windows. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara employee engagement dengan organizational citizenship behavior pada anggota TNI AL di Koarmada II Surabaya yang dibuktikan dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.046 (p<0,05) dan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0.240. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data tersebut bermakna bahwa terdapat hubungan antara employee engagement dengan organizational citizenship behavior pada anggota TNI AL di Koarmada II Surabaya dan hubungan kedua variabel terbukti searah. Hubungan searah ini dapat dikatakan bahwa semakin tinggi organizational citizenship behavior pada anggota TNI AL, maka akan semakin tinggi pula employee engagement pada anggota TNI AL. Sebaliknya, jika employee engagement pada anggota TNI AL semakin rendah, maka akan semakin rendah juga organizational citizenship behavior pada anggota TNI AL. Kata Kunci : employee engagement, organizational citizenship behavior, TNI Angkatan Laut Abstract This study aims to determine the relationship between employee engagement and organizational citizenship behavior among members of the Navy in Koarmada II Surabaya. The method used in this research is quantitative method and using correlation techniques. The number of respondents who participated in this study were 100 members of the Indonesian Navy who served in Koarmada II Surabaya. The instrument used in this study was the Likert scale. The data collection technique used in this study was a scale of employee engagement and a scale of organizational citizenship behavior. The data from this research were analyzed using the product moment correlation test with the help of SPSS 24.0 for windows. The results of the analysis showed that there was a significant relationship between employee engagement and organizational citizenship behavior among Indonesian Navy members in Koarmada II Surabaya as evidenced by a significance value of 0.046 (p <0.05) and a correlation coefficient value of 0.240. Based on the results of the data analysis, it means that there is a relationship between employee engagement and organizational citizenship behavior among members of the Indonesian Navy in Koarmada II Surabaya and the relationship between the two variables is unidirectional. This unidirectional relationship can be said that the higher organizational citizenship behavior among members of the Navy, the higher employee engagement will be for members of the Navy. Conversely, if employee engagement among members of the Indonesian Navy gets lower, the organizational citizenship behavior will also be lower for members of the Navy. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara variabel perceived organizational support dengan variabel komitmen organisasi pada anggotaguru SMAN I Soko. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan menggunakan teknik korelasi, jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 68 guru yang bekerja di SMAN I Soko. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berupa skala perceived organizational support dan skala komitmen organisasi. Data hasil dari penelitian ini lalu dianalisis menggunakan uji korelasi product moment menggunakan bantuan SPSS 24.0 for windows. Hasil analisis menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antaraperceived organziational support dengan komitmen organisasi pada guru SMAN I Soko dibuktikan dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.014 (p<0,05) dan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0.395. Hasil korelasi variabel perceived organizational support dengan komitmen organisasi menunjukkan angka positif, sehingga hubungan dari variabel perceived organizational suppport dengan komitmen organisasi dapat dikatakan searah. Hubungan searah ini menunjukkan arti bahwa semakin tinggi tingkatperceived organizational support maka akan semakin tinggi komitmen pada organisasi yang dimiliki oleh para guru SMA, begitu pula sebaliknya apabila perceived organizational support semakin rendah maka akan semakin rendah pula komitmen organisasi yang dimiliki oleh para guru SMA. Kata Kunci : perceived organizational support, komitmen organisasi, Guru SMA Abstract The research conducted aims to determine the relationship between the variable perceived organizational support and the variable organizational commitment of the teachers of SMAN I Soko. This research uses quantitative methods and uses correlation techniques, the number of respondents in this research were 68 teachers who worked at SMAN I Soko. The instrument in this research used a questionnaire. Techniques collection data's that used in this research were a scale of perceived organizational support and a scale of organizational commitment. The data from this research were analyzed using the product moment correlation test using SPSS 24.0 for windows. The results of the analysis show that there is a significant relationship between perceived organizational support and organizational commitment to SMAN I Soko teachers as evidenced by a significance value of 0.014 (p <0.05) and a correlation coefficient value of 0.395. the results of the correlation of the variable perceived organizational support with organizational commitment show a positive number, so that the relationship of the variable perceived organizational support and organizational commitment can be said to be unidirectional. This unidirectional relationship shows that the higher the level of perceived organizational support, the higher the commitment to the organization owned by high school teachers, and vice versa if the perceived organizational support is lower, the lower it will bethe organizational commitment of high school teachers.
