Abstract

Work fatigue is an occupational health problem that can increase the risk of accidents and reduce productivity. Data shows that work accidents remain high, and some are caused by work fatigue. This study aims to determine the factors associated with work fatigue among employees at the Sabbangparu Community Health Center in Wajo Regency in 2024. This study used a quantitative, cross-sectional design. The study population comprised all 68 employees at the Sabbangparu Community Health Center, with a total sampling approach, yielding 68 respondents. Data analysis was performed using the chi-square test to determine the relationship between variables. The results showed that work shifts (p = 0.009), length of service (p = 0.030), and workload (p = 0.011) were related to work fatigue. Meanwhile, there was no relationship between work period (p = 0.443) and nutritional status (p = 0.387) with work fatigue. This study concludes that work shifts, length of service, and workload are associated with work fatigue, whereas work period and nutritional status are not. Therefore, it is recommended that the Community Health Center pay closer attention to workload scheduling and employee rest times to prevent excessive work fatigue.

Abstract

Penelitian menunjukkan anak (6-23 bulan) yang Stunting selain memilki tingkat IQ yang lebih rendah, mereka juga memiliki penilaian lebih rendah pada psikomotor. Kader posyandu dapat berperan dalam proses alih informasi dan keterampilan kesehatan kepada masyarakat.Kabupaten Maros merupakan salah satu Lokasi Fokus Intervensi Penurunan Stunting Terintegrasi Tahun 2021 dan Desa Pucak adalah salah satu desa pengabdian UMI. Tujuan PkM adalah meningkatkan pengetahuanKader posyandu tentang gizi seimbang dalam upaya pencegahan Stunting. Solusi yang ditawarkan adalah Peningkatan pengetahuan tentang Stunting dan gizi seimbang melalui metode ceramah dan pembagian Brosur. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan PkM yaitu ceramah dan pembagian Brosur. Pelaksanaan Kegiatan PkM ini dilakukan tiga sesi yaitu 1)Pengisian pre test oleh Kader, 2)Pemberian Materi yaitu Stunting, Gizi Seimbang pada Balita dan Resep MP-ASI 6-24 Bulan, 3)Pengisian Post test oleh Kader. Kesimpulan bahwa edukasi tentang gizi seimbang dalam rangka pencegahan Stunting menunjukkan bahwa terjadi perubahan pengetahuan Kader dengan Mean atau rata-rata nilai posttest 9,3846 di mana lebih besar dari pada nilai pretest yaitu 8,2308. Diharapkan Kader dapat mengimplementasikan informasi yang diperoleh pada saat pelatihan kepada ibu baduta sehingga dapat mencegah terjadinya Stunting pada anaknya.

Abstract

Background: This Study aimed to evaluate the effect of educational video interventions on improving pregnant women's knowledge regerding exclusive breastfeeding using two comparison groups. although digital learning media have become widely implemented in maternal health promotion, passive video delivery often limits comprehension and learning retention. intergrating interaction within digital education may enhance understanding by enabling clarification and strengthening information processing. A quasi- xperimental pretest-posttest design was conducted involving 34 pregnant women divided into two groups: an intervantion group receiving educational video with interactive discussion (n=17) and a comparison group receiving the same video without interaction (n=17). knowlegde was measured before and after the intervention and analyzed using the wilcoxon signed rank test and Mann- whitney U test. result showed that both groups experienced increases in posttest knowledge scores; however, improvement was greater in the interaction group. The Wilcoxon analysis demonstrated significant knowledge gains in the interactive group ( Z =-3.643 ; p = 0.000). Meanwhile, Mann-Whitney analysis indicated that the knowledge improvement between the two groups was significantly different, favoring the interaction approach. These findings demonstrate thet educational videos accompanied by interaction are more effective in improving maternal knowledge compared to passive video delivery. Strengthening interaction-based digital health education is recommended to support maternal and child health programs.

Abstract

Background: The discharge process for inpatients is a critical component of hospital service systems, impacting operational efficiency and service quality. Inefficiencies in this phase can lead to wasted time, reduced patient satisfaction, and workflow disruptions between service units. Objective: This study aims to identify and analyze forms of waste in the discharge process of inpatients at Wihdatul Ummah Medical Center using the Lean Thinking approach. Method: This study used a qualitative descriptive design with data collection techniques through observation, document study, and in-depth interviews with 11 informants, consisting of clinic directors, doctors in charge of patients (DPJP), ward heads, nurses, administrative staff, pharmacy staff, and patients' families. Results: It was found that the discharge process did not have a well-documented and socialized written SOP. This resulted in wasted time in the form of motion waste for BPJS patients (due to physical transfers between service units) and waiting waste for non-BPJS patients (due to delays in administrative processing and medication reconciliation). The root causes include weak inter-unit coordination, manual work processes, lack of integrated information systems, and insufficient education for patients and their families. Conclusion: The study recommends the appointment of Point of Service (POS) officers, the use of discharge preparation lists, strengthening patient education, implementing visual management, and developing and implementing discharge SOPs. These efforts are expected to reduce time wastage, speed up the discharge process, and improve service quality and patient satisfaction.
