Abstract

Inteligensia merupakan bekal potensi yang akan memudahkan dalam belajar dan menghasilkan prestasi belajar yang optimal. Namun taraf intelegensi bukan merupakan satu-satunya faktor yang menentukan keberhasilan seseorang, karena ada faktor lain yang mempengaruhi diantaranya adalah kecerdasan emosional (EQ). Pemain futsal harus memiliki tingkat emosi (EQ) yang baik dan memiliki tingkat intelektual (IQ) yang seimbang agar bisa membantu tim atau dirinya sendiri dalam keberhasilan di bidangnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat kecerdasaan intelektual (IQ) dan kecerdasaan emosional (EQ) dengan penampilan bermain futsal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan desain korelasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa baru UKM Futsal UPI. Sample penelitian berjumlah 23 orang diambil dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampling menggunakan purposive  sampling. Instrument yang digunakan adalah kuesioner untuk mengetahui tingkat kecerdasaan intelektual dan kecerdasaan emosional dan penampilan bermain futsal. Hasil analisa data dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut : 1) terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara IQ dengan penampilan bermain futsal, 2) terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara EQ dengan penampilan bermain futsal, dan 3) terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara IQ dan EQ dengan penampilan bermain futsal.Relationship between intellectual intelligence (IQ) and emotional intelligence (EQ) with futsal playing appearanceAbstractIntelligence is a potential provision that will facilitate learning and produce optimal learning achievement. But the level of intelligence is not the only factor that determines a person's success, because there are other factors that influence including emotional intelligence (EQ). A futsal player must have a good level of emotion (EQ) and have a balanced intellectual level (IQ) in order to help the team or himself in success in his field. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the level of intellectual intelligence (IQ) and emotional intelligence (EQ) with the performance of playing futsal. The research method used is quantitative descriptive method with correlation design. The population in this study was UPI Futsal UKM students. 23 student samples were taken by using a sampling technique using purposive sampling. The instrument used was a questionnaire to determine the level of intellectual intelligence and emotional intelligence and the appearance of playing futsal. The results of data analysis can be concluded as follows : 1) there is a significant relationship between IQ with the appearance of playing futsal, 2) there is a significant relationship between EQ with the appearance of playing futsal, dan 3) there is a significant relationship between IQ dan EQ with the appearance of playing futsal.

Abstract

Pengadil dalam pertandingan sepakbola yang dinamakan wasit/referee. Awalnya pengadil atau pengambil keputusan dilakukan oleh masing-masing kapten tim, kemudian peran ini di delegasikan kepada seorang umpire. Akhirnya, seorang yang dianggap netral dinamai referee (wasit) bertindak sebagai orang yang akan menyelesaikan permasalahan dalam pertandingan. Pengambilan keputusan harus berdasarkan pada fairplay, sportivitas, objektivitas, dan konsisten. Oleh karena itu peneliti ingin melakukan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tentang tingkat kepuasan wasit sepakbola dalam mengambil keputusan berdasarkan tingkat pendidikan. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu Deskriptif dan desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah causal comparative. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Wasit PSSI Kota Bandung yang memiliki Pendidikan SMA, S1, dan S2. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Purposive Sampling  Metode rendem menggunakan kriteria yang telah dipilih  pengambilan sampel secara sengaja sesuai dengan persyaratan sampel yang di perlukan. Instrument yang  digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan angket Soccer Referee Decision Satisfaction Scale (SRDSS) yang dikembangkan oleh Andrew et. al. (2006). Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data maka terdapat perbedaan antara tingkat kepuasan wasit sepakbola dalam mengambil keputusan berdasarkan tingkat pendidikan dengan hasil angket yaitu tingkat pendidikan S2 lebih puas dalam mengambil keputusan di bandingkan dengan S1 dan SMA. Maka tingkatan pendidikan wasit berpengaruh terhadap pengambilan keputusan semakin tinggi Pendidikan wasit maka semakian puas dalam mengambil keputusan. Football referee satisfaction level in making decisions based on education level AbstractThe judge in a soccer match called the referee / referee. Initially the court or decision maker is carried out by each team captain, then this role is delegated to an umpire. Finally, a person who is considered neutral is called a referee acting as the person who will solve the problem in the match. Decision making must be based on fair play, sportsmanship, objectivity, and consistency. Therefore the researcher wants to do this research to find out about the level of satisfaction of the football referee in making decisions based on their level of education. In this study using quantitative research while the method used in research is descriptive and the research design used in this study is causal comparative. The population in this study is PSSI Referee in Bandung City who has a high school, bachelor and master's education. The sampling technique used in this study is Purposive Sampling The rendem method uses criteria that have been chosen deliberately sampling in accordance with the required sample requirements. The instrument used in this study was a Soccer Referee Decision Satisfaction Scale (SRDSS) questionnaire developed by Andrew et. al. (2006). Based on the results of data processing, there is a difference between the level of satisfaction of football referees in making decisions based on the level of education with the results of the questionnaire, namely the education level of S2 is more satisfied in making decisions compared to S1 and SMA. Then the level of referee education influences the decision making the higher the referee education, the more satisfied in making decisions.

Abstract

Tujuan utama penelitian adalah mengemukakan hubungan antara konsep diri mahasiswa dengan kualitas interaksi sosial mahasiswa dalam perkuliahan Bola basket. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Prodi IKOR yang mengikuti perkuliahan Bola basket serta mempunyai latar belakang sebagai atlet bola basket. sedangkan sampelnya adalah sebanyak 30 mahasiswa, dan pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket, yang berisikan tentang konsep diri dan kualitas interaksi sosial. Penelitian ini dapat penulis simpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara konsep diri dengan kualitas interaksi sosial mahasiswa dalam perkuliahan bola basket; sebagian besar mahasiswa (atlet bola basket)menunjukkan konsep diri yang positif dan kualitas interaksi sosial yang tinggi. Akan tetapi, taraf hubungan antar variabel sedang dengan determinasi antar variabel cukup kecil. Terdapat faktor lain yang dapat mempengaruhi interaksi sosial selain konsep diri yang dimiliki mahasiswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan utama mengembangkan alat ukur baku kecerdasan emosi yang cocok untuk guru penjas SD. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif Pengembangan dengan teknik kuantitatif-kualitatif. Populasi sebanyak 500 orang guru penjas SD di Kota Cimahi dan Kota Sukabumi, dengan sampel sebanyak 100 orang diambil secara random. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Emotional intelligence secara konseptual merupakan karakter individu yang berhubungan dengan kebutuhan, dorongan, sekaligus kemampuan untuk mengenali, mengelola, dan mengekspresikan emosi diri dengan tepat, serta bagaimana mengenali emosi orang lain dan membina hubungan dengan orang lain. Kecerdasan emosi itu sendiri terbagi pada 13 dimensi., 2) Alat ukur tersebut dikembangkan berupa pilihan ganda dengan empat alternatif pilihan. Setiap pilihan menggambarkan preferensi atas setiap dimensi emotional intelligence dan antar pilihan itu bersifat ordinal dari mulai yang sangat menggambarkan sampai dengan tidak menggambarkan karakter yang diukur. Penentuan bobot skor untuk setiap pilihan ditentukan dengan menggunakan sucessive interval method., 3) Sebagian besar item yang dikembangkan memiliki tingkat keterbacaan tinggi dan memadai sebagai alat ukur kecerdasan emosi guru penjas SD terutama berdasarkan judgement pakar yang telah dilakukan., 4) Item yang terpilih menjadi 69 butir, sisanya sebanyak 31 butir dinyatakan tidak memadai (tidak valid). Item-item yang tidak terpilih tersebut adalah nomor 1, 3, 4, 11, 15, 16, 18, 19, 22, 26, 33, 35, 36, 41, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50, 51, 53, 55, 56, 64, 71, 90, 95, dan 99. Indeks reliabilitas item yang telah dinyatakan valid sebesar 0,950 dengan SEM sebesar 6,870. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa item-item tersebut memiliki keajegan yang handal.This study has the main objective of developing a measuring instrument for emotional intelligence that is suitable for elementary Physical Education teachers. The research method used was descriptive quantitative-qualitative technique development. The population was 500 elementary school physical education teachers in Cimahi City and Sukabumi City, with a sample of 100 people taken randomly. The results of this study indicate that: 1) Conceptual emotional intelligence is an individual character that is related to needs, as well as the ability to manage, express oneself appropriately, and how to manage other people's emotions and build relationships with others. Emotional intelligence itself is divided into 13 dimensions. 2) The measuring instrument was developed in the form of multiple choice with four alternative choices. Each choice describes a preference for each dimension of emotional intelligence and between choices are ordinal, ranging from very descriptive to not describing the character being measured. The weighting of the score for each choice is determined using the consecutive interval method., 3) Most of the items developed with a high and adequate level of readability as a measure of emotional intelligence for elementary school teachers based on expert assessments that have been carried out to 69 items, the remaining 31 items were declared inadequate (invalid). The items that are not selected are numbers 1, 3, 4, 11, 15, 16, 18, 19, 22, 26, 33, 35, 36, 41, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, 49 , 50, 51, 53, 55, 56, 64, 71, 90, 95, and 99. The item reliability index that has been declared valid is 0.950 with a SEM of 6,870. This shows that these items have a reliable consistency.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan metode 5-post drill menggunakan shooting strap terhadap peningkatan kemampuan 3-point shoot. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif mengunakan one group pretest-posttest design. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 17 orang siswa ekstrakurikuler basket SMA N 1 Kandanghaur yang diambil melalui teknik total sampling. Instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 3-point 5-post drill menggunakan shooting strap. Hasil menunjukan rata-rata nilai pretest 13,76  dan posttest 22,96 yang menunjukan terdapat peningkatan kemampuan 3-point shoot sebanyak 66,71% dan hasil analisis menggunakan uji paired sample t-test diperoleh taraf sig (2-tailed) 0,00 < 0,05 yang artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signfikan antara hasil pretest dan posttest. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa latihan metode 5-post drill menggunakan shooting strap memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan 3-point shoot siswa ekrakurikuler basket SMA N 1 Kandanghaur.

Abstract

Each coach has a distinctive leadership style, and each coach's leadership style has its advantages and disadvantages. Trainers have several leadership behaviors/actions in training. There are several coach-style behaviors, i.e., training/instruction, authoritarian, democracy, social support, and feedback. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between the coach's leadership style and male athletes’ motivation. This research method uses a descriptive correlation research design. The samples in this study were active student members of the men's futsal student activity unit of the Indonesian Education University. The data collection technique used a random sampling technique. The instruments used were The Leadership Scale for Sport (LSS) to measure the coach's leadership style and SMS (Social Motivation Scale) to measure male athletes’ motivation. This study was analyzed using parametric statistical analysis with the Pearson correlation test. The results of the data analysis Moreover, the authority leadership style attains a sig value (ρ) of 0.006 <0.05. Hence, H0 is rejected. It is assumed that the coach's leadership style has a significant relationship with the motivation of male athletes of the Futsal Student Activity Unit of the Indonesian Education University. Meanwhile, the sig. value (ρ) of democratic leadership style is 0.031 < 0.05. Thus, H0 is rejected. It means that the democratic coach's leadership style has a significant relationship with the motivation of male athletes of the Futsal Student Activity Unit of the Indonesian Education University. Moreover, the social support leadership style indicates a sig (ρ) value of 0.033 <0.05. Hence, H0 is rejected.indicate that there is a significant relationship between the coach's leadership style and male athletes’ motivation.  Keywords: Coach’s Leadership Style, Motivation

Abstract

Adopting a sedentary lifestyle can elevate the likelihood of developing non-communicable illnesses like obesity and cardiovascular issues. Employees often engage in prolonged sedentary behaviour due to spending over 6 hours gazing at computer screens. This research endeavours to investigate the potential impact of mixed-impact aerobics on Body Mass Index (BMI) as well as its ability to lessen sedentary behaviour. The study employed a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pre-test-post-test design. Sixty individuals were chosen through purposive sampling and split into two groups, but only the experimental group consisting of 30 individuals underwent a pretest-posttest treatment that lasted for 8 weeks with a frequency of 3 treatments per week. The findings of the study indicated a significant impact on the incidence of BMI, as well as a reduction in sedentary behaviour, as evidenced by the values (p=0.001 and 0.0065 <0.05). This study shows that mixed-impact aerobic exercise has a significant effect on BMI and decreases sedentary behaviour in employees.

Abstract

This study was aimed to examine the integration of life skills in sport training programs. Participants of this study were adolescent aged 14 -19 years, involving 22 adolescents (11 adolescents receiving the Life Skill program, 11 adolescents receiving regular exercise training without life skill programs). Sampling technique used in this study was the intact group technique. The method used was experimental method with a quasi-experiment model and pre-test post-test control group design. The instrument of this study was an instrument from Cronin and Allen (2017) containing eight life skills taught in a sports training program. The results of this study indicate that the sport program containing life skills in a structured and deliberate manner had an influence on the life skills of adolescent at Correctional Institution in Bandung City. The highest increase of life skill component in the integrated life skill group was leadership with the average development of 1.25. Meanwhile, the life skill component that had the highest increase in the non-integrated life skill group was the emotional skill with the average development of 0.70. In conclusion, the provision of sport programs integrated with life skills in a structured and deliberate manner is proven to be able to develop life skills and could improve the life skill of adolescent higher than sports programs that are not structured and intentionally integrated with life skills.

Abstract

Physical activity can improve health and reduce the risk of some diseases, and most importantly it can improve the quality of life of the elderly. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of physical activity and the type of physical activity carried out by the elderly daily in the elderly community in Bandung City. The method used is descriptive with a quantitative approach. This data collection technique used a purposive sampling technique, and the level of physical activity was measured using the International Physical Activity Questionnaire-Short Form (IPAQ-SF) questionnaire. The sample of this study was 40 people consisting of the Pasir Layung Elderly Community 20 people and the Setiabudhi Healthy Heart Community 20 people. The results of this study are that the majority of the elderly do physical activity every day, namely gymnastics as much as 75% and the majority of the elderly in this community have a high level of physical activity as much as 52%. It is proven that the elderly here have a high level of physical activity and have good physical activity.

Abstract

Athletes' success in achieving optimal performance is not solely dependent on physical and technical abilities but is also influenced by psychological factors such as motivation and mental toughness. This study aims to examine the relationship between motivation and mental toughness in relation to the performance of Taekwondo athletes in Bandung City. Using a correlational quantitative method with 36 respondents, the study employed the Sport Motivation Scale (SMS-28) and the Sport Mental Toughness Questionnaire (SMTQ). The analysis revealed that motivation has a significant positive relationship with athletic performance, with higher motivation increasing the likelihood of achieving optimal results. Mental toughness also contributes significantly to performance, although its impact is somewhat weaker than motivation. Motivation provides the primary drive for athletes to continue training, face challenges, and maintain consistency in competition. Mental toughness enables athletes to stay focused under pressure, manage stress, and recover from setbacks, thereby supporting optimal performance. The results indicate that a combination of strong motivation and high mental toughness is a key factor in athletes' success. Support from coaches, families, and mental strength programs is crucial for optimizing both of these factors. This study offers valuable insights into the psychological aspects affecting athlete performance and suggests the development of interventions based on motivation and mental toughness to enhance the performance of Taekwondo athletes
