Abstract

The type of this research is a quantitative with descriptive approach/ survey. Based on resultof the research, it know that the founding program in the ABS Club, BST, Indoraya, and Tunas Perkasa have run well. Whereas for Baker Club and Mutiara haven’t run well because both of club haven’t do tryout program. The management system in a BST club have goodmanagement because it have a good active organization.While, for the ABS club, Baker, Indoraya, Mutiara, and Tunas Perkasa haven’t run well because of personal managed. The program of exercise that be done of ABS club, Baker, BST, Indoraya and Tunas Perkasa haverun well. While for a Mutiara club haven’t run well and must add some exercise schedule.Facilities and Infrastructures of the ABS and BST club have a good because it facilitate by fitness center for supporting exercise program. Although, for Baker club, Indoraya, Mutiara,and Tunas Perkasa is still not enough and need some add some facilities. Funding in ABS and Baker club have good because it have sponsor however for BST club, Indoraya, Mutiara, andTunas Perkasa haven’t not good. The conclusion of the research is the founding management that running by badminton club in Wonosobo Regency in years 2015 not maximumenough.

Abstract

The study aims to produced development of Badminton Skills Test Instrumens for athletes in age groups of children, cub, teenager and youth. This study is a type of Research and Development (R & D). In this study, the steps which should be done are: (1) preliminary study, (2) planning (analysis), (3) initial draft design, (4) draft validation, (5) small-scale product test and revision, (6) big-scale product test and revision, (7) result. The product produced in this study are badminton skill test instrumens, there are: (1) short-serve, (2) long-serve, (3) forehand lob, (4) forehand smash, (5) forehand drop shot, and (6) footwork for athletes in age children, beginners, teenagers and cadets which can be equipped with the test norms. The result of validations from the expert of academic, trainers and practitioners (player) of badminton as a whole stated that ‘very good’ with average score 3,66. Conclusion in this study is that based on the result of the data and expert’s judgments, the development of badminton skill test instrumen product for children, beginners, teenagers and cadets are worthy of being used as a standard badminton test instrumens. The suggestion from the researcher is that the result of this development can be used as one of alternative test for the basic skills assessment technique of local badminton athletes.

Abstract

Currently, physical education learning is experiencing a dilemma caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, so teachers must be able to improvise and be creative in creating distance learning models so that learning can be adequately conveyed to students. The purpose of this study was to examine the creativity and strategies of physical education teachers in improving the quality of student learning outcomes to maintain the continuity of online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. Researchers used a descriptive qualitative approach with research subjects, namely Physical Education teachers and students of Wonosobo Public Senior High School 1. The data collection techniques used were in-depth interviews and documentation. The results showed that the form of physical education teacher strategies in improving the quality of online learning during the COVID-19 outbreak was by using the method of publishing the work of students. This method is proven effective and can increase students’ interest, motivation to learn, stimulate student discipline, and can make it easier for teachers to make assessments. The obstacle in this research is that not all students get the same facilities from their parents, both in terms of learning facilities and infrastructure at home

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to reveal the relationship between sex, age, body mass index and physical fitness with the level of active participation of the elderly in development. The research method used is descriptive correlational. Samples were taken from the sports association of the elderly who live in the Pasir Layung Village of Bandung City as many as 30 people. The results showed that there was a sex relationship to TPA with a percentage of 58.5% for male and 41.5% for female, the relationship between age and TPA with a Sig. 0.000 <Sig a with r = -0.637, the relationship between BMI and TPA is the Sig. 0,000 <Sig. a with a value of r = -0.826, and the relationship between physical fitness and TPA with the Sig. 0,000 <Sig. a with a value of r = 0.857. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between sex, age, body mass index and physical fitness with the level of active participation of the elderly in development.

Abstract

To determine how much the exercise program success rate, a valid and reliable test tool is needed. In this study, the researcher aims to develop a smash skill test model in badminton. The method in this study is a development research method with a sample size of 121 athletes. The steps taken in this research include (1) preliminary study (literature study and field study), (2) planning (conducting analysis), (3) initial draft design, (4) validation of the draft, (5) testing of group products minor and revisions, (6) large group trials and revisions, (7) final results. This study involved academicians and badminton practitioners with an “excellent” rating, which reached an average score of 3.66. This result research is a product of the development of a smash skill test model in badminton. This study concludes that the smash skill test’s resulting form is valid and reliable, with a validity score of 0.688 and reliability of 0.870.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the importance of teacher body language and gestures in virtual meetings during online Physical Education learning in Elementary School. This research is qualitative descriptive research conducting a literature study. The steps taken were article compilation, data reduction, data analysis, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The researchers made an instrument for article determination criteria based on the PICOT criteria (Population, Intervention, Comparison, Outcome, and Time). The results of the study show that online learning, where the learning process could be carried out through video conferencing, could not only enable participants to interact through audio but also through an indirect face-to-face meeting. Nonverbal communication, including facial expressions and gestures, provided clear information from the speaker. Facial expressions, eye contact, physical appearance, and other aspects help the speaker express messages or information clearly. Facial expressions were more effective than other non-verbal cue modes. This research concludes that the online Physical Education learning in Elementary School implemented through virtual meeting media requires body language and gestures. The teacher should use special tricks in delivering practical learning materials delivered through virtual meetings.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of public speaking skills in preparation for field experience practice programme especially prospective of Physical Education Sport & Health teachers. The field experience practices is the programme expecting to form the prospective teachers who have the competencies required to become professional Physical Education Sport & Health teachers. The method used is descriptive qualitative by conducting a study of earlier research literature with the criteria for selecting articles based on PICOT. PICOT criteria consist of population, intervention, comparison, outcome and time. The results of the study show that public speaking skills play an important role on implementation of field experience practice for mastering the class with vocals and manage the class from the opening of the lesson to the closing activity. In addition, public speaking skills are useful for other incidental activities at school. For example are leading a meeting, being an MC (master of ceremonies) at special events at school, art performances, sports championships, etc. This research concluded that the mastery of public speaking skills is very important as a prerequisite for field experience practice prospective of Physical Education Sport & Health teachers before being sent to practice school.

Abstract

Asupan gizi seorang atlet sangatlah berbeda dengan asupan gizi orang awam, sehingga diperlukan adanya pengetahuan mengenai dominasi energi untuk menyiapkan asupan gizi yang tepat bagi atlet. Tujuan pelatihan ini adalah untuk mencapai prestasi olahraga secara optimal, dengan terjaganya asupan Gizi bagi Atlit yang ada diwonosobo, serta peningkatan kinerja penyelenggara manajemen keolahraan KONI Kabupaten Wonosobo yang jelas, transparan dan legitimate, sehingga dapat berlansung secara efektif, efisien, transparan dan akuntabel. Metode pelatihan dilaksanakan secara luring dengan melibatkan pakar olahraga dan pelatih cabang olahraga. Hasil pelaksanaan pelatihan dilaksanakan pada Hari Sabtu Tanggal 23 Juli 2022, bertempat di Aula Dinas Disdikpora Kabupaten Wonosobo. Kegiatan diikuti oleh 46 peserta dari berbagai cabang olahraga dan narasumber pelatihan yang berjumlah 2 orang. Kegiatan pelatihan ini menghabiskan dana sebesar tujuh belas juta rupiah yang dikelola oleh panitia kegiatan. Kesimpulan dalam pelatihan ini berjalan dengan baik dan lancar, dan setiap peserta mendapatkan sertiifikat yang dapat digunakan di kemudian hari.

Abstract

Banyak warga masyarakat kurang menyadari betapa pentingnya upaya mencegah atau menjaga tubuh agar tidak terkena penyakit atau tidak terjadi penurunan kebugaran. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk memotivasi masyarakat agar semangat dan rutin berolahraga. Beberapa langkah yang diterapkan pada kegiatan ini, antara lain: pengukuran tekanan darah, pengukuran denyut nadi, pengukuran respirasi, pengukuran dan penghitungan indeks massa tubuh, dan program latihan yang dapat meningkatkan kebugaran jasmani. Kegiatan layanan dikuti oleh kurang lebih 35 orang yang terdiri atas anggota masyarakat di Kelurahan Pasirlayung, Kota Bandung, dan sekitarnya. Berdasarkan hasil penerapan di lapangan Pasirlayung, setiap peserta diberikan kartu yang dapat digunakan untuk pencatatan pengukuran, sehingga dapat menjadi dasar evaluasi terhadap pengingkatan kualitas kebugaran jasmani masing-masing peserta. Secara umum kegiatan layanan olahraga kebugaran dan implementasi penerapan kartu sehat dan bugar berjalan dengan baik dan lancar.
