Objective: To know the difference of salivary estriol level between patients with preterm birth and preterm pregnancy of 32-36 weeks and to determine the correlation between the level of estriol in saliva and the incidence of preterm delivery. Methods: This research was a cross-sectional studies of 80 patients in Dr. Hasan Sadikin Hospital and its networks. The subjects are 40 patients in labor and 40 patients in preterm pregnancy, that met the inclusion criterias during the period September 2011 to November 2011. We took the salivary sample and examine the level of estriol. The data were analyzed by Shapiro-Wilk and Mann Whitney test. The authors aim to discuss the role of the saxophone in the presentation of Toba Batak traditional music in the city of Medan. The development of traditional music ensembles using the saxophone instrument is very rapid. This is caused by the large number of songs used that are popular music. The use of the saxophone instrument is growing rapidly in wedding customs and death ceremonies in the traditional music of the Toba Batak community as a carrier of melodies and 'bunga-bunga'. Usually, at Toba Batak traditional wedding parties, the function of the saxophone can be varied. There is the main melody carrier, carrying a collection of notes that resemble variations (flowers) and harmony with the various instruments used in the ensemble. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method in which researchers conduct observations and unstructured interviews to obtain valid information. The research results show that the saxophone plays a role as power in the Toba Batak gondang ensemble for each song played. Especially when giving ulos to the bride and groom.

This community service activity aims to describe the role of maujana nagori in fostering harmonization of multiethnic community life in Nagori Pamatang Simalungun, Siantar District. In addition to these objectives, this activity is intended to provide a deep understanding to the community so that they can create a harmonious life, even though the community living in Nagori Pamatang Simalungun is pluralist in terms of ethnicity, religion, race, and between groups. In the implementation of this socialization activity, lecture and question and answer methods were used from the speakers to all community members who attended the socialization. To optimize the socialization activities, the resource persons first consulted with the Head of Nagori so that they could invite the community and set a time for socialization so that the activities could be carried out properly. The results of the socialization activities show that the public's understanding of the importance of the role of Maujana Nagori in realizing the integration and harmonization of pluralist ethnic life in Nagori Pamatang Simalungun, Siantar District is increasing. Besides that, they are also enthusiastic about participating in the socialization and are willing to carry out constructive activities to support development and harmony of life in the midst of a multi-ethnic society
