Abstract

Pendidikan adalah hal penting pada kehidupan manusia, sebab pendidikan akan membentuk cara berpikir hingga pada perilaku dari manusia itu sendiri. Pendidikan juga mempengaruhi karakter dan kepribadian seseorang manusia sehari-hari. Dengan pendidikan, seseorang akan menunjukkan pola kepribadiannya dalam menghadapi realitas kehidupan. Pendidikan bukan hanya menjadi tanggung jawab lembaga sekolah formal saja, melainkan tanggung jawab bersama, termasuk gereja. Gereja sebagai lembaga atau organisasi umat, secara umum dipahami hanya mengurusi urusan ibadah dan ritus keagamaan saja. Tentunya pandangan tersebut semakin mempersempit bidang pelayanan dari gereja itu sendiri. Pelayanan gereja tidak dibatasi pada ruang tertentu saja, melainkan harus menyentuh dan masuk kepada semua lini dan sektor kehidupan. Pendidikan juga bagian dari pelayanan gereja.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejarah penggunaan gootong dan bulang serta mengetahui apa makna dan fungsi penggunaannya pada masyarakat Simalungun. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian sejarah serta pendekatan antropologi budaya. Untuk memperoleh data yang dibutuhkan peneliti menggunnakan metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu awalnya gotong adalah penutup kepala laki-laki yang menggunakan hiou ragi panei, namun setelah raja Jawa memberikan hadiah kain batik sebagai simbol kerjasama dengan raja Simalungun sehingga kain batik digunakan  sebagai bahan dasar pembuatan gotong. Bulang dulunya digunakan kaum perempuan untuk seharihari. Pada masa kerajaan bulang terdiri dari bulang partongah (yang digunakan kaum bangsawan) dan bulang  paruma (yang digunakan masyarakat biasa) Gotong terdiri dari 4 jenis yaitu gotong horja, gotong pandihar, gotong tikkal/porsa dan gotong pottik sama dengan bulang yang terbagi menjadi bulang sulappei, bulang teget, bulang hurbu dan bulang gijang. Makna penggunaan gotong dan bulang yaitu sebagai identitas dan warisan budaya serta sebagai status sosial bagi masyarakat Simalungun. Fungsi penggunaan gotong dan bulang dapat dilihat berdasarkan waktu penggunaannya pada pernikahan gotong dan bulang berfungsi sebagai simbol kedewasaan, pada acara kematian berfungsi sebagai simbol ketulusan dan keikhlasan, pada acara patappei sihilap berfungsi untuk melambangkan bahwa seseorang itu akan menjadi seorang pemimpin dan pada saat siluah kehormatan gotong dan bulang berfungsi untuk melambangkan bahwa seseorang itu telah masuk ke wilayah Simalungun dan sebagai bentuk ucapan bahwa kita menerima mereka denngan hormat dan senang hati

Abstract

This research examines the implementation of the  P5 in learning PPKn insecondary schools, with a focus on the literature review related to Merdeka Curriculum. The purpose of this study is to identify the impact of P5 in strengthening Pancasila values as well as the challenges faced in its implementation. The results show that P5 contributes positively in instilling Pancasila values, such as gotong royong, togetherness, and social justice. Project-based learning allows students to apply Pancasila values in daily life through social projects involving the community. However, the study also identified some challenges, such as teachers' lack of understanding of P5 and limited resources in some schools. In addition, another factor that affects the effectiveness of P5 is the limited time and facilities available. Therefore, it is recommended to improve training for teachers to implement P5 more effectively and provide adequate resources to support project-based learning. P5 has great potential in strengthening character education in Indonesia, but its implementation needs more support from various parties to achieve optimal results.

Abstract

Subject Teacher Deliberation (MGMP) is a forum for meeting subject teachers in schools. This organization was formed as a forum for meeting subject teachers, but also as a means of friendship and as an organization that accommodates various teacher ideas and also as an accommodating means to various problems faced by teachers in their respective schools. This proves that the importance of the formation of MGMP in overcoming the problems faced by teachers in their respective education units. Through MGMP, it is hoped that teachers can maintain the quality of their performance in carrying out their duties as teachers in accordance with the needs of the community, especially in the world of work. Mgmp's participation in the process of improving teacher performance is necessary to make various breakthroughs that will build a quality education.The purpose of this study is to determine the role of MGMP in improving teacher competence. The results will be a guide in the teaching process so as to produce teachers who have good performance

Abstract

This study aims to examine the existence of the museum as a medium and source of learning for students, especially in junior high school. The author chose the museum as the object of study which is a medium and source of learning for students, namely because the museum has several functions such as: 1. Collection and safeguarding of natural and cultural heritage, 2. Documentation and scientific research, 3. Conservation and preservation and 4. Dissemination. and the distribution of knowledge to the public. Museums should provide various accesses for visitors so that they can have the opportunity to use facilities and services, research and study collections, including consultation with museum staff. The conclusion of this study is that the existence of museums in the world of education is so needed, including in learning Social Sciences at the Elementary School level to the Upper Advanced Level. In the museum they can observe the relics of the past directly. The learning process can also be carried out by visitors who are not from the education community. Visitors to the museum are also able to increase their mental and intellectual property to know the past of an ethnic or community group. In museums, collection research can also be done, which can provide opportunities to produce new findings. This research is useful to arouse students' interest in knowing the past through observations of historical objects. The results of the study show that museums can motivate students and make it easy for students in the social studies learning process. The research method used in this paper is a qualitative research method of literature study. With the qualitative method of literature study, the author first collects books from the library. Researchers also seek information about the museum by conducting a library study, namely making direct visits to the library. In addition to library studies, researchers also seek and collect sources by utilizing digital technology. From the results of the research and discussion it can be concluded that the use of the Huta Bolon Museum as a source and media for social studies learning for junior high school students in Samosir Regency has a pretty good impact and provides enthusiasm for students in participating in the learning process about historical objects. The Huta Bolon Museum which has various collections in the form of statues (Tunggal Panaluan, , Boras Pati, Pangulu Balang), Buku Lak-lak, war tools (Busur and piso), tools used at home (Panituan, Hurhuran , Gampil, Sondi, Piso Halasar, Sikkop), gambling game tools (Dadu Guling and Janggar-janggar etc). Utilization of the Museum Huta Bolon Museum as a source and media for learning social studies which is visual in nature in the form of a collection of museum objects is a source and media for learning history that is representative to add insight and knowledge about events in the past

Abstract

Evaluation is an important component in the education system. Evaluation of achievement is separate from the teaching and learning process; In addition, it is very important in the education and teaching system in educational institutions. Improvement and development of education can be identified by the evaluation results. Thus, through evaluation teachers will be able to identify how successful their teaching and learning process is planning and discover the level of program efficiency. Qualitative methods are used in this research. Observation, interview, and documentation of data collection techniques used. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that the teacher's ability to teach Civic Education evaluates the learning process in SMP Swasta Satria Mandiri, the teacher has carried out eight evaluation criteria in the teaching and learning process, namely: consistency between the teaching and learning process and the curriculum, implementation by the teacher, implementation by students, student motivation, liveliness, interaction, teacher's ability to teach, student achievement quality; However, the weakness caused by the teacher's lack of ability in planning and evaluating implementation in SMP Swasta  Satria Mandiri. The teacher's ability To Carry Out The Final Evaluation In Learning Citizenship Education at The Satria Mandiri Private Vocational School is quite good. Although in general the evaluation has been carried out well, some weaknesses were found. Suggestions for this research are that Civics teachers in SMP Swasta  Satria Mandiri need improvement in making good lesson plans, and teachers should record student improvements in the learning process in organized notes such as Discussion Assessment sheets, affective Assessment sheets for student objectivity scores.

Abstract

In the context of Indonesian education, challenges rooted in geographic diversity, demographic spread, and cultural plurality significantly influence the quality and accessibility of learning. The implementation of effective teaching models is crucial, especially in primary education, where student engagement and comprehension are essential. This study aims to explore the implementation of two contrasting instructional models picture and picture and the lecture method in IPAS (Social and Natural Sciences) learning for Phase C students at SDN 097349 Mayang during the 2024/2025 academic year. A qualitative descriptive research design with a case study approach was employed. Data were collected through observations and interviews involving two teachers and ten students, and were analyzed descriptively. The findings revealed that the Picture and Picture model, which incorporates visual media to enhance student comprehension and engagement, significantly improved participation and concept mastery among students. In contrast, the lecture method, though structured and time-efficient, resulted in lower student interaction and reduced learning outcomes. The results highlight that integrating visual-based and interactive methods into the learning process can enhance student motivation and understanding. The study recommends the synergistic application of both models to create a more adaptive and holistic instructional approach suited to the contextual needs of primary school students.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membantu peserta didik lebih efektif dalam mata pelajaran IPAS, dan untuk melakukan ini, peneliti menggunakan model Quantum Teaching. Penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif karena masalah yang diteliti berkaitan dengan data secara kuantitatif melalui fakta-fakta yang dibuktikan melalui angka-angka dan fakta-fakta yang terjadi di lapangan melalui observasi dan analisis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Experiment dengan Pre test-Post test Control Group Design. Metode Quasi Experimen didasarkan pada gagasan bahwa ketika peserta didik terlibat dalam penelitian, mereka merasa seperti sedang mengerjakan pekerjaan rumah seperti biasa. Hal ini membuat penelitian lebih otentik dan alami. Dengan situasi seperti ini, kemungkinan besar akan berkontribusi pada validitas penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Quantum Teaching berhasil meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPAS di SD Taman Asuhan. Keberhasilan kegiatan pembelajaran dibuktikan dengan adanya peningkatan nilai dari kegiatan tersebut yang menghasilkan hasil belajar yang lebih baik. Kelas eksperimen mengalami peningkatan nilai sebesar 73,4132%, sedangkan kelas kontrol mengalami peningkatan nilai sebesar 54,4820%. Menurut penelitian, model pembelajaran Quantum Teaching sangat efektif dalam membantu siswa belajar. Sebaliknya, kelompok kontrol yang tidak menggunakan model ini ternyata tidak sesukses itu.

Abstract

Kepercayan diri dapat diartikan sebagai suatu kepercayaan akan kemampuan sendiri yang menandai dan menyadari kemampuan yang dimiliki dapat dimanfaatkan secara tepat. Guru PKN sangat berperan dalam pembentukan karakter percaya diri peserta didik dalam menyampaikan pendapatnya dalam pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran guru PKN dalam membentuk kepercayaan diri (self confident) peserta didik di SMP Negeri 1 Pinangsori. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri atas Kepala sekolah, guru PKN dan peserta didik. Jenis penelitian ini kualitatif fenomenologi, teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa peran Guru PKN dalam membentuk kepercayaan diri (self convident) peserta didik di SMP Negeri 1 Pinangsori berjalan dengan sangat baik yaitu berperan sebagai sebagai demonstrator, pengelolah kelas, motivator, mediator, fasilitator, dan evaluator. Berkat peran dari guru PKN sehingga terbentuknya keterampilan komunikasi, ketegasan, penampilan diri, pengendalian perasaan, cinta diri, pemahaman diri, tujuan yang jelas, dan pemikiran yang positif peseta didik. Walaupun ada sebagian peserta didik yang belum mampu bersikap tegas karena takut salah dan lebih memilih mengikuti kemauan orang tua.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat (1) Pengorganisasian sumber daya kepengawasan dalam peningkatan profesionalisme guru IPS Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Tapian Dolok Kabupaten Simalungun (2) Pengembangan dalam peningkatan profesionalisme guru IPS Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Tapian Dolok Kabupaten Simalungun. Dengan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini (1) Pengorganisasian sumber daya kepengawasan dalam peningkatan profesionalisme guru IPS MI Dolok Kabupaten Simalungun berpacu pada fungsi manajemen adalah merencanakan sebuah program kerja secara konseptual meliputi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pengarahan, pengawasan. Dalam meningkatkan profesionalitas guru dalam hal ini pengawas Melihat konteks 4 kompetensi dasar yaitu kompetensi pedagogik, kepribadian, sosial dan professional (2) Pengembangan dalam peningkatan profesionalisme guru IPS MI Tapian Dolok Kabupaten Simalungun pengawas menerapkan Preservice education and training atau pembinaan ini secara formal, In service training atau pelatihan khusus dan On the job training pembinaan guru yang diprogramkan secara langsung oleh pimpinan lembaga.
