Abstract

The Cooperative Learning model of Think Pair Share type to improve learning outcomes and student engagement in learning mathematics at Dharma Mulya Christian High School Surabaya. The subjects of this study were 20 students consisting of 11 female students and 9 male students. This research uses the Kemmis and McTaggart method through 2 cycles. Initial data showed that none of the students' involvement was located at the High level, there was 1 student at the Moderate level, 12 students at the Low level and there were 7 students at the Very Low level. From the written test to determine the learning outcomes of 20 students, only 4 students scored above the KKM, there were 16 students who did not meet the KKM or 80% of students' scores did not meet the specified standards. The final results of Cycle 1 and Cycle 2 for student engagement there was no one in the Very Low category, there were 2 students in the Low category, the Moderate category increased, namely there were 15 students, and the High category had 3 students. Likewise, for student learning outcomes at the end of cycles 1 and 2, 17 students reached the KKM or the percentage reached 85%, so that the research has reached the success indicator. This study found that the application of Cooperative Learning type Think Pair Share can improve learning outcomes and student involvement in learning mathematics.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of service quality and service accessibility on customer loyalty, with customer satisfaction as a mediating variable. The research was conducted at RSUD dr. Chasbullah Abdulmadjid, Bekasi City, focusing on outpatients using clinical laboratory services with general or private payment schemes. Data were collected through structured questionnaires from 210 respondents selected using purposive sampling, based on criteria such as being at least 18 years old and having used the laboratory service at least once in the past year. The analytical method employed is Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) to assess both direct and indirect effects among variables. The results show that service quality significantly affects both customer satisfaction and loyalty, and customer satisfaction is confirmed to mediate the relationship between service quality and loyalty. Meanwhile, service accessibility has a significant direct effect on customer loyalty but does not significantly influence customer satisfaction, nor is it mediated through satisfaction. These findings highlight the dominant role of service quality in driving satisfaction and loyalty, while accessibility contributes to loyalty more directly. Hospitals and service providers are encouraged to prioritize service quality while maintaining adequate accessibility, adopting a comprehensive strategy to enhance the overall patient experience and foster sustainable customer loyalty.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to examine the influence of financial literacy, financial experience, and financial self-efficacy on consumption behavior with financial technology as a mediating variable in the millennial generation. Research Methodology: A quantitative approach was applied using purposive sampling of 200 active e-commerce users aged 29–44 years with prior FinTech experience. Data were collected through online questionnaires and analyzed using the WarpPLS structural equation modeling. Validity, reliability, and hypothesis testing were conducted using SmartPLS 3.0. Results: The findings show that financial literacy, financial experience, and financial self-efficacy each have a significant positive effect on consumption behavior. Financial self-efficacy had the strongest direct effect. Mediation testing revealed that FinTech significantly mediated the relationship between financial self-efficacy and consumption behavior, but did not significantly mediate financial literacy or financial experience. The model explains 77% of the variance in consumption behavior and 72% through fintech mediation. Conclusions: Millennials’ financial behavior is mainly driven by self-efficacy, with fintech enhancing this effect, while its role in mediating financial literacy and experience remains limited. Limitations: The study is restricted to millennials in Indonesia and e-commerce contexts, with cross-sectional data that limit causal inference Contribution: This study highlights financial self-efficacy as the main driver of responsible consumption in the fintech era and provides insights into designing programs that combine literacy, experience, and confidence building.
