Abstract

This study aims to analyze academic management strategies in private higher education institutions. This research method uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. While the data analysis of this research uses descriptive analysis with an interactive model. The results of this study indicate that the academic management system at tertiary institutions is the core of the implementation of higher education activities that regulate everything including the effectiveness of administration, information, service quality, and efficient use of resources. Management strategy is a process or series of decision-making activities that are fundamental and comprehensive, accompanied by determining how to carry it out, which is made by the leadership and implemented by all levels in an organization to achieve goals. In the implementation of Private Higher Education it is imperative that the quality of academic services be carried out in a directed, disciplined, total quality manner, and ensure the realization of the quality of higher education properly.

Abstract

The number of teaching methods or strategies becomes an indication that none of the best or most powerful teaching methods are to be used in the learning process. In the end all came back to the teacher himself. Therefore, educators must have insight, understanding, and mastering various teaching methods, so they can choose and be able to apply it in their best way. Hypnoteaching as a teaching method that is quite unique does require adjustment, especially its appearance that gives the impression of making the hypnoteaching method is considered less rational in the world of education, because that in this paper, will be discussed about the management of learning with hypnoteaching methods, concepts, history and strategy learning to enrich the insight of teachers' teaching skills amidst the rapid development and progress of science and technology.

Abstract

Specifically in educational activities many schools learning centers and tertiary institutions stand in a variety of forms and fields of science. In the last decade there has been a decline in the value of leadership, especially for adolescents, in this case high school-age children who, when examined more deeply, found disciplinary attitudes, apathy, lack of social sense, and deteriorating educational achievement. The effect of this is the decreasing level of HDI (Human Development Index) of NTB. Based on data releases from BPS, it turns out that since 2010 NTB has been ranked 29th out of 33 provinces in Indonesia. Unfortunately since 2013 it has dropped back to 30th out of 34 provinces in Indonesia (BAPPEDA NTB: 2020). Therefore, it is important to provide knowledge and leadership training early on to teenagers through a Workshop with the theme Personal Leadership For Student in the hope that this training provides insight into the importance of having a leadership spirit that is supported by high motivation and confidence. Besides that, basic leadership training for students can also become routine and permanent schedule in schools so that the knowledge of leadership is not only an insight but also a soft skill values that are embedded in the character of young people who will lead in the future

Abstract

Keberadaan Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) memiliki tempat yang sangat penting dalam menggerakkan ekonomi daerah. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberdayakan UMKM dalam calon wirausaha muda NTB dalam menjalankan usahanya, baik pada aspek pemasaran melalui digital marketing, pemberdayaan dan penguatan modal usaha serta pembinaan kepada calon wirausaha muda. Sehingga dengan adanya pengabdian ini dapat meningkatkan hasil penjualan sekaligus daya saing usaha serta menjaga keberlangsungan usaha. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah identifikasi persoalan, pelatihan dan pemberdayaa (pembinaan) yang berkesinambungan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah adanya fasilitas layanan pengurusan NIB, penguatan keterampialan marketing, terbentuknya jaringan dan kemitraan usaha serta pembinaan dari pemerintah provinsi NTB.

Abstract

AbastactCommunity Service is carried out as a form of concern for Higher Education in an effort to encourage young people and students to use social media wisely. Trying to invite all generations to be able to provide socialization about the dangers of hoaxes and to manage information that is healthy and rational. This community service was held due to the lack of public awareness and knowledge regarding Hoax News ahead of the 2024 election. The method of implementing this community service activity is by conducting socialization and stop hoax campaigns to youth and students in the City of Mataram, totaling 50 people. Socialization and discussion discussed the dangers of hoaxes in the digital era with social media which makes it easier for everyone to easily access current information. The method used in this service activity is to carry out socialization, discussion and dialogue as well as preparing follow-up activity plans to map out the next activities that can be carried out after participating in socialization activities. The result of this community service is that participants have awareness about the importance of anticipating the rise of hoax news which has a negative impact, then participants can re-socialize the dangers of hoaxes in the midst of society waiting for the 2024 election. AbstrakPengabdian Masyarakat ini dilaksanakan sebagai wujud dari kepedulian Pendidikan Tinggi dalam upaya mendorong genarasi muda dan mahasiswa dapat menggunakan media social dengan bijak. Berupaya mengajak semua generasi untuk mampu memberikan sosialisasi tentang bahayanya hoax serta mengelola informasi yang sehat dan rasional.  Pengabdian masyarakat ini diselenggarakan karena minimnya kesadaran dan pengetahuan masyarakat terkait Berita Hoax menjelang pemilu 2024.  Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini dengan melakukan sosialisasi dan kampanye stop hoax kepada pemuda dan mahasiswa di Kota Mataram yang berjumlah 50 orang. Sosialisasi dan diskusi membahas mengenai bahayanya hoax pada era digital dengan media sosial yang memudahkan setiap orang untuk dapat dengan mudah mengakses informasi saat ini. Metode yang digunakan pada kegtiatan pengabdian ini adalah dengan melakukan sosialisasi, diskusi dan dialog serta penyusunan rencana tindak lanjut kegiatan untuk memetakan kegiatan berikutnya yang dapat dilakukan setelah mengikuti kegiatan sosialisasi. Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat ini yakni peserta  memiliki  kesadaran  mengenai  pentingnya mengantisipasi maraknya  berita  hoax yang berdampak negative, kemudian peserta dapat mensosialisasikan kembali bahaya hoax ditengah-tengah masyarakat menelang pemilu 2024.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah mendorong transformasi signifikan dalam dunia pendidikan, khususnya dalam sistem administrasi sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis efisiensi layanan administrasi pendidikan berbasis teknologi informasi di SMA NW Kalijaga, Lombok Timur, sebagai representasi sekolah swasta yang adaptif terhadap digitalisasi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus tunggal. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi, serta dianalisis dengan model interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan sistem manajemen arsip elektronik dan tata persuratan digital berbasis e-mail mampu meningkatkan efisiensi kerja administrasi ketatausahaan. Di sisi lain, penggunaan sistem absensi berbasis QR-Code memberikan dampak positif terhadap ketepatan pencatatan kehadiran siswa secara real-time. Selain itu, integrasi Learning Management System (LMS) Moodle dalam administrasi kurikulum dan pembelajaran berhasil meningkatkan efektivitas manajemen ujian, distribusi materi, dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Efisiensi juga tampak pada penggunaan e-mail forwarding dalam pengelolaan persuratan resmi sekolah. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa teknologi informasi mampu mempercepat layanan, meningkatkan akurasi data, dan mengurangi beban administratif. Disarankan agar sekolah swasta lainnya mengadopsi teknologi serupa dengan dukungan pelatihan, infrastruktur yang memadai, serta regulasi internal yang mendorong integrasi sistem digital secara menyeluruh

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of experiential learning workshops in improving teachers' pedagogical competencies, particularly in terms of conceptual understanding, design skills, and PAKEM-based classroom management skills. This study uses an action research design with a mixed-method approach. There were 20 participants, all of whom were teachers at SDIT Banyumulek Lombok Barat. Data were collected through validated pre-tests and post-tests, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical tests (Paired Sample t-test), while qualitative data were analyzed thematically. The results showed a significant increase in all three competency indicators: (1) Conceptual understanding of classroom management increased from 45% to 90% (p < 0.001); (2) The ability to design interactive learning increased from 60% to 80% (p < 0.01); (3) Simulation skills in classroom management increased from 65% to 85% (p < 0.01). Thus, the learning workshop proved to be effective in holistically improving teachers' classroom management competencies. This study recommends a continuous teacher professional development program based on concrete experiences and supported by post-training mentoring to ensure the sustainability of the impact. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas experiential learning workshop dalam meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik guru, khususnya pada aspek pemahaman konseptual, kemampuan merancang, dan keterampilan praktik manajemen kelas berbasis PAKEM. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain action research dengan pendekatan mixed-method. Partisipan berjumlah 20 orang guru SDIT Banyumulek Lombok Barat. Data dikumpulkan melalui pre-test dan post-test yang divalidasi, wawancara semi-terstruktur, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data kuantitatif menggunakan uji statistik deskriptif dan inferensial (Paired Sample t-test), sedangkan data kualitatif dianalisis secara tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan pada ketiga indikator kompetensi: (1) Pemahaman konseptual manajemen kelas meningkat dari 45% menjadi 90% (p < 0.001); (2) Kemampuan merancang pembelajaran interaktif meningkat dari 60% menjadi 80% (p < 0.01); (3) Keterampilan simulasi pengelolaan kelas meningkat dari 65% menjadi 85% (p < 0.01). Dengan demikian learning workshop terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi manajemen kelas guru secara holistik. Studi ini merekomendasikan program pengembangan profesi guru yang berkelanjutan, berbasis pengalaman konkret, dan didukung pendampingan pasca-pelatihan untuk memastikan keberlanjutan dampak Kata kunci: Manajemen Kelas, PAKEM, Pengembangan Profesi Guru, Experiential Learning.
