Abstract

An investigation was conducted to analyze and compare the properties of bacterial cellulose (BC) films dried using microwave and air convection heating. Prior to the drying process, 90% of the water content inside the BC pellicles was removed through vacuum filtration. After that, the required drying time was only 3-5 min using microwave heating, 95% shorter than that observed for air convection heating. The properties of the BC sheets were characterized by Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), X-ray diffractometer (XRD), color difference meter, and tensile tester machine. The results showed that the structure of the BC films was the same for the BC films dried by microwave and air convection heating, i.e. cellulose I, as observed from FTIR spectra and XRD diagrams. Moreover, their color (L*, a*, and b* values) and mechanical properties were also almost identical. However, a slightly lower crystallinity and a higher swelling degree were observed for the BC film dried using microwave heating. These results suggest that microwave heating could be an alternative method of drying BC pellicles in order to shorten the processing time and reduce energy consumption when compared to air convection heating.

Abstract

A laboratory scale experiment to study the synthesizing and applicability of ultrafiltration membrane technology from nata de coco to eliminate the color of artificially water waste. The membrane used was cellulose acetate based membrane from nata de coco, composed by soaking of NaOH and acetic acid by concentration of 2% (CA-1) and 4% (CA-2). The Acetate celluloses resulting from acetylation have content of acetyl as much as 45.20 % (CA-1) and 44.80% (CA-2). FTIR’s analysis shows typical group absorption of carbonyl C=O in the number of wave 1755.2 cm-1 (CA-1) and 1752.25 cm-1 (CA-2) and group of Acetyl C-O in number wave of 1232 cm-1 – 1240 cm-1. The performance of Both type of membranes tested by pressure of 2 bar, 4 bar and 6 bar. The result shows, The fluks CA-1 with pure water’s 16,2420 L/m2.jam−32,2452 L/m2.hour and the fluks CA-2 with was 8,1210 L/m2.jam−24,1242 L/m2.hour. The cibacron red was used with artificially water waste concentration 50 ppm, 75 ppm, 100 ppm. The Test Result with artificially waste water, the fluks of the membrane CA-1 was 4,54 L/m2.jam−22,21 L/m2.jam and the permeability of 2,7553 L/m2.jam.bar−3,5657 L/m2.jam.bar with rejects 39,88%−63,89%. The fluks of the membrane CA-2 was 2,39 L/m2.jam −21,50 L/m2.jam and the permeability of 2,3118 L/m2.jam.bar−3,3269 L/m2.jam.bar with rejects 54,32%−90,68%   Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia:  Telah dilakukan percobaan skala laboratorium untuk mensintesis dan mengkaji kemampuan teknologi membran ultafiltrasi dari nata de coco dalam menyisihkan zat warna air limbah artifisial. Telah diperoleh membran selulosa asetat dari nata de coco dengan variasi konsentrasi perendam NaOH 2 % (CA-1), 4 % (CA-2). Selulosa asetat hasil asetilasi memiliki kadar asetil sebesar 45,20 % (CA-1) dan 44,80% (CA-2). Analisis FTIR menunjukkan serapan khas gugus C=O Karbonil pada bilangan gelombang 1755,2 cm-1 (CA-1) dan 1752,25 cm-1 (CA-2) serta gugus C-O Asetil pada bilangan gelombang 1232 cm-1 sampai 1240 cm-1. Kinerja kedua jenis membran diuji pada tekanan 2 bar, 4 bar dan 6 bar baik dengan air murni maupun air limbah artifisial. Dari hasil penelitian, nilai fluks air murni yang dihasilkan oleh membran CA-1 yaitu 16,2420 L/m2.jam−32,2452 L/m2.jam dengan nilai koefisien permeabilitas adalah 5,915 L/m2.jam.bar dan nilai fluks membran CA-2 8,1210 L/m2.jam −24,1242 L/m2.jam nilai koefisien permeabilitas adalah 3,945 L/m2.jam.bar. Air limbah artifisial mengandung zat warna cibacron red dengan konsentrasi 50 ppm, 75 ppm, 100 ppm. Kinerja membran CA-1 dengan nilai fluks yaitu 4,54 L/m2.jam−22,21 L/m2.jam dan nilai permeabilitas 2,7553 L/m2.jam.bar − 3,5657 L/m2.jam.bar serta nilai rejeksi 39,88%−63,89%. Membran CA-2 dengan nilai fluks 2,39 L/m2.jam −21,50 L/m2.jam dan nilai permeabilitas 2,3118 L/m2.jam.bar−3,3269 L/m2.jam.bar serta nilai rejeksi yaitu 54,32%−90,68 %

Abstract

Sastra adalah suatu bentuk dan hasil karya seni kreatif yang objeknya adalah manusia. Sastra merupakan kata serapan dari bahasa Sanskerta yaitu sastra yang berarti “teks yang mengandung intruksi” atau “pedoman”, dari katadasar sas yang berarti “intruksi” atau “ajaran”. Teks sastra juga tidak hanya teks yang berisikan tentang intruksi ajaran, dalam bahasa Indonesia kata ini biasa digunakan untuk merujuk kepada “Kesusastraan” atau sebuah jenistulisan yang memiliki arti atau keindahan tertentu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis jenis gaya bahasa pada lirik lagu dalam album For More Than a Feeling karya Jeremy Passion. Penelitian ini dalam menganalisis album menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik kepustakaan. Dalam menganalisis Penelitian ini menggunakan teori gaya bahasa yang dikemukakan oleh Gorys Keraf (2009) yang membagi gaya bahasa dalam 37 jenis, dan penulis mengambil 9 gaya bahasa di antaranya; eufemisme, pleonasme, erotesis, hiperbol, persamaan atau simile, metafora, personifikasi, sinkdoke, dan ironi. Hasil penelitian berupa Gaya Bahasa Metafora ditemukan sebanyak 12 kali penggunaan gaya bahasa dengan persentase 25%. Gaya bahasa Erotesis dan Personifikasi berada di urutan kedua gaya bahasa yang mendominasi yaitu ditemukan 8 kali penggunaan dan memiliki persentase 18%.

Abstract

Currently, the Tahfizhul Qur'an Amanatul Huda Islamic boarding school still carries out traditional da'wah, so that the da'wah that is carried out does not have a broad impact on society. Good preaching materials are only delivered to a handful of congregations. In carrying out da'wah, the Tahfizhul Qur'an Amanatul Huda Islamic Boarding School faces several challenges, one of which is technological challenges. In line with the very rapid advances in information and communication technology, social media has become a very influential tool in expanding the reach of preaching and religious education. In order to support this effort, there needs to be an effective socialization program. With this community service activity with the theme Socialization of the Ethics of Using Social Media and Security of Information Dissemination at the Tahfidzul Qur'an Amanatul Huda Islamic Boarding School, we will be able to carry out da'wah by utilizing social media by producing da'wah content that is right on target and can reach the community even wider.

Abstract

Sosialisasi penggunaan google family link digital parenting control di PKBM Tinta Ilmu BSD, Tangerang Selatan menandai sebuah langkah inovatif dalam menyelaraskan tradisi pendidikan dengan perkembangan teknologi. Perkembangan teknologi digital membawa dampak signifikan pada kehidupan anak-anak. Akses yang mudah terhadap perangkat digital berpotensi menimbulkan berbagai masalah, seperti kecanduan gadget dan paparan konten negatif. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi digital orang tua di PKBM Tinta Ilmu, Tangerang Selatan melalui pelatihan penggunaan fitur kontrol parental pada perangkat digital, khususnya Google Family Link. Pelatihan ini dapat membantu orang tua dalam memantau aktivitas online anak, membatasi waktu penggunaan gadget, serta memberikan perlindungan terhadap konten yang tidak sesuai. Dengan demikian, sosialisasi dan pelatihan ini dapat menciptakan lingkungan digital yang lebih aman dan kondusif bagi tumbuh kembang anak. Dengan pemanfaatan fitur-fitur yang ada pada Google Family Link, orang tua dapat lebih efektif dalam melindungi anak dari konten negatif dan menjaga keamanan anak saat beraktivitas di dunia maya.

Abstract

This study aims to determine several factors that cause difficulties experienced by Informatics Engineering Students at Pamulang University in studying the material in the Basic Physics course. The research method used in qualitative descriptive research where the data taken using interview techniques related to learning difficulties faced by students and the results of student tests from several basic physics lecture materials such as vector resultants with a percentage of students experiencing difficulties of 96.87%, particle motion dynamics 87.50%, conservative force 90.65%, waves 78.16%, and electricity mustsn 62.50%, where the data taken came from 1st semester students of the Informatics Engineering study program at Pamulang University. The results showed that students' learning difficulties in understanding the materials in the introductory physics course were caused by several factors, including weak mastery of basic mathematics, low understanding of physics material concepts, low learning motivation, less than optimal fighting spirit, and also lack of independent practice of basic physics questions outside of lecture assignments. Based on the results of the data, providing motivation and reinforcement of the material more intensively at each lecture meeting is a note to lecturers so that they can continue to increase interest, raise motivation and fighting spirit of students in understanding fundamental physics material and lecturers need to create strategies for lecture activities to be more interesting to students so that they can also improve learning outcomes optimally.

Abstract

The flipped classroom is an innovative learning approach for teaching English grammar in Understanding Structure courses. The lecturer may provide the students with a PowerPoint or video to watch at home. The grammar principles are then applied in class through discussion, practice, and peer evaluation. With this approach, students are encouraged to learn at their own speed and arrive at class ready for more in-depth discussion. This research approach is a literature review, which entails examining a range of sources, including pertinent research findings and reference books, in order to develop underlying hypotheses. The flipped classroom has been shown to improve students' motivation, foster active engagement, and improve their understanding of grammar principles. Its efficacy, however, depends on having top-notch materials and students taking ownership of completing assignments before class.

Abstract

The Digital Education Counseling for Families held at the Tinta Ilmu Community Learning Center (PKBM) in South Tangerang is an effort to implement digital security for parents and schools to support students’ learning in the digital era. Digital education has become a necessity and an innovative way to align educational traditions with technological developments. The development of digital technology has a significant impact on children’a lives. Esay access to digital devices has the potential to cause various problems, therefore, good guidance and communication between students, schools, and prents are essential. The lack of outreach provided by schools and the lack of initiative from parents to independently seek information regarding current digital education developments are weaknesses that must be addressed immediately to mitigate the negative impacts of the current digitaleducation system. This counseling is expected tohelp parents and teachers collaborate in monitoring learning activities involving the digital world, ensuring protection from unnecessary and potentially harmful content. This is expected to create a safer and more conducive digital education for students.

Abstract

Abstract-- In the context of rapid technological development, online games have become a global phenomenon dominating the leisure time of children and adolescents. These games, with their engaging and interactive designs, often become an essential part of their daily routines. While many acknowledge the entertainment and social potential of online games, their impact on children's learning motivation and academic achievement remains poorly understood. While quantitative studies have provided data on the relationship between online games and academic outcomes, qualitative methods offer a more in-depth perspective on children's subjective experiences in this context. Qualitative methods, through techniques such as in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, and observation, allow researchers to explore the nuances and complexities of children's experiences with online games. This study aims to explore how online games affect their learning motivation, how they balance their time between gaming and study, and how their perceptions of education may be affected by gaming engagement. With this approach, it is hoped that various factors influencing the relationship between online games and academic achievement can be identified, such as the type of game played, the duration of play, and the social context in which the play occurs.
