Abstract

The library is a gate of science and a heart of civilization. Indonesia already has a Perpustakaan Nasional consisted of 27 floors and is equipped with facilities that are adequate for user needs. Apart from that, we need to see opinions from the community as users. Public opinion about the library is critical for library managers to evaluate services and facilities from the library. One way to find out the views of the community is by using social media twitter. Twitter social media is often used in channelling opinions or expressing opinions about specific topics; besides social media, twitter is commonly used for digital campaign movements. Submission of views and even digital campaigns on Twitter social media greatly influence the opinions and even behaviour of society in various ways. This study analyzes tweets about national libraries by classifying, positive opinions, negative opinions and neutral opinions. In this study, twitter data will go through the preprocessing, weighting, and classification stages. TF-IDF and TF binary are used in weighting in this study. The classification used in this study is Naive Bayes and KNN. Accuracy, precision, and recall values were also used in this study to evaluate classification performance. The highest classification performance using KNN classification with TF-IDF weighting resulted in the value of accuracy, precision, and recall of 83.33%, 79.2%, and 83.3% respectively.

Abstract

Dalam beberapa tahun kebelakang ini penggunaan sistem informasi sangat dibutuhkan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi kegiatan di perpustakaan. Penerapan Sistem informasi di perpustakaan dianggap mempengaruhi layanan perpustakaan terhadap pengguna. Dalam penelitian ini fokus pembahasannya adalah untuk memperdalam variable-variabel yang ada di dalam teori kepuasan pengguna sistem informasi yang dikemukaan oleh Delone Mclean. Proses pengambilan data menggunakan sampel yaitu Pegawai SMK Negeri 5 Kota Malang sejumlah 106 orang yang didasarkan pada perhitungan menggunakan rumus Slovin. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara Kualitas Informasi, Kualitas Sistem dan Kualitas Layanan terhadap Kepuasan Pengguna. Kualitas Layanan merupakan variabel paling dominan dalam mempengaruhi kepuasan pengguna.

Abstract

College library is required to improve the quality and quantity of their services. One of the efforts made by IAIN Kediri Library is the existence of E-Theses IAIN Kediri. E-Theses IAIN Kediri is expected to give easiness for IAIN Kediri student to access scientific work of civitas academica. However, students still find it difficult. Therefore usability evaluation on E-Theses IAIN Kediri is necessary to fix the problem. In this study the method used is the USE Questionnaire where has 4 variables, i.e. usefulness, ease of use, ease of learning, and satisfaction. The purpose of this study is to find the results of usability evaluation on E-Theses IAIN Kediri and the repair result. After usability evaluation, improvement suggestions are given matching the repair result. In this study, the results of usability evaluation on E-Theses IAIN Kediri for the usefulness variable obtained value of 3,76, ease of use variable obtained value of 3,50, ease of learning variable obtained value of 3,61, and satisfaction variable obtained value of 3,60. Based on the results of task scenario and addition questions, there is a problem like can't find scientific work as the wish, not have a user guide, confusing user interface, and feature not working properly. Therefore, improvement suggestions are given about repair the user interface, adding a complaint feature, information about user guide, user education, and improvement suggestion about library policyKeywords: USE questionnaire, Usability evaluation, E-Theses IAIN Kediri

Abstract

This research article discusses the evaluation of the e-thesis information system in the Library and Information Science program at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. The background of this research is that the system is relatively new and is supported by several preliminary surveys conducted among users, most of whom are unfamiliar with the use of this e-thesis application system. The research population was taken from all students of the Library and Information Science Department in the 2018 and 2019 academic years, with a research sample of 50 students. The honeycomb method was used as the analysis tool for the evaluation, which emphasizes how UX can go beyond just usability aspects for users. The assessment aspects in the honeycomb method include useful, usable, desirable, findable, accessible, credible, and valuable. The research results showed that the overall average value of the e-thesis information system was 4.10, indicating that the e-thesis system is considered good in terms of its use. The highest score of 4.23 was found in the useful aspect, indicating that students agreed that the e-thesis information system could solve user problems and meet their needs. The lowest score of 3.93 was found in the accessible aspect, which needs improvement for future development of the information system. Indicators that need attention for improvement include less appealing design and the need to enhance capabilities. Suggested improvements include visual design, an advance search button, display of two thesis advisors, UI refresh, minimizing errors, and detailed schedule display on the homepage. Improving the existing features according to the research conducted can have a wide impact on the use of the information system and can be used continuously without errors.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi semakin meningkat seiring perkembangan globalisasi. Fenomena tersebut menuntut lembaga perpustakaan untuk dapat merespon dengan mengikuti dan menerapkan kemajuan teknologi. Memanfaatkan media sosial untuk menyampaikan informasi menjadi salah satu upaya yang dilakukan perpustakaan UNISMA. Perpustakaan UNISMA memiliki Facebook dan Intagram sebagai media untuk menyampaikan informasi. Namun, masih terdapat beberapa user yang tidak menerima informasi terkait dengan perpustakaan. Penelitian ini berupaya untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media sosial Facebook dan Instagram terhadap penyebaran informasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan kausalitas asosiatif kuantitatif dengan opulasi adalah user perpustakaan UNISMA sebanyak 15.797 orang dengan sampel 100 orang. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjuukan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,001 dan lebih kecil dari 0,1. Nilai uji koefisien korelasi antara variabel x dan y adalah 0,587 yang berarti sedang/cukup kuat dan hasil uji kepastian adalah 0,345. Berdasarkan tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media sosial Facebook Instagram berdampak pada penyebaran informasi antar pengguna. Mengacu hasil uji koefisien determinasi dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media sosial Facebook dan Instagram memiliki pengaruh sebesar 34,5% terhadap penyebaran informasi antar user. Sisanya, sebesar 65,5% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain diluar dari penelitian ini.

Abstract

The outreach activity focuses on improving energy efficiency at Sirothol Mustaqim Mosque in Pasuruan Regency. The primary issue addressed is how to meet the lighting needs of the mosque while minimizing the use of PLN electricity and optimizing the use of lamps and electricity based on the number of congregants. The main objective is to implement renewable energy through solar panels to replace conventional electricity, analyze the efficiency of electricity usage based on lighting requirements, and enhance electricity efficiency based on time and lamp location. Expected outcomes include increased electricity usage efficiency, reduced operational costs for mosque management, and advanced scientific and technological knowledge in the general community. The participatory action research (PAR) method emphasizes active participation and collaboration between academics and the community. The project commences with a field survey to identify energy needs and the potential for solar energy sources on-site. Subsequently, project planning and design are carried out, followed by project implementation with training for mosque administrators. The results of the project's implementation include energy usage efficiency, the integration of renewable energy in a religious context, and contributions to understanding environmental responsibilities. The success of the implementation measure calculations for the usage time of 40-watt lamps using solar energy are provided, along with a comparison of PLN electricity costs and solar energy usage costs. The analyses demonstrate favorable energy efficiency using solar power.

Abstract

Pemilihan umum merupakan agenda lima tahunan bagi masyarakat Indonesia. Pada masa pencalonan ini para calon presiden dan wakil presiden melakukan kampanye secara konvensional maupun modern. Kampanye secara modern dilakukan pada media sosial salah satunya twitter. Salah satu hasil kampanye tersebut akhirnya akan membentuk opini publik tentang popularitas calon presiden dan wakil presiden yang berasal dari media sosial twitter juga. Data yang tidak terstruktur dan tingginya dimensi menjadi tantangan dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini dimulai dengan studi literatur, identifikasi permasalahan, pengumpulan data berupa scrapping pada twitter, pengolahan dan analisis data, serta langkah terakhir penarikan kesimpulan. Data yang diperoleh sebanyak sebanyak 2298 tweet, yang dibagi menjadi 80% data latih dan 20% data uji. Pada tahapan pengolahan data penelitian ini menggunakan klasifikasi Naïve Bayes untuk membentuk model klasifikasi, berdasarkan model tersebut diperoleh nilai akurasi 83%, presisi 84%, dan recall 83%.

Abstract

Klasifikasi nada bacaan Al-Qur’an sangat penting untuk mendukung pembelajaran tajwid, tartil, serta tilawah yang sesuai dengan aturan. Tantangan utama dalam klasifikasi ini terletak pada keberagaman gaya bacaan qari dan kemiripan akustik antar maqam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model klasifikasi otomatis irama bacaan Al-Qur’an menggunakan pendekatan berbasis CNN dengan 8 kelas maqam bacaan. Model CNN dalam penelitian ini memiliki tiga jalur konvolusi dengan ukuran kernel berbeda. Variasi bentuk masukan berupa data audio yang diubah ke dalam representasi spektrogram dan mel-frequency cepstral coefficients (MFCC). Evaluasi kinerja model pada dataset bacaan Al-Qur’an yang terdiri dari 8 kelas tilawah yaitu Ajam, Bayat, Hijaz, Kurd, Nahawand, Rast, Saba, dan Seka. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa metode yang diusulkan mencapai akurasi 92,6%, sedangkan pada proses pengujian didapatkan akurasi sebesar 82,04%. Hasil confusion matric didapatkan nilai akurasi yang diperoleh dalam proses validasi mencapai 80,88%. Nilai presisi, recall dan F1-score masing-masing adalah 0,82, 0,80, dan 0,81. Dengan hasil ini, pendekatan CNN yang diusulkan terbukti efektif untuk mendukung otomatisasi dan peningkatan akurasi dalam klasifikasi nada bacaan Al-Qur’an.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi telah menciptakan perubahan mendasar dalam paradigma pembelajaran, khususnya dalam dunia pendidikan. Learning resources, terutama yang berbasis teknologi, memiliki peran krusial dalam mendukung sistem pembelajaran. Artikel ini membahas konsep learning resources, dengan penekanan pada penerapan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi di perpustakaan sebagai pusat sumber belajar. Implementasi sistem otomasi perpustakaan, seperti INLISLite versi 3, dianggap sebagai solusi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas pengelolaan perpustakaan. Studi kasus dilakukan dengan mengadopsi INLISLite versi 3 sebagai sistem otomasi perpustakaan. Metode pelatihan klasikal digunakan, dengan fokus pada pengembangan keterampilan staf pengelola perpustakaan sekolah. Kegiatan pelatihan mencakup pengenalan, instalasi, administrasi, pengelolaan bahan pustaka, pengaturan pengelolaan anggota, transaksi, dan layanan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan penerimaan terhadap sistem informasi setelah pelatihan.Studi ini memberikan kontribusi pada pemahaman implementasi teknologi informasi dalam konteks perpustakaan sebagai pusat sumber belajar. Penerapan INLISLite versi 3 di perpustakaan sekolah dianggap sebagai langkah strategis untuk mewujudkan perpustakaan yang efisien.
