Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate what affects the quality of education, one of the determining factors is quality assurance both internally and externally in educational institutions because educational institutions have a very central position in printing the nation's next generations, for that the role of educational institutions here In addition to being one of the mediators in producing the nation's generation, the success of the institution also cannot be separated from several aspects that support the institution to become a quality institution, such as the role of society, the role of parents of students, the government, students who are external aspects of the institution, while the internal aspects are here. which includes the organization of these institutions, such as school principals, teachers, staff (office boys) cleaning service, janitorial waiters and other components.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the mathematical reasoning ability of students in elementary mathematics learning in the context of reasoning. This research approach is a case study-based qualitative research approach with 35 PGSD students in the first semester of the 2021-2022 academic year consisting of 12 female students and 23 male students. Data was collected by means of tests and non-tests (interviews, observations, questionnaires, and documentation studies). The results showed that the mathematical reasoning ability of PGSD students in elementary mathematics learning with a context in the good category.

Abstract

The research objective was to analyze the difficulties of elementary and junior high school students in learning science. The subjects in this study were students of class IV SD Negeri 4 Danger and class VII SMP Negeri 1 Masbagik. The sample in this study was determined by purposive random sampling with superior schools and classes that had an average grade that had not yet reached the KKM. Data collection techniques used by researchers are observation, tests, interviews, and documents. The type of observation used by researchers is passive participation observation, that is, researchers make observations by coming to the research site, but are not involved in the activities carried out (Sugiyono, 2019). The interviews in this study were semi-structured interviews. In this study the test method was used to find out the difficulty of learning science, namely understanding the concept of science in class IV SD Negeri 4 Danger and class VII SMPN 1 Masbagik which consisted of 15 essay questions. The results of this study found several factors causing student learning difficulties including external factors. The role of the teacher, the role of peers, and the role of parents. Another factor is the internal factor, namely the interest and learning habits of students.
