Abstract

Pengobatan diabetes mellitus dapat dilakukan secara alternatif dengan mempertimbangkan efek samping minimal pada penggunaan jangka panjang untuk menurunkan kadar gula darah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian rebusan herbal (daun sirih, buah pinang dan jahe) sebagai terapi maintenance pasien diabetes mellitus tipe 2. Responden pada penelitian ini yaitu pasien DM tipe 2 yang diberikan air rebusan herbal yang terdiri dari dua kelompok perlakuan yaitu kelompok kontrol yaitu penderita DM yang mengkonsumsi oral antidiabetic (OAD) sebanyak 10 orang dan kelompok perlakukan yaitu kelompok yang diberikan terapi dengan rebusan herbal sebanyak 10 orang. Pemeriksaan kadar gula darah dilakukan pada hari ke 0, 1, 3, 7,14, dan hari ke 30. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dengan analisis Pired T test diperoleh nilai korelasi 0,940 artinya hubungan kuat dan positif. Sedangkan tingkat signifikansi hubungan yaitu 0,000 artinya signifikan pada level 0,01. Berdasarkan hasil analisis Piret T tes pemberian rebusan herbal menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi 0,000, sedangkan hasil uji Pired T tes pemberian OAD diperoleh t hitung sebsar 9,073 dengan nilai df 69 nilai korelasi sebesar 0,968 dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,000. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan pada masing – masing perlakuan sehingga pemberian rebusan herbal mempengaruhi penurunan kadar kadar pasien DM tipe 2.

Abstract

On October 10, 2021, a catastrophic fire hit Naru Village, Sape District, Bima Regency, West Nusa Tenggara. Hundreds of people had to be evacuated because their houses were razed to the ground. The fire devoured 63 houses consisting of 71 families (241 people lost their homes), the survivorswere still forced to live in refugee camps built by the army. This disaster occurred in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic which has had a negative impact on economic conditions and public health. In order to ease the burden on the victims, the Surya Mandiri Midwifery Academy Bima initiated a community service program consisting of a fundraising campaign, raising funds from the community and collaborating with the Surya Mandiri Bima Midwifery Academy of Research and Community Service. This program is expected to raise awareness about the importance of providing assistance to disaster victims.

Abstract

Complementary food must meet the nutritional needs of 4 stars which must contain micro and macronutrients consisting of carbohydrates, protein, fat, vitamins and minerals. If complementary foods are not introduced around the age of 6 months, or if they are given inappropriately, they can be a risk factor for stunting. In giving MPASI, the things that need to be considered are the sufficient amount, time, texture, variety, method of administration, and principles of cleanliness. This research is a quantitative descriptive study to find out the knowledge of mothers of toddlers aged 6-12 about giving and how to make MPASI by calculating the frequency distribution. The results showed that the knowledge of mothers of toddlers aged 6-12 months about the purpose and benefits of giving a healthy menu of MPASI 4 stars was in the less category, namely 92% and 72%, the knowledge of mothers of toddlers aged 6-12 months about the nutritional needs of MPASI in the less category was equal to 92%, knowledge of mothers of toddlers aged 6 – 12 months about the Impact of Providing MPASI Healthy Menu is in the less category, namely 84%, types of MPASI given to toddlers aged 6 – 112 months are mostly processed factories, namely 90%, and accuracy of mothers of toddlers age 6 – 12 months about the accuracy of the method of cooking/texture in the inappropriate category, which is 71%.

Abstract

Background: Hypertension is one of the non-communicable diseases that many people of productive age and the elderly suffer from today. The increase in the prevalence of hypertension is influenced by lifestyle, one of which is smoking and excessive salt consumption.Purpose: To determine the smoking habits and excessive salt consumption on hypertension occurrence among the elderly.Method: A cross-sectional research design with a population was the elderly who lived in the working area of the Mangger Health Centre. The number of samples in this study was 91 elderly. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The instrument used is a questionnaire. Data analysis using chi-square test.Results: Finding that there was an influence between smoking behavior on the incidence of hypertension in the elderly (0.040<0.05) and OR = 2.663. there is an influence between excessive salt consumption on the incidence of hypertension in the elderly (0.001<0.05) and OR= 4.948Conclusion: The elderly who smoke are 2.6 times more likely to suffer from hypertension compared to the elderly who do not smoke and the elderly who consume excess salt is 5 times more likely to suffer from hypertension compared to the elderly who do not consume excess saltSuggestion: Health workers to provide education to the public about efforts to prevent hypertension by improving lifestyle.Keywords: Smoking habits; Excessive salt consumption; Hypertension; Elderly.Pendahuluan: Hipertensi  merupakan  salah  satu  penyakit  tidak  menular  yang  banyak  diderita  oleh masyarakat usia produktif dan lansia saat ini. Peningkatan prevalensi hipertensi dipengaruhi oleh gaya hidup salah satunya adalah merokok dan konsumsi garam berlebih.Tujuan: Mengetahui pengaruh kebiasaan merokok dan konsumsi garam berlebihan terhadap kejadian hipertensi pada lansiaMetode: Penelitian cross sectional dengan populasinya lansia yang tinggal di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Mangger dan jumlah sampelnya sebanyak 91 lansia. Teknik sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan uji chi square.Hasil: Didapatkan adanya pengaruh antara perilaku merokok terhadap kejadian hipertensi pada lansia (0,040<0,05) dan OR=2,663. Ada pengaruh antara konsumsi garam berlebihan terhadap kejadian hipertensi pada lansia (0,001<0,05) dan OR= 4,948.Simpulan: Lansia yang merokok berpeluang 2,6 kali menderita hipertensi dibandingkan dengan lansia yang tidak merokok dan lansia yang mengkonsumsi garam berlebih berpeluang 5 kali menderita hipertensi dibandingkan dengan lansia yang tidak konsumsi garam berlebih.Saran: Disarankan kepada tenaga kesehatan untuk memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat tentang upaya pencegahan hipertensi dengan memperbaiki gaya hidup.

Abstract

Cosmetic products are a daily necessity and are widely used by young women, including pregnant women. Recent cross-sectional studies show 60–80% of pregnant women also use cosmetic products, including facial cleanser, day cream, foundation, mascara, lipstick, eye pencil, eye shadow and makeup remover. Cosmetic products contain various chemical substances (e.g. phthalates, parabens, formaldehyde, dioxane, nitrosamines, hydroquinone, phenols, organic solvents) and heavy metals (e.g. Pb, Hg, As, Cd, Cr, Sb, Ni), which are added intentionally. as an efficacy component to increase the skin care effect of cosmetic products or brought from raw materials, auxiliary materials or technical problems during the production process. The aim of this research is to determine the use of cosmetics by pregnant women during pregnancy. The research target is pregnant women in Bima City. The sampling technique is purposive sampling and data analysis by calculating the frequency distribution. The result showing Based on the data above, it shows that the majority of pregnant women use whitening during pregnancy, namely 30%, the duration of use of cosmetics in most pregnant women is >1 year, namely 30%, the majority of pregnant women use cosmetics during pregnancy because it becomes a need/habit, namely 40%, the effects arising from the use of cosmetics during pregnancy during pregnancy mostly have a brightening effect of 33.33%, and the knowledge of pregnant women is in the good category, namely 83.33%.

Abstract

Di daerah perdesaan masalah gizi terjadi melalui mekanisme yang berhubungan dengan ketersediaan fasilitas kesehatan maupun ketersediaan makanan. Ibu Hamil yang tinggal di daerah pedesaan rentan untuk mengalami kerawanan pangan. Kerawanan pangan mempunyai korelasi positif dan erat kaitannya dengan kemiskinanatau status ekonomi yang rendah.Tidak tersedianya distribusi pangan yang baik, daya beli tidak mencukupi, ketidaktepatan atau penggunaan yang tidak memadai pangan di tingkat rumah tangga mengakibatkan kurangnya akses ke jumlah yang cukup makanan yang aman dan bergizi untuk pemenuhan gizi seimbang pada ibu hamil.Panganan lokal berpotensi dikembangkan sebagai pangan sumber zat besi, probiotik dan kalsium. Buah naga dan Buah jambu biji diproduksi di beberapa wilayah di kabupaten Bima, seperti di Desa Bre. Kecamatan Palibelo kabupaten bima, Desa Bre merupakan salah satu daerah penghasil Buah naga dan buah jambu biji. Umumnya Petani masih dan terus menanam serta mengkonsumsi buah naga dan buah jambu biji dengan cara tradisional dan tidak tahu manfaat serta kegunaan, sehingga perlu edukasi tentang pengolahan buah naga dan buah jambu biji agar dapat dijadikan produk yang sehat dan menarik untuk ibu hamil. Hasil :Kegiatan PKMP-PMP mendapatkan respon positif dari mitra dengan kesimpulan sebagai berikut:sebagian besar umur sasaran/ibu hamil pada kategori umur 20-35 tahun yaitu sebesar 66,67%, sebagain besar ibu hamil pada usia kehamilan trimester I yaitu sebanyak 50, sebagian besar pendidikan ibu hamil pada kategroi pendidikan menengah (SMA/sederajat) yaitu sebesar 75%, sebagian ibu hamil tidak bekerja yaitu sebanyak 91,67%, sebagain besar ibu hamil dengan kadar hb normal yaitu sebanyak 83,33%, sebagian besar ibu hamil telah mendapatkan tablet Fe sebanyak 66,67%, adanya perubahan pngetahuan sebelum dan sesudah pemberian pendampingan dan pelatihan.dari kategori cukup (100%) menjadi kategori baik (100%).

Abstract

These complaints during pregnancy usually result in pregnant women self-medicating by using over-the-counter (OTC) medications, seeking prescribed medications, or using herbs. Herbal products are preferred over prescription drugs because it is believed that herbs are safer for the fetus than modern drugs. This research is a quantitative descriptive research. The purpose of this study was to identify the use of herbal medicine in pregnant women in dealing with complaints during pregnancy. This research was conducted in Bima City in September 2023 with a sample size of 34 pregnant women. The analysis used was univariate analysis by calculating the frequency distribution. The results of the study obtained were herbal ingredients that were often used to overcome during complaints consisted of turmeric temulawak kencur ginger cloves nutmeg guava leaves bidara bark garlic bangle Javanese chili, the type of preparation that was often used was consuming concoctions / decoctions and the use of shaken parems such as betel nut by 56% and the least use of concoctions / decoctions by 3%. Based on the indication of use, most pregnant women use herbal medicine to overcome nausea and vomiting and lack of appetite, each by 41%, and based on the desired effect, most pregnant women get a relaxing or calming effect by 94%.
