Abstract

Floating Market Lembang is a destination in Lembang, the boundary of West Bandung. Visitors visit in Floating Market Lembang always increasing in years. But that fact is not the same with the data which say tourist’s loyality haven’t maximum because majority of the tourist whose come to Floating Market lembang are new visitors. Decision of this research is to know influence of tourist experience to behavioral intention of Floating Market Lembang. The type of research are descriptive and verification. The survey method used is incidental sampling, which a sample size of 120 respondents. Data analysis technique using single regression techniques with coefficient determinant (R2) and partial (T) techniques. These results shows that there is a significant partial influence tourist experience to behavioral intention of Floating Market Lembang. The higher the ability of destination management in building positive experience on the tourists, so that it will increase positive image of the tourists in their visits. In this condition, directly or indirectly it will be able to build tourist’s willing in re-visiting to the destination. The correlation of the two variables can be simplisized in a sentence that in order to be able to build value of behavioral intention is how to be able to build tourist experience.

Abstract

Taman Sari Tourism Marketing Strategy Through Destination branding has tourism potential through culture and historical value. With this potential, the government is managing tourism in order to be able to move the economy in Taman Sari. In realizing this vision, planning and strategy are needed, one of which is Destination Branding. Destination branding is used in every tourism site in the world and is able to make a good impact on the progress of tourism, for example are the Twin Towers in Malaysia, the Merlion Statue in Singapore, the Taj Mahal in India, etc. Destination branding has an important role to be able to increase the number of tourist visits. This study uses a qualitative approach, a qualitative approach is used in order to get complete information about tourism marketing strategies with Destination Branding. The results of this study found that the Destination branding strategy in Taman Sari is not planned systematically, so that Destination branding is only understood in a small way, that is only in the visualization aspect. So that tourism product development programs are not in accordance with the concept of Destination branding that has been made.

Abstract

The hospitality industry is one of the most significant contributions in the Indonesian economy. Bandung City is one of the areas in West Java that has quite a lot of hospitality companies. One of the hospitality companies in Bandung is Hotel Grand Asrilia. However, lately it has been found a new type of virus that originated in Wuhan, China which caused the COVID-19 pandemic and brought enormous impact to the Indonesian economy even to the rest of the world. The purpose of this research is to find out the right strategy for Hotel Grand Asrilia in marketing its products during the COVID-19 pandemic. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method with the technique of observation data retrieval, interviews, library studies also interprets and outlines the existing data in conjunction with the current situation. The result of this study proved that the application of marketing through digital marketing has a positive impact for Hotel Grand Asrilia where the use of digital marketing in the think is necessary especially in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, so that business activities can continue to run and generate economic value.

Abstract

The living pattern mega shift happened because of the Covid-19 pandemic. The pattern shifting is rough and can be felt by everyone, especially in the tourism industry. Because of that, we need to conduct a study to find out the impact of the new normal era on the tourist experience, visiting decisions, tourist satisfaction, and the effect on the destination brand image. This study focused on the sociological aspect of tourism to observe the 1) tourist experience, 2) visiting decision process, 3) the satisfaction factor, and 4) the impact on the destination brand. The method used in this study is exploratory qualitative and uses data triangulation to analyze the data. The research instrument used in this study is observation, interview, and documentation. The total respondent of this study is 90 people chosen by the purposive sampling technique, and bring the final result of 87 valid respondents. The final result of this study is 1) 83,9% of respondent said that every destination has come with a good health protocol facility, 2) 86,2% said that the presence of the health protocol facility brings a positive visiting experience, 3) The visiting decision also influenced by the good health protocol facility but not to sign with only 68,96% respondent, 4) 81,6% respondent believed that their hope was fulfilling when their do the visit. And from that number, 55,17% said that their hope was fulfilled nicely, and 26,44% of respondent said that their hope was just quite fulfilled; 5) The brand issue related to the presence and the quality of the health protocol facility bring such a significant positive answer from 94,25% respondent.
