Abstract

The purpose of this research was to describe the learning motivation of Guidance and Counseling (BK) students of FKIP Undana in taking online lectures during the pandemic. The research approach used a mixed method, quantitative and qualitative researches. The data was collected through an accessible online questionnaire (google form) on 94 BK students and through Focused Group Discussion (FGD) with 10 students of semester III, V and VII of Guidance and Counselling’s. The results of data analysis showed that the learning motivation of BK students in taking online lectures is in the high category and has a very good percentage. It is hoped that the implementation of online learning during this pandemic can be more effective by paying attention to the delivery media, infrastructure and presenting learning that can arouse student learning motivation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hubungan antara Self-awareness dan self-management  mahasiswa BK FKIP Universitas Nusa Cendana dalam mengikuti pembelajaran praktikum selama masa pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan mixed method yaitu kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Teknik analisis data yaitu analisis korelasi product moment. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 58 mahasiswa program studi Bimbingan dan Konseling Universitas Nusa Cendana. Teknik pemilihan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan penyebaran angket Self-awareness dan self-management menggunakan google form serta pelaksanaan diskusi FGD (Focus group Discussion) menggunakan aplikasi Zoom. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dari hasil analisis korelasi sederhana (r) didapat korelasi antara self awaraness (variabel X) dan self management (variabel Y) yaitu 0,699. Hal  ini menunjukkan bahwa terjadi hubungan yang kuat antara self awaraness (variabel X) dan self management (variabel Y). Sedangkan arah hubungan adalah positif karena nilai r positif. Hal ini berindikasi bahwa semakin tinggi self awaraness maka semakin tinggi pula self management mahasiswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran praktikum secara daring selama masa pandemic Covid-19. Hasil analisis FGD yaitu mahasiswa yang memiliki kesadaran diri (self awareness) yang tinggi maka akan mampu mengelola diri (self management) seperti pikiran, perasaan dan sikap dengan baik pula.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the psychological condition of children from incomplete families who study at SMA PGRI Kupang. The research used a quantitative approach with a total sample size of 45 students. The sample selection used purposive sampling method. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire on the psychological condition of children from incomplete families. The data analysis technique used descriptive quantitative with the percentage to measure the psychological condition of the children.  The results of the research show that there were some effects on the psychological condition of children from incomplete families such as divorce from their parents, death of family members, living separately, empty families, alcoholic families and quarrelsome parents which reached 63%. It means that the family which was not intact was categorized as having a high effect on the students’ psychological condition, such as feeling sad, rejected, angry, hurt, lonely, guilty and blaming themselves, anxious, depressed, shutting down, embarrassed, stressed, feeling insecure and losing affection. Therefore, the supervising teachers can provide motivation and provide Counseling Guidance services for every student, especially those who live in the intact families for their achievement and their improvement at the Middle Education level.

Abstract

Kegiatan PKM dilakukan di Panti Sosial Lansia Budi Agung Kupang dengan sasaran kegiatan yaitu pengasuh dan penghuni Panti Sosial Lansia Budi Agung Kupang. Masalah yang temukan yaitu bahwa tinggal di panti sosial membuat para lansia mudah menyerah terhadap kehidupan. Hal tersebut dapat terjadi akibat kurangnya stimulasi mental pada lansia yang menyebabkan munculnya sikap apatis atau tidak peduli terhadap kehidupan sehari-harinya. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah menambah wawasan dan pemahaman pengasuh dalam upaya meningkatkan pelayanan sosial bagi lansia melalui bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik games dan membantu lansia agar tidak merasa terbuang atau di kucilkan oleh keluarga, sehingga lansia merasa bersyukur dan menikmati masa tua bersama penghuni panti yang lain dengan rasa senang tanpa merasa kesepian dan apatis. Pelaksanaan pelatihan dilakukan dalam bentuk penyuluhan, bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik games dan workshop. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan pelatihan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik games sangat baik untuk pengembangan kompetensi Pengasuh lansia sehingga memiliki cara baru yang lebih kreatif, inovatif dan menyenangkan dalam memberikan pelayanan kepada lansia dan lansia juga tidak lagi merasa kesepian dan apatis.

Abstract

Carrying out marriage before the specified age has risks that can be felt by both men and women, such as dropping out of education, disruption of reproductive health, and divorce at a young age, as well as cases of domestic violence which result in depression which leads to trauma. So there is a need for systematic and effective problem solving by implementing guidance group services to increase students' understanding of the dangers of early marriage at SMPN 2 Wae Ri'i, Manggarai Regency. This research uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental research type with a one group pretest and posttest research design. This research was carried out at SMPN 2 Wae Ri'i Manggarai Regency with a population of 300 people and a sample of 12 people. The sampling technique used was the purposive sampling method. The data collection technique uses a Likert scale questionnaire. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive analysis and paired difference test analysis of sample t tests with the help of SPSS For Windows 20Version. The results of the study showed that after being given treatment the difference in the average score before being given treatment was 84.00 and there was a post test average after being given treatment of 157.83. Apart from that, the t count obtained using the paired sample t test was (-57.763) this value was > t table (1.796) with a sig value of 0.00 < 0.05, which means Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. In this way, group guidance services can be used to increase students' understanding of the dangers of early marriage

Abstract

Abstrak Mengajarkan keterampilan hidup seringkali dilupakan oleh orangtua dengan alasan tak mau anak mengalami kesusahan. Tetapi ketika keadaan jadi sangat berbeda dan anak tak punya keterampilan yang mumpuni, justru akan sangat merugikannya. Keterampilan merupakan hal penting dalam kehidupan khususnya pada anak remaja karena dapat membuat manusia lebih produktif. Pelatihan keterampilan kepada remaja di PPA IO 0460 GMIT Pohonitas, dapat membentuk jiwa kemandirian dan kewirausahaan remaja tersebut. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini yaitu dapat melatih keterampilan remaja melalui pemanfaatan limbah kain percah, juga dapat meningkatkan perekonomian dan sosial keluarga. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yaitu metode ceramah, pelatihan, penugasan, follow up dan pemberian reward. Peserta kegaiatan ini yaitu pengurus PPA dan siswa PPA kelas remaja sejumlah 40 orang. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan ini yaitu menumbuhkan kesadaran untuk memanfaatkan sampah kain percah menjadi barang yang bernilai jual berupa kalung (necklace), bandana, bandol, bros, jepit rambut, pita rambut/kranci, gelang, anting, keset dan gantungan masker. AbstractTeaching life skills is often forgotten by parents on the grounds that they do not want their children to experience difficulties. But when things get very different and the child doesn't have qualified skills, it will be very detrimental to him. Skills are important in life, especially in adolescents because they can make humans more productive. Skills training for adolescents at PPA IO GMIT Pohonitas, can shape the spirit of independence and entrepreneurship of the teenager. The purpose of this community service activity is to be able to train the skills of adolescents through the use of broken cloth waste, as well as improve the economy and social family. The methods used in community service activities are lectures, training, assignments, follow-ups and rewarding, . The participants of this activity were PPA administrators and 40 PPA students in the adolesen class. The result of this activity is to raise awareness to use trash waste into goods that are of selling value in the form of necklaces, bandanas, bandols, brooches, hairpins, hair ribbons / kranci, bracelets, earrings, mask hangers and doormats.

Abstract

The process of implementing tutoring to overcome students' inability to read includes concrete steps which are classified into three stages, namely before guidance which includes case identification, problem identification and diagnosis. This stage is carried out to understand the root of students' problems in reading. During guidance, which includes a prognosis stage or a stage where alternatives are determined in overcoming the problem of a student's inability to read, where alternative problems are determined by considering the student's condition and needs. After being given guidance which includes the evaluation and follow-up stages, this stage is carried out to monitor students' progress in reading after being given tutoring services. This research aims to describe the implementation of tutoring to overcome reading disabilities in class VII students at SMP Negeri 8 Kupang. The approach and type of research used in this research is qualitative, with a case study type of research. The data collection techniques used in this research are interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The data validation techniques that researchers use are source triangulation and technical triangulation. The research results show that the implementation of tutoring to overcome reading disabilities in class VII students at SMP Negeri 8 Kupang is classified into 3, namely before tutoring, during tutoring and after being given tutoring. At the stage before guidance, the guidance and counseling teacher carefully identifies cases and problems, including identifying specific difficulties experienced by students in reading, such as difficulty reading haltingly and difficulty distinguishing the same letters. Next, at the tutoring stage, the guidance counselor determines a prognosis and offers alternatives in overcoming problems. What the guidance counselor does at this stage is that the guidance counselor provides tutoring services using the individual tutoring method. In this tutoring, the guidance and counseling teacher teaches students about learning to read with vocabulary, learning to read with spelling and learning to recognize letters. Finally, at the stage after guidance, evaluation and follow-up, the guidance and counseling teacher monitors students' progress in reading using reading journals and student reading monitoring sheets at home. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that a structured and systematic approach is very important in helping students overcome their learning difficulties. By dividing the tutoring process into three stages, namely before, during, and after tutoring, counselors can effectively identify problems, determine a prognosis, and evaluate student progress.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the description of the group guidance process using sociodrama techniques, empathy and the extent of the effectiveness of group guidance using sociodrama techniques to increase the sense of empathy of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 16 Kupang. This research uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental research type with a one group pre test and post test research design. This research was carried out at SMP Negeri 16 Kupang. The sampling technique used is the purposive sampling method, namely the sample is taken according to the aims and objectives of the research, where a pre-test will be given to the entire population of 180 students, from the results of the pre-test students who show low empathy will be used as a sample, namely 10 students. The data collection technique uses an empathy and observation scale. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis, Mann Whitney hypothesis testing with the help of the SPSS For Windows 25Version program. The results of this research show that there is an increase in students' sense of empathy after being provided with group guidance services using sociodrama techniques. This is proven by the difference in the mean score before being given treatment, 5.50 and the mean score after being given treatment, 15.50. Apart from that, the Asymp value is obtained. Sig. (2-tailed) in the Mann Whitney hypothesis test is 0.000 < 0.05, which means Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. Thus, it shows that group guidance services using sociodrama techniques can increase the sense of empathy of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 16 Kupang.
