Abstract

Abstract: The aims of this study is to determine the effect of educational game on kindergarten students’s social interaction. This quantitative research uses Quasi Experimental research design in Reversal Time Series Design. The population in this study were 56 B1 grade kindergarten students of Taman Kanak-kanak St. Francis Xaverius Tarakan, then we took 10 of them as a sample. The data collection technique used is using observation. The data were analysed using graphical analysis technique, then a decision were made based on: frequency, latency, tendency of stability, tendency of chart direction, and level change. The results show that educational games have a significant positive effect on kindergarten students’s social interactionAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh metode permainan edukatif terhadap interaksi sosial siswa taman kanak-kanak katolik (TKK). Penelitian kuantitatif ini menggunakan desain penelitian Quasi Eksperimental dalam bentuk Reversal Time Series Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 56 siswa kelas B1 TKK St. Fransiskus Xaverius Tarakan yang kemudian diambil 10 siswa sebagai sampel. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah menggunakan observasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis grafik dengan ketentuan pengambilan keputusan analisis grafik berdasarkan: frekuensi, latensi, kecenderungan stabilitas, kecenderungan arah grafik, dan level perubahan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa permainan edukatif memberikan pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap interaksi sosial siswa.Permalink/DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.17977/um001v2i42017p132

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this research is to create a simulation game Snakes and Ladders Career which is used by Guidance and Counseling teachers to develop insight and career readiness of elementary school students. The steps of this research development are (1) preparation, (2) preparation of the initial product, (3) expert test, (4) revision of the first product, 5) field test, and 6) revision of the final product. The product trial was conducted on 9 users and 2 experts. The resulting product specifications are in the form of a snake and ladder graphic media with a size of 3x3 m and dice size 20x20x20 cm as well as a guide book. The game media "career ladder snake" is declared to have very high validity based on the results of validation by media experts, material experts and users. So that the overall assessment of the validators stated that the "career ladder snake" game media was worthy of being used as a game medium for students in elementary school. Why is that the result? The game media that has been developed is feasible to use because the ratings from users and experts state that there is no need for significant improvements. This study can be used to produce game media that provide an understanding of the types of professions for elementary school students. Keywords : game media; career ladder snake, elementary school, career guidance AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah menciptakan permainan simulasi Ular Tangga Karier yang digunakan oleh guru Bimbingan dan Konseling untuk mengembangkan wawasan dan kesiapan karier siswa Sekolah Dasar. Langkah-langkah penelitian pengembangan ini adalah (1) persiapan, (2) penyusunan produk awal, (3) uji ahli, (4) revisi produk pertama, 5) uji lapangan, dan 6) revisi produk akhir. Uji coba produk dilakukan pada 9 pengguna dan 2 ahli.  Spesifikasi produk yang dihasilkan berupa media grafis ular tangga dengan ukuran 3x3 m dan dadu ukuran 20x20x20 cm serta buku panduannya. Media permainan “ular tangga karier” dinyatakan memiliki validitas sangat tinggi berdasarkan hasil validasi oleh ahli media, ahli materi dan pengguna. Sehingga secara keseluruhan penilaian dari para validator menyatakan media permainan “ular tangga karier” layak digunakan sebagai media permainan kepada peserta didik di sekolah dasar. Kenapa hasilnya demikian? Media permainan yang dikembangkan telah layak digunakan karena penilaian dari pengguna dan ahli menyatakan tanpa perlu perbaikan yang signifikan. Studi ini dapat digunakan untuk menghasilkan media permainan yang memberikan pemahaman jenis-jenis profesi bagi siswa sekolah dasar.  Kata kunci: media permainan; ular tangga karier, sekolah dasar, bimbingan karier

Workshop Pembelajaran Berdiferensiasi kepada Guru Kelas pada Sekolah Penggerak di Kota Kupang diharapkan memberikan kontribusi positif dalam peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran di kelas. Selain itu, Guru diharapkan mampu menanamkan budaya positif kepada siswa agar memiliki karakter sesuai dengan Profil pelajar Pancasila.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the Achievements of Cognitive Development Aspects of Children Aged 5-6 Years before the Covid-19 Pandemic, and the Achievements of Children's Cognitive Development during the Covid-19 Pandemic, at Santa Sesilia Kindergarten, Lewokluok Village, Demon Pagong District, east Flores Regency. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach. Interview data collection techniques and documentation studies. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the achievement of aspects of children's cognitive development before the covid-19 pandemic, most of their children were in the category of developing very well and developing as expected, and the achievement of aspects of children's cognitive development during the covid-19 pandemic showed that most children were in the category of undeveloped and began to develop. The conclusion of this study is that the achievement of aspects of cognitive development of children who were in the school year during the covid-19 pandemic decreased because most of their children were in the category of undeveloped and began to develop, compared to children who were in the school year before the covid-19 pandemic, most of whose children were in the category of developing as expected and developing very well.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between parental attachment and self-concept in adolescent children. We found that students tended to behave negatively following the behavior of their group rather than following the direction and attention of their parents. This study uses a quantitative approach to the type of correlational research. The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between attachment and self-concept in MTs Al-Baitul Qadim Airmata Kupang students. It can be concluded that between parental attachment and self-concept in MTs Al-Baitul Qadim Airmata Kupang students there is a strong relationship with a positive direction, meaning that the higher the parental attachment, the higher the self-concept in MTs Al-Baitul Qadim Airmata Kupang students. On the other hand, the lower the parent's attachment, the lower the self-concept in MTs Al-Baitul Qadim Airmata Kupang students.

Abstract

Pelatihan workshop ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model layanan Bimbingan Konseling (BK) di Kabupaten Belu, Nusa Tenggara Timur, dengan memanfaatkan kearifan lokal melalui permainan tradisional "Rangku Alu". Pelatihan workshop ini dilaksanakan dengan metode ceramah, simulasi, dan praktek langsung. Peserta pelatihan adalah guru BK dari berbagai sekolah dasar dan menengah di Kabupaten Belu. Kegiatan telah dilaksanakan pada tanggal 17 Juni 2023 dipusatkan di SMKN 1 Atambua. Evaluasi pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan workshop ini sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta dalam mengembangkan model layanan BK berbasis kearifan lokal dengan menggunakan permainan Rangku Alu. Pelatihan workshop ini diharapkan dapat menjadi contoh bagi daerah lain untuk mengembangkan model layanan BK yang inovatif dan berbasis kearifan lokal

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) Description of the Satisfaction of Receiving Counseling Services, (2) An Overview of Discipline Students, (3) The Relationship between Satisfaction. This study uses a quantitative. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Atambua with a sample of 78 students using stratified random technique. The data collection technique is a questionnaire. The data analysis technique is descriptive analysis and correlation analysis with the help of SPSS for Windows 22.00 Version. The results showed that 60 students (76.92%) of SMP Negeri 2 Atambua were satisfied with obtaining counseling services, and 57 students (73.07%) were disciplined in obeying school rules. There is a positive relationship between satisfaction with obtaining counseling services and discipline in obeying school rules with an rxy value of 0.343. The results of the correlation significance test show that there is a positive relationship with the value of r count > r table, namely 0.343 > 0.2227. Therefore, students have satisfaction such as obeying the rules that apply at school and the ability to show attitudes, behavior at school

Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) the picture of the activeness of the FKIP Undana student organization, (2) the picture of the confidence of FKIP Undana students and (3) whether there is a relationship between organizational activity and self-confidence in students of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Nusa Cendana University. This study used a quantitative approach with a correlation type of research. The research was conducted at Campus B FKIP Undana with an affordable population of 105 people and a sample of 63 respondents. The sampling technique is carried out by the simple random sampling method. Data collection technique using Likert scale questionnaire. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive analysis and product moment correlation analysis with the help of the SPPS program version 20. The results showed that organizational activity in FKIP Undana students was in the active category with a percentage of 52.4%, and the results of data analysis of the confidence of FKIP Undana students were in the confidence category with a percentage of 51%. Based on the correlation analysis of product moment, a sig value is obtained. (2-tailed) 0.000 and r-calculated value 0.797 at level 0.05 so r-table 0.2480. This shows that there is a strong/high positive relationship between organizational activity and self-confidence in students of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Nusa Cendana University. The results of the product moment correlation test show that there is a high/strong relationship between organizational activity and the confidence of FKIP Undana students, and having a positive relationship means that high/strong levels of organizational activity can increase self-confidence. Based on the results of these findings, it can motivate students who are oragnized to continue to actively participate in every activity carried out by the organization and for students who have not organized, if you want to increase self-confidence, it can be done by joining and being active in organizational activities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the implementation of counseling teacher home visits in dealing with student delinquency and the factors that influence the implementation of home visits for counseling teachers in overcoming student delinquency at Tumu State Junior High School, Amanuban Tengah District. South Central Timor. This type of research is phenomenalogy with a qualitative approach. The subject of this research is guidance counseling teachers while the object of this research is the implementation of home visits in overcoming student delinquency. The informants in this study were guidance counseling teachers, totaling 2 people. Data collection techniques used interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used was narrative. The results showed that: the implementation of home visits for Counseling Teachers in overcoming student delinquency at Tumu State Junior High School, Central Amanuban District, South Central Timor Regency was carried out by 2 counseling guidance teachers. each counseling guidance teacher prepares everything needed to carry out home visits starting from planning, implementing, evaluating, and following up. Home visiting activities carried out must also be carried out in collaboration with other school parties such as: Principals, homeroom teachers, subject teachers, and so on.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the description of destructive behavior, the description of acts of bullying, and the relationship between destructive behavior and acts of bullying in students at SMPS St. Antonius Padua Leworahang in East Flores Regency. Destructive behavior is behavior that is rude, against teachers, and violates school regulations which is caused by emotions, hatred, and lack of self-confidence that are not controlled by students. Bullying is an unpleasant action whether verbally, physically or socially in the real world or in the virtual world that makes someone/others feel uncomfortable, hurt and depressed. This research uses a quantitative approach with descriptive correlation research. This research involved students from SMPS St. Antonius Padua Leworahang, East Flores Regency. The sampling technique in this research used Proportional random sampling. The data collection technique used in this research was a questionnaire, and to analyze the data descriptive and correlation analysis techniques were used with the help of the SPSS version 26 program. The results of the research showed (1) a general picture of destructive behavior at SMPS St. Antonius Padua Leworahang is dominantly in the low category with a percentage of 48% (32 people), (2) students' descriptions of bullying acts are dominantly in the high category with a percentage of 52% (35 people), (3) Between destructive behavior and bullying actions there is a direction positive relationship as shown by the calculated r-value of 0.334 ˃ r-table 0.2257. This data shows that the student's destructive behavior variable also has a relationship with bullying actions among students at SMPS St. Antonius Padua Leworahang in East Flores Regency.
