Abstract

This community service aims to accommodate the needs of tourism vocational school teachers in improving English language skills, especially English for hospitality and tourism industry through online English language training. The participants are tourism English teachers at SMK Putikecwara Batu. This activity is expected to improve the quality of learning at the SMK Putikecwara Batu through improving the English language skills of the teachers, which will then be implemented in the classroom and help students improve their English language skills in the tourism sector, especially hospitality and tourism industry. This activity is carried out in four stages, namely planning (to determine the number of participants who will be involved and the materials needed in the training), surveys to schools (to ensure that the plans made are in accordance with the needs), training implementation, and evaluation (giving questionnaires to the participants related to the implementation and training materials).

Abstract

In this modern era, doing business requires a marketing strategy to market a product. One good marketing method is to utilize a customer database. A database is a collection of data or information stored systematically. Meanwhile, the customer database is data that contains customer personal information, such as name, email, telephone number, age, gender, product search history, transaction history and other demographic and psychographic data. This database can be used to build and maintain a business, as well as establishing good relationships with customers. As Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), the hope is that they can keep up with developments by becoming familiar with data. When you are data literate, it will make it easier for MSMEs to develop their business in this digital era. The customer database will help MSMEs reach more consumers. Utilizing data coupled with knowledge in processing customer databases is one of the keys to successfully managing a business. As an MSME actor, you must also be able to use data optimally. The Sanan tempeh chips center, as one of the areas in Malang City, is the center of a home industry that produces tempeh chips that are still surviving in this global era. The aim of this research is to help MSMEs to manage customer databases, business actors know and of course create the best business strategies

Abstract

Desa Tulus Besar, salah satu desa di Kabupaten Malang, memiliki potensi wisata budaya dan seni yang kaya terutama kesenian tari, Namun, penyelenggaraan event pertunjukan tari di desa ini masih menghadapi kendala, terutama dalam aspek manajemen dan profesionalitas. Melalui Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM), tim dosen Politeknik Negeri Malang melakukan pendampingan kepada para pegiat seni tari yang tergabung dalam Sanggar Tari Srikandi. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan masyarakat dalam mengelola event pertunjukan tari secara sistematis dan berkelanjutan. Metode pengabdian yang digunakan dalam kegiatan PKM ini adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR) yang melibatkan masyarakat dan pengelola seni desa sebagai mitra aktif sejak tahap identifikasi permasalahan dalam penyelenggaraan event kesenian, perencanaan program pendampingan, pelaksanaan kegiatan, hingga evaluasi dan refleksi bersama. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta mampu menerapkan konsep manajemen event secara efektif dengan terselenggaranya pertunjukan seni tari. Kegiatan ini juga berhasil melibatkan masyarakat lokal melalui partisipasi UMKM dalam stand bazar yang turut memeriahkan acara. Keberhasilan ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pendampingan mampu meningkatkan profesionalitas pengelolaan event seni sehingga dapat menjaga keberlanjutan budaya lokal di tengah perubahan sosial melalui event dan berpotensi menjadikan Desa Tulus Besar sebagai destinasi wisata budaya lokal yang berkelanjutan.
