Abstract

Education is the main capital for humans to prosper. The importance of the role of education in improving welfare requires the need for equal distribution of education in each region regardless of socioeconomic, gender and racial backgrounds. In making educational equality, it is important to know the factors that influence educational inequality, namely income inequality, poverty and education gap. Reducing the income inequality, poverty and education gender gap in each province in Indonesia will reduce education inequality which is the responsibility of all parties, both the central and regional governments. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of income inequality, poverty and education gender gap on education inequality in Indonesia in 2016-2018. Data analysis was performed using the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method with a panel data regression estimation model using the help of eviews 9.0. Estimation results show that partially income inequality, poverty and gender gap in education have a positive and significant effect on educational inequality in Indonesia, while simultaneously income inequality, poverty and education gender gap negatively affect education inequality in Indonesia.

Abstract

The background of the research was the observations regarding the low student learning outcomes because the learning process takes place without a student handbook and the teacher's lack of ability in developing teaching materials so that the learning process still uses the lecture method. Thus, it causes the learning process to be less effective. The purpose of this research was to determine the feasibility of booklet teaching materials based on the learning cycle model developed in accounting subjects for class X SMK BM Panca Budi 2 Medan. The location of the research was at SMK BM Panca Budi 2 Medan, on Jalan Gatot Subroto KM 4,5. The class was class X Accounting for the 2020/2021 Academic Year.  This research applied qQuantitative research and developmental (Research and Development) with a 4-D teaching material development model (Four D Model), or 4P by Thiagjaran and Semmel (Trianto, 2013). The 4D development model consists of 4 main stages, namely: (1) define, (2) design, (3) develop, and (4) disseminate. The data analysis technique used was descriptive and inferential techniques. Based on the results of the research, the product of booklet teaching materials based on the learning cycle model in accounting subjects with general journal material in class X SMK BM Panca Budi 2 Medan was feasible to use based on material expert validation with an average of 96.37% design experts, an average of 95, 8% and media experts with an average of 92.9%. Thus, it is suggested to teachers, especially at SMK BM Panca Budi 2 Medan to be more creative in making teaching materials.

Abstract

Indonesia is known as a developing country which industrial production has not been sustainable to the local demand. This is reflected in Indonesia's dependence on other countries in terms of consumer goods, raw and auxiliary materials as well as capital goods. Indonesia carries out import activities because most domestic products have not been able to compete with foreign products, and there is a sense of grandeur for the people when they are able to buy goods from abroad. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of gross domestic product (GDP), foreign exchange reserves, exchange rates and inflation on imports in Indonesia in 2000 - 2019. The method of analysis in this study uses the Error Correction Model (ECM). The estimation results show that in the short term, the variable gross domestic product (GDP), foreign exchange reserves and inflation have a positive and significant effect on imports in Indonesia, while in the long run, all variables have a significant and significant effect on imports in Indonesia. In this case, the support of the government and producers by providing good quality production will greatly assist in the development of the domestic industry, so that the Indonesian people turn to domestic products again.
