Abstract

During the current pandemic, learning vocational physics studies courses are carried out online but there is not yet adequate media. So it is considered necessary to develop teaching materials in the form of e-modules to support the learning process. Development research e-module integrated STEM based inquiry learning in vocational physics studies courses aims to see the feasibility of e-modules on material expert assessments and media expert assessments as well as student readability of e-modules. This research uses design ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) and implemented in the UNIMAL Physics Education Study Program. The results of this research are: (1) the validation on the aspect of the evaluation of material experts is worth 74.27% with a fairly valid category with a reliability of 86.31% in the very good category, (2) the validation on the aspect of the assessment of the media expert is worth 77.8% with the category very valid, or can be used without revision with a reliability value of  98.34% with a very good category and (3) a student response value of 85.09%, with very attractive criteria. So it can be concluded that the STEM-based e-module integrated inquiry learning in vocational physics studies courses is declared feasible to use.

Abstract

The purpose of this activity is to improve digital literacy competencies and optimize the ability of teachers to use e-learning media in the implementation of  Distance Learning (PJJ). The training materials are tailored to the needs of teachers as participants to overcome digital literacy problems that exist in schools. The method of implementation is carried out by the lecture method to deliver digital literacy competency material, training methods to provide direct experience in using e-learning applications, and dialogical methods. To measure the increase in participants' knowledge and understanding in this activity, questionnaires were given before and after training. The questionnaire contains tests for testing knowledge and understanding of digital literacy and the use of e-learning applications. Participants in this activity were all teachers of SMPN 2 Dewantara, North Aceh. This activity provides significant benefits of improving understanding of teachers' digital literacy competencies and skills in using e-learning applications that can be used in implementing Distance Learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran MURDER pada materi gelombang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan menggunakan rancangan Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Dewantara. Sampel dipilih dengan teknik Purposive Sampling sehingga kelas VIIIA sebagai kelas kontrol dengan jumlah 31 siswa dan kelas VIIIB sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan jumlah 30 siswa. Berdasarkan analisis data, hasil belajar siswa kelas ekperimen untuk soal pilihan ganda diperoleh nilai rata-rata posttest sebesar 72,00 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 59,61. Nilai uji independent sample t test pada soal pilihan ganda diperoleh nilai signifikan 2-tailed sebesar 0,003 < 0,05 dan soal essay diperoleh nilai signifikan 2-tailed sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran MURDER yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa di SMP Negeri 2 Dewantara.

Abstract

Students with high self-efficacy mean having high motivation, awareness and self-regulation so that it is expected to have a positive effect on learning outcomes including numeracy skills, self-efficacy can be influenced by internal factors such as gender. This study aims to analyze differences in self-efficacy students' and numeracy literacy skills based on gender, the relationship between self-efficacy and students' numeracy literacy skills based on gender and the effect of  self-efficacy on students' numeracy literacy skills. The method used is descriptive method. The sample of this study was 88 students consisting of 44 male students and 44 female students of VIII SMP from four schools in North Aceh and Lhokseumawe who were participants in the 2021 national assessment. Data collection used questionnaire instrument self-efficacy containing 45 statement items and 36 numeracy literacy questions that are already valid and in accordance with the AN question grid. The results showed that the significance value was 0.288 > 0.005 indicating that there was no significant difference between the self-efficacy of male and female students, (2) the significance value was 0.652 > 0.05, meaning that there was no significant difference between literacy abilities numeracy men and female (3) self-efficacy and literacy numeracy students have a relationship with the degree of correlation is high and positively related (4) the coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.489 explains that the influence of self-efficacy with literacy numeracy student is 48.9%.

Abstract

Penguasaan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi dalam dunia pendidikan digunakan untuk memperlancar proses belajar dan pembelajaran. Penguasaan TIK terintegrasi dengan penggunaan media digital pada proses pembelajaran sebagai wujud penguatan kemampuan literasi digital baik guru maupun peserta didik. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian adalah memberikan pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi  iSpring Suite dan smart apps sebagai media pembelajaran digital bagi guru SD di Lhokseumawe pada era new normal. Metode pelaksanaan terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu identifikasi permasalahan, pengolahan informasi dan penentuan pemecahan masalah, penyusunan materi pelatihan, kegiatan pelaksanaan. Peserta kegiatan adalah guru-guru SD yang berasal dari SDN 1 Muara Satu, SDN 2 Muara satu, SDN 3 Muara Satu, SDN 4 Muara Satu, SDN 5 Muara Satu, SDN 6 Muara Satu, SDN 7 Muara Satu dan SD Arun Muara satu. Kegiatan dilakukan 3 kali pertemuan, pertemuan pertama dilakukan pelatihan sedangkan pertemuan kedua dan ketiga dilakukan pendampingan. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan ini terjadi peningkatan dalam pemanfaatan TIK sebesar 15%, Pemanfaatan android sebesar 5%, mengenal aplikasi berbasis android sebesar 36%, kemampuan menyusun aplikasi pembelajaran berbasis android 59%, dan peningkatan dalam keinginan melaksanakan pembelajaran menggunakan media berbasis android sebesar 4%, dengan demikian terjadi peningkatan rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 24%

Abstract

The 21st century requires teachers to have skills in utilizing information and communication technology (ICT) in learning. Currently, Android is one of the right media choices in learning in this digital era. This activity aims to train elementary school teachers in improving their ability to use ICT and guide elementary school teachers to create android-based media in learning. Implementation of activities using the method of Direct Instruction, Workshop and Field Guidance. After the activity ended, a closed questionnaire was distributed to find out the results of the activity. The results obtained were an increase in the understanding of ICT for elementary school teachers after this activity was carried out, besides that the teacher was also able to create an Android-based learning application. During the implementation of the activity, the teacher looks enthusiastic and enthusiastic in making applications.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1)  mengetahui kelayakan LKS berbasis virtual lab berbantuan simulasi PhET. 2) mengetahui besar peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa setelah menggunakan LKS berbasis virtual lab berbantuan simulasi PhET. 3) mengetahui respon siswa terhadap LKS berbasis virtual Lab berbantuan simulasi PhET. Penelitian ini menggunakan  metode Research and Development (R&D). Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan LKS, soal  Essay dan angket respon siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKS berbasis virtual lab berbantuan  simulasi PhET  1) layak digunakan dengan nilai validasi dosen ahli media sebesar 82%, guru ahli materi sebesar 92% dengan kategori “sangat valid”. 2) dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dengan nilai  rata-rata N-Gain Score  sebesar 0.70 dengan  kategori “tinggi”. 3) respon siswa sebesar 90% dengan kategori “sangat positif”. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKS berbasis virtual lab berbantuan simulasi PhET yang dikembangkan memunuhi kriteria valid dan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa, serta mendapat respon positif dari siswa.

Abstract

The numeracy ability of students in Indonesia is in a low category based on PISA results from 2000 to 2018. So, efforts are needed to strengthen numeracy skills through the development of ethnoscience-based numeracy test instruments. The purpose of this study was to analyze the characteristics of the ethnoscience-based numeracy test instrument using the Rasch model.  The subjects of this study were students of SMPN Arun and SMPS Sukma Bangsa, Lhokseumawe City, totaling 123 students. The number of questions to be analyzed in the test is 68 items. Analysis using Winsteps software. The results of the analysis showed that the ethnoscience-based numeration instrument in this study was declared reliable. 59 of the 68 items were said to be valid, with details of 32 valid items eligible to be used and 27 valid items needing to be revised for improvement before being used. This instrument can be used to measure subjects who have ethnoscience-based numeracy skills in the low, medium, and high categories, so to examine ethnoscience-based numeracy skills students can use this instrument.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media Mobile Learning berbasis Android terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi Gerak Lurus. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode campuran (Mix Method) dengan desain Sequential Exploratory yang menggabungkan penelitian kualitatif dan kuantitatif secara berurutan. Dengan menggunakan metode pre-experimental desain One Group Pretest-Posttest dan metode pengembangan ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implement, Evaluation). Adapun kelayakan media Mobile Learning sebesar 87,6%, kemenarikan dan kemudahan Mobile Learning oleh guru sebesar 90,9%, serta kemenarikan dan kemudahan Mobile Learning oleh siswa sebesar 92,7%. Secara keseluruhan produk Mobile Learning berbasis Android pada materi Gerak Lurus layak, menarik, memudahkan, dan dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh media Mobile Learning terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi kinematika gerak lurus.

Abstract

The purpose of this activity is to introduce SPSS software to students in the form of the benefits of SPSS software, how to install SPSS software and ways to operate SPSS software from prerequisite testing to hypothesis testing in educational research.  The stages of this activity consist of the preparation stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. The results achieved in the in outline students are able to understand the concepts, theories, and functions of SPSS, and students were able to perform data processing using the SPSS application. The conclusion from the results of this service is that students can understand concepts related to SPSS and how to do data analysis. Student response to activities is good. With a percentage level of understanding of the material at 72.5%, motivation at 77.5%, time allocation at 70.5% with good criteria, and an assessment of the speaker's performance at 86% with very good criteria.
