Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the level of farmers’ participation, the factors associated with the level of farmers’ participation and the relationship between the level of farmers’ participation and the success of the program.  Data of this research were collected in February-March 2018.  The respondents are 66 rice farmers members of farmer groups joining the program who are chosen randomly  The research is a survey and data are analyzed using Rank Spearman and descriptively.  The results showed that the level of farmers’ participation is in a low catergory.  Factors related to the level of farmers’ participation in PUPM program are farmers’ knowledge on the program, frequency of their participation in extension activities, and level of farmers’ cosmopolitan character.  There is a significant relationship between farmers’ participation and the success of PUPM program in Palas Subdistrict of South Lampung Regency. Abstract

 The attributes used in the previous studies of the restaurant consumer satisfaction were very varied.  Therefore, this study aims to identify the attributes of the consumer satisfaction and service forthe processed chicken restaurants in Bandar Lampung.  The data was collected in September-October 2015.  The technique used for sampling was accidental sampling in which  data from 60 respondents were the scores for the attributes of satisfaction and service. Moreover, the data were tested by using the validity and reliability tests. The next step is gathering the data of attributes from 60 respondents of two processed chicken restaurants. The analysis methods used were descriptive analysis, validity and reliability test and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). The research showed that the attributes identified were taste, price, menu diversity, nutrition, suitability menu, consistency of service time, comfort, service speed,hospitality,responsiveness of suggestion, fairness of service,accuracy of writing order, ease of payment, cleanliness of restaurant, waitress’ understanding of the products, cashier thoroughness, completeness of cutlery, location, parking area, security of parking, air conditioning, wastafel, toilet, mosque and entertainment.  The attributes of customer satisfaction and service restaurants that have been identified can be applied processed chicken in the city of Bandar Lampung, but the accuracy attribute accuracy of writing order, park security of parking, wastafel, mosque, and parking area needs to be improved by the restaurant.Key words: attributes, consumer satisfaction,validity and reliabilty test, serviceThe attributes used in the previous studies of the restaurant consumer satisfaction were very varied.  Therefore, this study aims to identify the attributes of the consumer satisfaction and service forthe processed chicken restaurants in Bandar Lampung.  The data was collected in September-October 2015.  The technique used for sampling was accidental sampling in which  data from 60 respondents were the scores for the attributes of satisfaction and service. Abstract

This research aims to determine the availability of processed snacks in elementary school in Bandar Lampung, students’ decision maker to consume the processed snacks and their consumption behavior, and analyze the differentiation of the students in consuming processed snacks, based on gender and nutritional status. This research is done in Kartika II-5 Elementary school and Rawa Laut 1 Elementary School.  The research data is collected from November 2014-March 2015 by survey method.  The research samples are 57 elementary school student of grade 4 and 13 food merchants.  The data is analyzed by descriptive analysis and Mann Whitney test.  The result showed that the availabilty of the processed snacks based on  nutrition contens  was not available enough.  There were30 kinds processed snacks in Kartika II-5 Elementary School and 15 kinds in Rawa Laut 1 Elementary School, that were available as the main meal and snack food.  The processed snacks made of carbohydrates source as majority of the raw materials, such as rice, flour, tapioca flour, corn and cassava.  The decision maker in consuming processed snacks was the student itself.  The processed snacks that were consumed by the students were mie instan, cireng, siomai, pempek and bakso tusuk.  Iinstant noodle was the most favorite food consumed by the students.  The average consumption frequency of each processed snacks were 3-6 times/month and the eating average per month of instant noodle, “cireng”, “siomai”, “pempek” and “bakso tusuk” were 440.70 grams; 324.21 grams; 1,056.14 grams; 466.67 grams and 137.54 grams respectively.  There was significant difference between the consumption of “siomai” by male and female students.  Male students tended to consume siomai 1,715 times more, than female students. Abstract

The purposes of this research are to analyze farmer’s perception in Upsus Pajale Program, to find out the factors related with farmer’s perception in Upsus Pajale Program, effectiveness of farmer groups on Upsus Pajale Program, and the relationship between the perception and the effectiveness in implementation of Upsus Pajale Program in Banjar Baru.  This research was conducted in Banjar Baru subdistrict, Tulang Bawang district with 67 respondents of rice farmers following the Program. Data were collected using a suvey method with descriptive analysis and use nonparametric statistics test rank Spearman correlation to examine the hypotesis.  The results showed that farmer’s perception in Upsus Pajale Program is included in the profitable calssification, the factors related are education, motivation, social environment and the support of government agencies, while the unrelated factor is knowledge level. The effectiveness of farmer group is in effective category and farmer’s perception is related with farmer group effectiveness.Key words: farmer group effectiveness, farmer’s perceptions, Upsus Pajale Program

Abstract

This research aims to identify and analyze the performance of pineapple farmer group members, their household income, and the correlation between the performance and the income. This research was conducted in Astomulyo village, Punggur subdistrict, Lampung Tengah disrtrict, from Desember 2015 to March 2016. The research is  a survey method using a quantitative approach. Respondents were 77 farmers, members of 11 pineapple farmer groups. The samples were determined using allocation proportional random sampling technique. The data collection was done by interviews and observation. The results showed that: 1) the performance of pineapple farmer group members is catergorized in a high classification, 2) the average household  income  of  pineapple  farmer  group members  is Rp66,597,177.00 per year, and 3) there is e significant correlation between the performance of members of  pineapple farmer groups and the household income level. Key words: farmer group, performance, revenue

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the decision-making process on the vegetables food choise, the pattern of processed vegetables consumption, and factors that affected the amount of vegetables consumption among households (HH) at Gisting Atas Village. This research was conducted by survey method. Location of this research was determined purposively at Gisting Atas Village Gisting Subdistrict of Tanggamus district. The amount of research samples was as many as 65 HH who were selected by simple random sampling. The data was collected in month of April 2018. The result showed that HH decision making on processed local food consisted of introduction needs, seeking information, evaluation of the alternative, selection and consumption decision, post-selection evaluation. Cabbage and kale vegetables were the most consumed vegetables in which frequency was in sufficient category. The level of education and nutrition knowledge of housewives significantly influenced the amount of vegetables consumption.Key words: consumtion pattern, decision making, vegetables consumption

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to know the factors that associated with the level of farmer participation in UP2PJK program in Seputih Raman Subdistrict and the relationship between the level of farmer participation in UP2PJK program and rice productivity.  Data of this research was collected on Agustus-September 2016.  The respondents of this research were 83 of rice farmers who were choosen by simple random sampling method.  The analytical methods used in this research were descriptive and quantitative methods.  The result of this research shows that associating factors with the level of farmer participation in  UP2PJK program were knowledge of the program, frequency of  following extension activity, farmer motivation, and  level of cosmopolitness. There was no relationship between the level of farmer participation and productivity of rice in UP2PJK program in Seputih Raman Subdistrict Central Lampung Regency.Key words: participation, productivity, program

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to examine participation level of farmer group members, farmer group dynamics, rice production increase, and the relationship between the the participation, group dynamics and rice production increase in Cintamulya Village, Candipuro District, South Lampung Regency.  Respondents in this study were 85 farmers. The study was conducted in August - September 2017.  The research method used was a survey method using a quantitative descriptive analysis method.  The relationship among variables are analyzed using nonparametric statistics Spearman rank correlation test.  The results showed that the participation rate of farmer group members is in a low category, group dynamics is in less dynamic category, and increase production is included in a low category.  There are significant relationships between the level of participation of members of farmer groups and farmer group dynamics, the level of participation and production increase, and group dynamics and production increase.  Key words: group dynamics, production increase, participation

Abstract

The study aims to analyze consumer attitudes, consumer satisfaction and the influence of consumer attitudes and satisfaction to the purchase of satay. Data were collected in June–July 2018. The research location is determined purposively with the consideration that the LWS and HJA Restaurants were established in the same year but they have different business development. There are 60 respondents collected using accidental sampling. The analytical methods used are Fishbein Multi-attribute Analysis and Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI). The results showed that consumers of LWS and HJA Restaurants have attitude of trust in products and service attributes. Consumers feel very satisfied with the purchase of satay at LWS and HJA Restaurants. The majority of consumers kept buying satay at LWS and HJA Restaurants even though the price of satay increased. Key words: attitude, consumer satisfaction, satay
