Abstract

ABSTRACTThe lack of interest and students motivation to study biology lead them to get low achievement. This case can see from the students average learning outcomes of biology at SMPN 38 Sijunjung grade seven which gotten score below the Minimum Completeness Criteria (MCC). One of reason is the lack variation of the strategy by the teacher, therefore learning process is monotonous. To solve this problem need to apply the strategy that can make students be active and get motivation in learning process. This research has purpose to know the effect the by using implementation Scrambled Groups strategy on students learning outcomes of biology at SMPN 38 Sijunjung grade seven academic year 2012/2013. This research is experiment. The population is students grade seven at SMPN 38 Sijunjung that listed in the academic year 2012/2013 which consists of two classes. Both of these classes were sampled (saturated sampling), to determine experimental class and control class conducted the draw, which was chosen to be experimental is class VII1 and control class is VII2. The instrument used was a test. Student learning outcomes and obtained an average value of 77,23 experimental class and control class 67,72. Data analysis was to test the similarity of the two premises mean t-test at the 0.05 significance level. Based on the analysis of data obtained the price 2,03 tcount 1.67 ttable. This means that tcount > ttable, therefore the hypothesis is accepted. Therefore the implementation of Scrambled Groups strategy can improve the learning outcomes of students in biology at SMPN 38 Sijunjung grade seven academic year 2012/2013.

Abstract

Teachers carry out practical activities not yet using practicum guides. Practical activities carried out by teachers have tended to only provide instruction. This is because the school does not yet have a practical guidebook. Difficulties are also faced by students, because students do not know what practical activities will be carried out and cause a lack of preparation of students in practicing. This study aims to produce a practical guide based on Collaborative Teamwork Learning on life organization system material for class VII students in SMP in Bonjol Subdistrict, Pasaman Regency, which is valid. The type of development research (Develpomental research), the development model in the form of a descriptive procedural model which outlines the steps that must be followed to produce the product. The data collection technique used was a validation sheet questionnaire. The validity of the Collaborative Teamwork Learning practicum test conducted by material experts and media experts from the validation results obtained a percentage value based on aspects of didactic requirements 83.33%, aspects of construct requirements 84.72%, aspects of technical requirements 82.29% and aspects of language requirements is 89.58%. The overall validity test results obtained a percentage value of 84.98% with valid criteria. based on the results of the validity test the practicum guide analysis developed was valid for use in practical activities.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to reveal the influence of Think Pair Share cooperative learning model and initial ability on learning outcomes biology class VIII of SMPN 38 Sijunjung. This was a Quasi Experimental research which used 2 x 2 factorial design. The population of the research was the students in class VIII os SMPN 38 Sijunjung in academic year 2015/2016. By using saturated sampling technique, class VIII1 was chosen as the experimental class and class VIII2 was as the control class. The instruments of the research were posttest which was intended to identify the students’ learning outcomes. The results of the research revealed that (1) Think Pair Share cooperative learning model exerted an influence upon learning outcomes of the students having either high or low initial ability, (2) there was no interaction between Think Pair Share cooperative learning model and the students’ initial ability toward the students’ learning outcomes in Biology.

This was a Quasi Experimental research which used 2 x 2 factorial design. The population of the research was the students in class VIII os SMPN 38 Sijunjung in academic year 2015/2016. By using saturated sampling technique, class VIII1 was chosen as the experimental class and class VIII2 was as the control class. Instrument used in this research is observation sheet filled by observer to see student affective competence. The results of the research revealed that Think Pair Share cooperative learning model exerted an influence upon affective competence of the students having either high or low initial ability.

Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini berlatar belakang penerapan pembelajaran daring di masa pandemi. Tujuan penelitian ini guna menggambarkan implementasi dan adanya hambatan ketika melaksanakan sistem pendidikan berbasis online yang diterapkan pada masa pandemi, terutama dari sisi peserta didik. Penelitian ini digunakan metode studi literatur dengan pengumpulan data berupa pengisian rubric dan dengan melacak berbagai sumber data yang mengandung pembahasan terkait dengan fokus masalah yang diteliti atau biasa disebut studi kepustakaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Solusi pembelajaran dimasa pandemi ini adalah pembelajaran dengan media daring. Terdapat beberapa hambatan terkait penerapan pembelajaran daring pada saat pandemi, baik hambatan dari segi sarana dan prasarana pendukung hinggga akses informasi yang tersedia. Kata Kunci: pembelajaran dalam jaringan, pemahaman mahasiswa, pandemi Covid-19

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media video animasi pembelajaran Biologi berbasis daring materi sistem pencernaan manusia yang valid dan praktis. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan. Model yang digunakan adalah model R&D, yang prosedurnya terdiri atas: :(1) Pengumpulan informasi, (2) Perencanaan, (3) Pengembangan format produk, (3) Uji coba, (5) Revisi produk. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII yang mengikuti proses pembelajaran Biologi di SMP Negeri 2 Kapur IX tahun pelajaran 2021/2022 yaitu berjumlah sebanyak 23 siswa. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi dan lembar praktikalitas. Diperoleh data validasi video animasi tingkat persentase 89% dengan predikat “Sangat valid”. Media pembelajaran video animasi dinyatakan praktis setelah dilakukan pengolahan data hasil penelitian yang diperoleh dari angket uji praktikalitas sehingga diperoleh hasil persentase senilai 81% oleh guru dan persentase senilai 87 % oleh siswa dengan kategori “Sangat Praktis”.

Abstract

This study aims to describe how the planning, implementation, and assessment of the implementation of character education in learning Biologi in Class X SMA Negeri 1 South Solok. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. Collection techniques used in this study are, document analysis, observation, documentation interviews, and recording techniques. The instruments used in this study were observation guide grids, syllabus document analysis and lesson plans, interviews, and documentations. The entire data obtained is then analyzed through several stages (1) data reduction, (2) data display, (3) data verification. The results of the discussion show that 1) planning for the implementation of character education in biologic learning in class X SMA Negeri 1 South Solok contained in the syllabus and lesson plan has been implemented based on what has been planned by both biologic teachers and found the values of character education; 2) the implementation of character education implementation in learning has beeiologi n implemented based on the learning process activities that take place and found the character values, namely: preliminary activities (religious values, discipline, tolerance, curiosity, knowing, responsibility, friendly/communicative, and love peace). Core activities: (fond of reading, curiosity, friendly communicative, independent, hard work, creative, honest, tolerance, discipline, responsibility, and peace of mind. Closing activities:) religious, independent, responsibility, and curiosity); 3) Evaluation of the implementation of character education in biologic learning in class X SMA Negeri 1 South Solok that the teacher has implemented the values of character education by conducting an observation assessment during the learning process.

Abstract

Learning media is an important component in the teaching and learning process. The use of media in learning can generate new desires and interests, increase motivation and stimulation of learning activities. One media that is suitable for animal kingdom material is mind maps. Kingdom animalia has a lot of material and explanations and branches so it is suitable to be described using a mind map. This research is development research that uses 4-D, which consists of the define, design, develop and disseminate stages. The research subjects were students of SMAN 1 Airpura class X MIPA. This research data is primary data consisting of validation, teacher practicality, and student practicality. Validation and practicality data were analyzed in the form of percentages. Based on the research carried out, a PowerPoint-based mindmap based on Animal Kingdom material that is valid and practical was produced. The validation value of the Powerpointplex-based mindmap for the animal kingdom material developed was 88%. For the practicality test by the teacher on the PowerPoint-based mindmap, the animal kingdom material developed was very practical with a score of 94%. The practicality test by students in stage I (limited test) obtained very practical results with a score of 91% and for the stage II test (field test) the results were very practical with a score of 86%.
