Abstract

This study aims to understand, analyze, and describe the Ummi method developed at MI Integral Al-Ukhuwwah Banjang, namely the implementation of the Ummi method at MI Integral Al-Ukhuwwah and the quality of Al-Quran reading after the Ummi method was applied. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with a case study type. This research data source is divided into two, namely primary data sources and secondary data. Using observation data collection instruments, interviews, and documentation. Research informants namely the Principal, Ummi Coordinator, and Students. The application of learning the Koran using the Ummi method has had a very good impact on improving the quality of reading the Koran at MI Integral Al-Ukhuwwah Banjang.

Abstract

The background of this research is that there are teachers who rarely use lesson plans in the learning process. Having a priori beliefs about how to teach is good enough that it does not develop the various skills that are important to be mastered and used in class. This study aims to analyze teacher awareness of lesson plans in the learning process at MI Miftahul Alim Habau which includes: analysis of teacher awareness of lesson plans and professionalism, teacher understanding in preparing lesson plans, and implementation of the learning process. This study used a quantitative survey method by collecting data by filling out a questionnaire/questionnaire and using a non-test instrument. The object of research is teachers who teach at MI Miftahul Alim Habau. The results of the study indicate that there is a positive relationship between teacher awareness of lesson plans in the learning process. From the data generated it is also stated that there is a need to increase awareness of using lesson plans in the learning process which is prepared in advance with other learning tools before teaching activities begin. The ability to compile and develop lesson plans is only close to a good correlation value.

Abstract

Public schools in Indonesia are still tormented by various problems. One of them is the moral decline among students. Achievements in training, especially learning provided by educators to students, are not only related to the right techniques and strategies, but also related to school and family participation in character learning by directing the students' own mentality. Family participation with teaching units is very important, school units are obliged to support family collaboration and inclusion in encouraging their children's schooling. In this joint effort, of course, the development of one's mentality from an early age by families and schools on the grounds that the perspective or approach of student attitudes that are correct from the start will affect the overall existence of students in the future. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of case study research. The research was conducted at MIN 27 HSU Jingah Bujur Village, Kec. Haur Ivory. Based on the results of different examinations, it shows that participation between families and schools and instilling a mindset from an early age affect the improvement of progress in character education and the achievements of their children.
