Pendidikan Keagamaan Pada Komunitas Anak Jalanan Kota Banjarmasin Tarwilah, Tarwilah

Abstract

The presence of homeless children has been commonly visible in big cities in Indonesia. Children are a gift and trust of God that in them inherent dignity as human must be respected. Children’s rights are part of human rights as contained in the 1945 Constitution, Law No. 39, 1999 on Human Rights, The President Decree of The Republic of Indonesia No. 36, 1990 on the ratification of Convention on the Rights of the Child. The phenomenon of homeless children in Indonesia, especially in big cities such as Banjarmasin, is increasingly complex. This writing is to find out how the religious education takes part in the homeless children’s everyday life in Banjarmasin.Keywords: homeless children, children’s rights, religious educationKeberadaan anak jalanan sudah lazim kelihatan pada kota-kota besar di Indonesia. Anak merupakan karunia Allah dan amanah yang dalam dirinya melekat harkat dan martabat sebagai manusia yang harus dijunjung tinggi. Hak asasi anak merupakan bagian dari hak asasi manusia sebagaimana yang tercantum dalam UUD 1945, Undang-Undang Nomor 39 tahun 1999 tentang Hak Asasi Manusia, dan Keputusan Presiden RI Nomor 36 tahun 1990 tentang pengesahan Convention of the Right of the Child (Konvensi tentang Hak-hak Anak). Fenomena anak jalanan di Indonesia, khususnya di kota-kota besar seperti Banjarmasin sudah semakin kompleks. Tulisan ini ingin mengetahui bagaimana pendidikan keagamaan pada anak jalanan di kota Banjarmasin.Kata kunci: anak jalanan, hak asasi anak, pendidikan keagamaan.

Abstract

Characters are the values of human behavior associated with the One Almighty God, ourselves, our fellow human beings, our environment and nation which are embodied in our mind, attitudes, feelings, words and actions based on legal norms, manners, culture and customs. Extracurricular activities are one of the parts of the student development program as an effort in improving the quality of education. In the 2013 curriculum, extracurricular activities are positioned as curriculum operational devices (supplements and complements) which include the religious extracurricular activities.Among the character values that can be developed through religious extracurricular activities are: religious values, honesty, tolerance, discipline, perseverance, creativity, independence, democratic, curiosity, the spirit of nationalism and patriotism, and responsibility.Keywords: Characters, extracurricular, religiousKarakter merupakan nilai-nilai perilaku manusia yang berhubungan dengan Tuhan YME, diri sendiri, sesama manusia, lingkungan dan kebangsaan yang terwujud dalam pikiran, sikap, perasaan, perkataan dan perbuatan berdasarkan norma-norma hukum, tata krama, budaya dan adat istiadat. Kegiatan ekstrakurikuler merupakan bagian dari program pembinaan kesiswaan, termasuk kelompok bidang peningkatan mutu pendidikan. Dalam kurikulum 2013, kegiatan ekstrakurikuler diposisikan sebagai perangkat operasional (supplement dan complements) kurikulum, termasuk di dalamnya adalah kegiatan ekstrakurikuler keagamaan. Semua nilai-nilai karakter dapat dikembangkan melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler keagamaan, di antaranya: nilai religius, karakter kejujuran, karakter toleransi, karakter disiplin, karakter kerja keras, karakter kreatif, karakter mandiri, karakter demokratis, karakter rasa ingin tahu, karakter semangat kebangsaan dan cinta tanah air, dan karakter tanggung jawab. Abstract

This article discusses the concept of child development psychology as the basis of Islamic education. Child development psychology is a science that studies how children grow and develop physically, cognitively, linguistically, socially, and emotionally from conception to adulthood. A deep understanding of child development psychology is a very important foundation in Islamic education. So this study aims to explore the concept of child development psychology, analyze educational psychology in Islam, and collect data on child education from a psychological perspective. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach, and the theory used includes the concept of child development psychology as the basis of Islamic education. This study emphasizes the importance of an educator understanding child development psychology because it is the key to creating an optimal learning environment for each child. By applying the principles of developmental psychology, educators can help children grow into whole, intelligent, and well-characterized individuals. The results of the study show that the concept of child development psychology has a very important role in Islamic education. By understanding how children grow and develop, educators can create a conducive learning environment to help children achieve their best potential, both intellectually, socially, and spiritually.

Abstract

Internalization of self-confidence character in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning as implemented by SMPN 6, SMPN 23, and SMP IT Nurul Fikri Banjarmasin is by using cooperative learning methods, namely lecture, question and answer methods, discussions, assignments, demonstrations, and sociodramas. All of these methods involve students actively, including in expressing opinions, asking questions and discussing in learning, so that good communication is established between students and students and students and teachers. Through this process, students' self-confidence character is formed, such as the growth of mutual respect, respect for the opinions of other friends, discipline, and students' self-confidence in conveying ideas and concepts, and being straightforward in conveying opinions when discussing or communicating the results of their work and ideas to teachers and friends. Internalization of students' self-confidence character in co-curricular and extracurricular activities at school also helps in forming students' self-confidence. Internalization of self-confidence character through co-curricular activities for students, namely giving students roles in flag ceremony activities, joint tadarus activities, AKSI which displays various student talents and skills, joint tadarus, the Qur'an recitation, reading of Maulid Habsyi and Commemoration of Islamic Holidays, public speaking, graphic design, gardening, and futsal.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Perpustakaan diselenggarakan oleh pemerintah sebagai lembaga yang mendukung keberhasilan instansi yang menaunginya. Keberadaan perpustakaan pada dasarnya bertujuan untuk menunjang terlaksananya fungsi dari pendidikan nasional. Dalam hubungannya dengan hal tersebut perpustakaan memiliki peran penting dalam menunjang pendidikan karakter khususnya dalam hal mengembangkan sikap gemar membaca. Gemar membaca merupakan kebiasaan menyediakan waktu untuk membaca berbagai bacaan yang memberikan kebaikan bagi dirinya. Namun seiring perkembangan teknologi akhir-akhir ini memberikan dampak yang besar terhadap peran perpustakaan dalam mengembangakan minat baca masyarakat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran perpustakaan UIN Antasari Banjarmasin dalam mengembangkan sikap gemar membaca mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Perpustakaan UIN Antasari memiliki peran aktif dalam mengembangkan sikap gemar membaca mahasiswa, terbukti dari tanggung jawab yang besar terhadap meningkatnya minat baca mahasiswa UIN Antasari. Pustakawan benar-benar menjalankan tugas sebagai pengelola informasi untuk menyediakan informasi yang menarik, bermanfaat, dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan pemustaka sehingga pemustaka menjadi gemar membaca informasi yang ada di perpustakaan. Kata Kunci: Peran, Perpustakaan Perguruan Tinggi, Gemar Membaca
