Abstract

Truncated spline nonparametric regression is a nonparametric regression analysis using a segmented polynomial model. This segmented nature provides flexibility so that the regression model can adapt more effectively to the local characteristics of the data. The purpose of this study was to obtain a regression model and determine the factors that influence the Human Development Index (HDI) in all provinces in Indonesia using multivariable truncated spline nonparametric regression. The Human Development Index is an important indicator in measuring success in efforts to build the quality of human life. The Human Development Index can determine the rank or level of development of a region and a country. In development, a high Human Development Index is something that is expected to be achieved, especially for developing countries. The Human Development Index data used in this study is based on BPS data published in 2020 from all provinces in Indonesia. In this study, based on the results of the analysis, the best nonparametric truncated spline regression was obtained using 1 knot point, 2 knot point and 3 knot point. Based on the minimum Generalized Cross Validation (GCV) value, the best truncated spline regression model is 3 knots with an R2 value of 83.70%. Abstract

Laju pertumbuhan penduduk dan umur harapan hidup merupakan indikator penting untu meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Kedua indikator ini penting untuk memahami kualitas hidup, dinamika penduduk, dan tingkat kesehatan masyarakat. Peneltian ini dilakukan karena relevansinya dengan kebutuhan untuk memahami hubungan antara variabel-variabel, sehingga dapat memberikan informasi yang lebih dalam merancang kebijakan pembangunan berbasis data serta dapat meningkatkan tingkat kesejahteraan masyarakat Provinsi Jambi. Analisis korelasi kanonik dipilih karena metode ini memungkinkan untuk menganalisis dan memahami hubungan multivariat dari dua set variabel yang kompleks. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang dilakukan, fungsi kanonik yang dihasilkan sebanyak dua fungsi dimana fungsi kanonik pertama yang memiliki hubungan yang kuat dan signiikan antara set variabel dan set variabel ,. Secara keseluruhan, dari analisis korelasi kanonik terlihat bahwa indikator laju pertumbuhan ekonomi, tingkat partisipasi angkatan kerja, persentase penduduk miskin, dan kepadatan penduduk memiliki kontribusi dalam mempengaruhi laju pertumbuhan penduduk dan umur harapan hidup di Provinsi Jambi.

Abstract

Children with intellectual disabilities who have limitations and deficiencies in terms of intelligence also have the right to receive education. One of the education provided to children with intellectual disabilities is in the form of a special self-development program with the aim of fostering children's independence. Moderate intellectual disabilities have limitations in the ability to care for themselves, take care of themselves, help themselves, life skills, etc. The research method in this study uses a descriptive qualitative approach research method, while the data collection process in this study uses observation, interview, and documentation techniques. This research was conducted on Monday, December 4, 2023 at 08.00 to 12.00 WIB. The location of the research was carried out at the SLB-E Negeri Pembina, North Sumatra Province, precisely in class XI-1C. The learning strategy for ABK with intellectual disabilities is of course we choose a learning strategy that suits them, because ABK with intellectual disabilities must carry out learning with an individual approach if now using the independent curriculum, actually ABK with intellectual disabilities have been independent learning for a long time. The direct introduction learning strategy for children with special needs and mental retardation is quite effective and can be used as an alternative for children with special needs and mental retardation in carrying out their learning activities.

Abstract

The agriculture and fisheries sectors are the 2 main sectors that support increasing food security in Indonesia. A new breakthrough that combines both sectors is the aquaponic cultivation system. This community service activity aims to utilize abandoned pools in the RT. 13, Damai Baru Village, Balikpapan, has become aquaponic cultivation to help the local community meet household food needs. The methods used are location surveys, problem identification, partner coordination, program outreach, creation of aquaponic cultivation ponds, and evaluation. The series of transformations carried out include designing, cleaning and increasing the size of the pool (length, width, and depth), adding a protective roof and hydroponic pipes, spreading fish seeds and water spinach, and educating on aquaponic maintenance. The resulting pond transformation has a size of 3.2 x 1.8 x 1.5 meters and 48 hydroponic planting holes. The aquaponic cultivation used is a combination of catfish and water spinach.
