This study aims to explore the relationship between seizures and developmental delays in children aged 1-5 years. Purpose: To analyze the impact of seizures on developmental delays in toddlers. Method: A systematic review that refers to the Preferred Reporting Items for Literature Review and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA) using the PICOS framework. Journal article searches were sourced from Google Scholar, PubMed/NCBI, BioMed Central (BMC) databases published in 2006-2024 in English and Indonesian. The keywords used were “Seizures In Toddlers AND Child Developmental Delay”. Researchers found 29.490 articles, after selection, 7 articles were obtained to be reviewed using JBI Quality Appraisal. Results: The 7 selected results indicate that children with a history of seizures are at a higher risk of experiencing delays in cognitive, motor, and language development. The impact varies depending on the frequency and type of seizures experienced, as well as the age at which the first seizure occurs. Monitoring development and early intervention are crucial in mitigating the negative effects of seizures on child development.
