Abstract

This study examines the development strategies for Al-Qur'an and Hadith learning management at MIS Bidayatul Hidayah 2 Percut Sei Tuan, focusing on the effectiveness, challenges, and areas for improvement in delivering Islamic religious education. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis involving teachers, administrators, and students. The findings reveal that the structured lesson plans, interactive activities, and weekly assessments used by the school effectively engage students in understanding and memorizing Quranic verses and Hadith. However, challenges such as limited teaching resources, inadequate teacher training, and inconsistent parental involvement were identified as barriers to the program’s full potential. The study also highlights the potential for technology integration to enhance learning experiences and the importance of consistent evaluation to track both academic and behavioral progress. Addressing these challenges through improved resource allocation, enhanced training opportunities, stronger community partnerships, and technology use can further strengthen Al-Qur'an and Hadith learning at MIS Bidayatul Hidayah 2, fostering a deeper understanding of Islamic teachings among students.

Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of the Islamic character education management system at MTs Darul Ilmi Batang Kuis, focusing on its impact, challenges, and areas for improvement. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach, involving semi-structured interviews, observations, and document analysis to gather insights from administrators, teachers, and students directly involved in the character education program. Findings indicate that the program has been effective in instilling core Islamic values such as honesty, respect, and responsibility, attributed to teacher role modeling, curriculum integration, and engaging activities. However, challenges such as limited resources, inconsistent teacher commitment, time constraints, and limited parental involvement affect the program’s consistency and depth. Key areas for improvement include enhanced teacher training, structured curriculum adjustments, increased parental engagement, and the development of a monitoring system to track students' progress in character development. The study concludes that while the program positively impacts student character, addressing these challenges can further enhance the effectiveness of Islamic character education at MTs Darul Ilmi Batang Kuis, contributing to the cultivation of morally grounded individuals aligned with Islamic principles.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru di SMA Al-Washliyah I Medan, mendeskripsikan kondisi kinerja guru, serta mengidentifikasi faktor penghambat dan pendukung pelaksanaan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif, data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara interaktif melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan.?? Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah berperan sebagai pemimpin, manajer, supervisor, administrator, inovator, dan motivator dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru melalui pembinaan, pengarahan, supervisi kelas, penguatan disiplin, dan komunikasi efektif. Kinerja guru secara umum baik, namun masih terdapat ketidaksesuaian pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan RPP serta kurangnya variasi metode; faktor pendukung meliputi pelatihan dan kebijakan sekolah, sementara penghambat mencakup keterbatasan sarana dan motivasi guru. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah signifikan, tetapi memerlukan fasilitas dan komitmen guru untuk optimalisasi.??

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak pembelajaran berbasis nilai dalam Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) terhadap akhlak siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 1 Patumbak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif analisis. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik statistik regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara pembelajaran berbasis nilai dalam PAI dengan akhlak siswa, dengan nilai korelasi sebesar 0,468 yang termasuk kategori hubungan sedang. Koefisien determinasi menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis nilai berkontribusi sebesar 21,9% terhadap pembentukan akhlak siswa, sementara sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar variabel penelitian. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya integrasi nilai-nilai moral dan keagamaan dalam proses pembelajaran untuk membentuk karakter dan akhlak siswa yang lebih baik. Penelitian ini juga merekomendasikan perlunya inovasi metode pembelajaran dan sinergi antara sekolah, keluarga, dan masyarakat untuk mengoptimalkan hasil pendidikan karakter di sekolah.

Abstract

Islamic studies play a crucial role in establishing a scientific foundation that emphasizes not only intellectual aspects but also the moral and spiritual development of humankind. This research is motivated by the need to re-understand the essence of Islamic studies as a discipline capable of contributing to the development of modern science without losing Islamic values. In the context of globalization and technological advancement, the urgency of Islamic studies is increasingly prominent, as it can serve as an ethical and spiritual foundation for the development of civilized science. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with a literature review as the primary method. Data were collected through an analysis of various scientific literature, journals, and academic works relevant to the theme of integrating Islamic science and values. An in-depth analysis was conducted to identify the relationship between the objectives of Islamic studies and their contributions to the development of science and the character formation of Muslim scientists. The results show that Islamic studies serve as a means of integrating religious and general sciences, emphasizing a balance between rationality and spirituality. This study also contributes to the development of a scientific paradigm oriented toward human welfare and moral sustainability. In conclusion, Islamic studies have strategic urgency in the context of modern science because they can guide its development so that it remains grounded in the values of monotheism, justice, and humanity.
