Abstract

The development of information technology has had a big influence on regional languages. Corpus data stored digitally will be very important in the future. One of the benefits of using corpus data in language analysis is that it can facilitate the process of identifying the most commonly used words or phrases in a language. Currently there are no data analysis results from the Simalungun Batak language corpus that can be utilized by the observers and there is a lack of research on the Simalungun Batak language corpus. This research aims to preserve and increase the resources of the Simalngun Batak language which is implemented in developing a web-based corpus of the Simalungun Batak regional language using the rapid application development method and can later be used by the Pekamus to compile a Simalungun Batak language dictionary. The final result is a website that can analyze the Simalungun regional language and with this website, the observers will easily analyze words from the Batak Simalungun regional language.

Abstract

Information technology is required to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in various operational and service aspects. The research goal is to facilitate employees in submitting IT device maintenance requests and to facilitate IT service administrators at the North Sulawesi Provincial Statistics. The method used is the Extreme Programming method. The Extreme Method Programming has several stages, including planning, system design, coding, and testing. The prepared Management System IT can easily facilitate the employees of BPS North Sulawesi Province to simplify by monitoring and managing IT-related issues and resolving problems related to the manual reporting of goods.

Abstract

The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) is important in providing high-quality statistical data to various parties. The demand for accurate and timely data is increasing in this digital era. This research aims to develop a Website-Based Statistical Data Service System (SIPEDAS) application using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method to speed up design and ensure the system meets user needs. The RAD method consists of four stages in application development: requirements planning, system design, development process, and implementation. Data collection was conducted through interviews with mentors and sourcing data from the BPS WebAPI. Following these stages can produce an application that meets user expectations. After testing, it can be concluded that this application makes it easier for users to search for information, news, infographics, and publications needed without having to visit the North Sulawesi BPS Office directly.

Abstract

Kota Tomohon memiliki beragam destinasi wisata yang tersebar di berbagai lokasi. Dengan adanya media sosial, setiap destinasi wisata dapat lebih mudah menarik minat wisatawan untuk mengunjungi tempat tersebut. Namun, akibat pengaruh media sosial, beberapa destinasi wisata menjadi kurang populer dibandingkan dengan destinasi yang baru dan sedang tren. Hal ini membuat wisatawan cenderung lebih memilih berkunjung ke tempat wisata yang sedang populer dan mulai meninggalkan destinasi wisata yang sudah lama ada. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan aplikasi berbasis website untuk mencari lokasi destinasi wisata yang memberikan informasi tentang destinasi terdekat dari lokasi wisatawan. Pengukuran jarak antara lokasi wisatawan dan destinasi wisata terdekat dilakukan menggunakan algoritma Haversine. Dengan algoritma Haversine, aplikasi ini memberikan tiga rekomendasi destinasi wisata terdekat berdasarkan kategori yang dipilih oleh wisatawan. Aplikasi ini menampilkan informasi nama tempat, jarak, dan rute menuju destinasi wisata yang dipilih oleh wisatawan, memudahkan penemuan destinasi terdekat tanpa harus terpaku pada tempat yang sedang populer di media sosial. Abstract

UMKM adalah singkatan dari Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah. Pada dasarnya UKM adalah usaha atau badan usaha yang dikendalikan oleh perorangan, kelompok, usaha kecil atau rumah tangga. Oleh karena itu, sangat penting bagi calon UKM atau seluruh pengusaha UMKM untuk memiliki pemahaman yang baik Perkembangan UMKM di Indonesia terus meningkat dari segi kualitasnya, hal ini dikarenakan dukungan kuat dari pemerintah dalam pengembangan yang dilakukan kepada para pegiat usaha UMKM, yang mana hal tersebut sangat penting dalam mengantisipasi kondisi perekonomian ke depan serta menjaga dan memperkuat struktur perekonomian nasional. Hasil keluaran dari simulasi ini yaitu menunjukkan beberapa informasi yang meliputi jumlah klaster, jumlah anggota di setiap klaster, data mana saja yang menjadi anggota setiap klasternya serta titik pusat (centroid) setiap klasternya dimana dari 6988 umkm sebulum normalisasi data terdapat 32 umkm berdasarkan Hasil Cluster dengan Algoritma K-means terdapat 5 kelompok jumlah jenis usaha.Yaitu Cluster 1 (13.733),Cluster 2(19),Cluster 3(18.500),Cluster 4(16.700) dan Cluster 5(0.500).

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas membahas penerapan clustering dalam pengembangan aplikasi peta lokasi rawan bencana untuk kota tomohon berbasis web dengan menggunakan metode Distance-Based Clustering. Dengan memanfaatkan sistem informasi geografis (GIS) Leaflet, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemetaan dan analisis wilayah yang rentan terhadap bencana seperti banjir, gempa bumi, kebakaran, longsor dan pohon tumbang di Kota Tomohon, selain itu pendekatan berbasis web diterapkan untuk meningkatkan aksesibilitas dan interaktivitas pengguna terhadap informasi bencana. Metode Distance-Based diperlukan untuk mengelompokkan area-area dengan tipe atau jenis bencana yang serupa,dan serta memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang pola rawan bencana di Kota Tomohon. Aplikasi Ini tidak hanya bertujuan untuk mendukung perencanaan mitigasi resiko tetapi juga memberikan alat yang efektif bagi pihak berwenang dan masyarakat dalam mengambangkan strategi respons dan evakuasi yang lebih optimal. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi yang berarti dalam pemahaman dan manajemen risiko bencana di Kota Tomohon serta menjadi dasar bagi pengembangan sistem serupa di wilayah-wilayah lain dengan tantangan bencana serupa.

Abstract

Online news is a report about an event that is presented online by a news publishing company through an online news portal. Manado News is a news portal that presents news online which is divided into several categories. This study aims to analyze the data on news titles on the Manado News online news portal, Legal and Criminal category, to find out the crimes that are rampant and reported on this news portal. The analysis is carried out by implementing one of the methods in topic modeling, namely Latent Dirichlet Allocation. This method is used to find the topic of discussion in a document with a large capacity and displays the words that appear the most in a topic. The data needed for modeling was obtained by scraping on the online news portal Manado News, with a span of five years, from April 2017 to April 2022. After the data was processed using the Latent Dirichlet Allocation method, one topic of discussion was found, namely conventional crime groups. The topic contains a number of words which are types of crime in the conventional crime category, namely, persecution, theft, murder, stabbing, motor vehicle theft, sexual abuse and liquor.

Abstract

Marinsow Village is one of the emerging tourist destinations in North Sulawesi, with its main attractions being the natural beauty and authentic local culture. Homestays have become a popular accommodation choice for tourists. This study aims to analyze the booking patterns of homestays in Marinsow Village by applying the Apriori algorithm, which is expected to help improve marketing strategies and optimize homestay booking services. The research method used is the prototype method, along with UML (Unified Modeling Language) to assist in system design. The data used in this study includes homestay bookings from August 2023 to May 2024, with a total of 750 transaction records. The analysis results reveal certain booking patterns that have the potential to be utilized in the development of more targeted promotional strategies and the enhancement of homestay services tailored to tourist preferences.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an automatic text summarization system capable of summarizing online news about the General Election Commission (KPU) using the K-Means Clustering algorithm. In the current digital era, online news has become a primary source of information for the public, but the overwhelming amount of available information often makes it difficult for readers to filter and comprehend news efficiently. The low reading interest of the public further exacerbates this issue. Therefore, the automatic text summarization system is expected to provide a solution by helping readers quickly and effectively grasp the essence of the news. The K-Means Clustering algorithm will group sentences in the news into several clusters, which will then be used to create a representative summary. This research also identifies challenges such as the accuracy of the summary and the diversity of language in the news. The implementation of this system is expected to improve readers' time efficiency, provide better access to information, and support increased public participation in the democratic process.

Abstract

Regional languages play an important role in maintaining the cultural identity of a community, but their use is decreasing due to globalization and technological developments. This study aims to preserve the Tontemboan language, a language used by the Tontemboan tribe in Minahasa, through the development of an Android-based learning application using the Extreme Programming (XP) method. The research method used is application development with data collection methods such as interviews and observations, analysis and qualitative data. The results of the study indicate that this application is effective in improving the understanding and use of the Tontemboan language among users. The conclusion of this study is that technology-based learning applications can be an effective tool in preserving regional languages and cultural heritage.
