Abstract

Achieving success, a government agency such as the Sibolga Class IIA Penitentiary which is engaged in fostering community development, must have a good communication strategy and must use the right method so that the coaching carried out can be accepted so that the assisted community after the expiration of their sentence can be accepted back into prison. society and also not to repeat the mistakes made. Fostered People who need appropriate approaches, to change their criminal behavior into human beings with good behavior. The effort needed as an approach is to provide information to humans regarding the meaning in the views and goals of humans living in the world, conveying what is right and what should be done and what is wrong and what cannot be done, using an approach or in this case a communication strategy that is appropriate to the mental condition of the inmates. In general, the purpose of communication is to expect the participation of the communicant on ideas or messages conveyed by the communicator. So that in the process there is a change in attitude and behavior that is expected. The type of research that the authors use in this study is to use a qualitative research approach. Qualitative research according to Sugiyono is a research method that is intended to understand phenomena about what is experienced by research subjects such as behavior, perceptions, motivations, actions, etc., by means of descriptions in the form of words and language, in a special natural context and with take advantage of natural methods. Research Results of Fostered Communities when carrying out coaching activities. And also the Sibolga Class IIA Penitentiary uses several mass media and print media as well as electronic media to convey messages to the Fostered Communities. The status barrier that occurs is that there are still assisted communities who view the status or position of Class IIA Sibolga Penitentiary officers when conveying messages or information, especially to carry out coaching activities so that assisted communities are lazy to take part in coaching activities.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the rapid development of technology in the field of social media so that preachers use it to deliver their da'wah. Youtube is one of the social media that is loved by many people, including the younger generation who use YouTube to find the information they need, including da'wah content. This phenomenon is of concern to the preachers, one of which is ustadz Das'ad Latif, to convey the message of da'wah. The da'wah message he delivered used a distinctive language, the regional language, so that many viewers were happy with the da'wah message he conveyed. The purpose of this study is to find out the contents of Ustadz Das'ad Latif's da'wah messages on the @Das'adLatif YouTube channel. The type of research used is qualitative research, namely research that produces findings that can be achieved by using measurements of both spoken and written words. The subject of this research is the sound of da'wah messages in videos on the YouTube channel @Das'adLatif. The data collection technique for this research uses a descriptive approach by watching and recording video content. Data were analyzed by content analysis method. The results of the study show that in Ustadz Das'ad Latif's Youtube Channel there are three da'wah messages including: Aqidah messages, Sharia messages and Moral messages. The contents of the message examined on Ustadz Das'ad Latif's YouTube channel are the core of the lecture which contains da'wah messages in it. From the categories of messages that have been mentioned there are sub-categories including: messages of aqidah including: faith in Allah, faith in His Angels, faith in His book, faith in His Messenger, faith in the Day of Judgment, faith in making up the qadha and qadar. Shari'ah messages include: worship and muamalah. Moral messages include: morals to God and morals to humans.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the stages of communication strategies and effective communication strategies owned by caregivers at the Tahfidz Mardhthillah Nagari Tabek Patah House, Salimpaung District, Tanah Datar Regency, West Sumatra Province. The research was conducted using descriptive qualitative methods, namely explaining objectively about how communication between caregivers and students improves memorization at the home of Tahfidz Mardhatillah Nagari Tabek Patah, Salimpaung sub-district, Tanah Datar district. in the field then poured into the results and conclusions. The results of the study stated that the communication strategies carried out by the caregivers of the Tahfidz Mardhatillah House included students being required to add their memorization at home, memorization that had been implemented had to be deposited first before students continued their memorization to other parts of the letter, caregivers gave rewards to students who had memorized the good one. In addition, the caregivers also give punishment to students who do not want to add their memorization, namely if:one day does not add sanctions for bowing for 5 minutes, then two days will be sanctioned for bowing for ten minutes, and three days sanctioned for bowing for 15 minutes and so on.

Abstract

This research is based on looking at the ethics of adolescent communication with older people, where communication as a process of exchanging messages from communicators to communicants requires ethics as something that is used as a view and guideline to measure the good and bad deeds according to a habit in society. Communication ethics can be seen from the form of ethics starting a conversation, face-to-face communication and communication techniques used. This type of research is using descriptive qualitative research methods that describe what is about an event. In this study, the author describes the ethical use of adolescent communication focused on older people in Dusun III Padang Sari Jorong Limau Puruik, Kinali District, West Pasaman Regency. In collecting data, the authors used observation, interview and documentation techniques with informants related to the application of communication ethics between adolescents and older people in Dusun III Padang Sari.The results of the study were the use of adolescent communication ethics in hamlet III Padang Sari Jorong Limau Puruik, Kinali District, West Pasaman Regency which focused on communication ethics with older people, consisting of communication ethics in starting conversations, teenagers rarely saw the condition of the prospective interlocutor, second, friendly teenagers. and polite to the interlocutor depending on the level of familiarity, third, listening, teenagers are not good at listening especially when given advice. While the ethics of face-to- face communication, first, stay with the other person, teenagers tend to not focus and glance left and right, second, keep the intonation and speed of speech, teenagers use high intonation, the three teenagers often ask questions in the form of asking how they are. The communication technique used by adolescents when communicating with older people is to confirm when they feel they have misunderstood and pay less attention to non-verbal communication well, such as not bowing when walking in front of older people
