Abstract

Currently technology development is very fast therefore for getting information quickly and easily is very basic and urgently needed. Learning application that created presents an interactive material with video animated text and sound. This application is made for making easier to understand the management of airports and aircraft movements on the runway by using software 3Ds Max 2010 and Adobe Flash CS3 so that the learning process becomes active, innovative, creative, effective and fun. Application 3D Animation of airplane movement on Apron and Runway  have been already running well and got the interpretation criteria of 75,6%, this is evidenced from the results of the test by using questionnaires of 30 respondents stated that the application is running properly.

Abstract

Currently, not much o f public didn’t know about the information of data aircraft, the manufacture and type is sample. The aircraft also has registration number which not same between one aircraft with another aircraft. Information retrival of data aircraft can used registrationnumber with developed in an applicationwith take advantage of database and JSON (JavaScript Object Notation). JSON is a data exchange system that ’s easily translated in to the language o f computer or human. Data exchange these give mean make the distribution application base o f webservices. Web services is a system that provide service the another system to share resource. Procces o f made an application with base of web services must suitable with SOA (Service Oriented Architecture), where SOA is a model representation to up model shape which hasdistribution. For Implementation SOA, it can use the language of programming PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor). Tested on six aircraft, indicated o f airport and airline data can to point out that use of database and JSON can be run well. Decided o f internet network is an obtacle to present data.

Abstract

Learning about changes in air flow on jet engines requires a clear understanding because there are parts of the jet engine that work according to their functions and are interconnected. People often have difficulty understanding learning about changes in air flow in the jet engine and also about the brayton cycle. This study aims to make a simulation that explains the changes in air flow in a jet engine with a three-dimensional animated form in order to improve understanding of learning about it. The process of making three-dimensional simulations uses animation modeling techniques, texturing, lighting, editing, and rendering. In modeling and texturing on jet engines following the Brayton cycle. The three-dimensional simulation results show that this simulation can be run by computers with Windows 7 and Windows 8 operating systems, and from the results of user test analysis 80.2% agree that this three-dimensional simulation can be understood and can explain changes in airflow in jet engines.

Abstract

Template matching method is a simple and widely used method to recognize patterns. The weakness of this algorithm is the limited model that will be used as a template as a comparison in the database such as shape, size, and orientation. The Extraction Feature algorithm addresses the problem of template models such as the shape, size, and orientation that exist in the matching template algorithm by mapping the characteristics of the image object to be recognized. Optical character recognition is used to translate characters into digital images into text formats. Its simple implementation makes the template matching method widely used. In this final project discusses the introduction of color in an image to be detected color, this color recognition is not fully successful because of the influence of lightness. The workings of this application take picture is by taking a picture and then the application identifies the color of any existing and will issue results in the form of text percent, with a success rate of 15% and 85% failure when detecting a color.

Abstract

The simulator is a form of imitation of conditions describing a behavior in conformity with the reality in which there is an interaction between the user and the simulation. Simulators are very useful for simulating events that can help the teaching and learning system. The result of this final project is a 3D take off simulator on a desktop-based Boeing 737-300 that serves as a training aid and contains an explanation of Boeing 737-300 take off information. This simulator provides ideal data in the form of weight, take off speed, flap settings and distance data to understand the aircraft performing the V1, VR and V2 processes. The research methods carried out include modeling a Boeing 737-300 aircraft using blueprint, asset modeling, and texturing using Blender 3D software then proceed with the design of simulations using Unity software. Simulation tests include black box testing. The results of the black box testing indicate that all functions of the simulator run according to the Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10 operating system with a 64-bit system. Flight simulator is functioning properly and can show information on the movements and conditions od the aircraft in taking flight in the takeoff phase with weight conditions, the speed at which the aircraft drove on the runway, wind pressure conditions on the runway and flaps that will be arranged in this flight simulator.

Abstract

Digital image was needed us a medium of information that can be transmitted by cable or wireless media. To obtain digital images must use a tool such as a camera. Users can use the camera to get a digital image with the remote sensing method on an object in a particular place. In the daily activities, users can take advantages of the digital image (pictures or video) that are useful for media documentation, monitoring system in somewhere and others. The design of this tool using LS_Y201camera to capture a digital image and wireless as a data transmission media. In this case a wireless media use Ultra High Frequency transmitter and receiver that support for remote sensing. Users run the tool through an application that is connected with a wireless media. This application is designed byDelphi7. Applications and wireless camera was made for simulation media of remote sensing and monitoring system in the blank spot area. The test result of applications and tools that use the Ultra High Frequency (wireless), can be viewed from a computer interface. In this case, the signal strength ofthe transmitter greatly affect the maximum distance that can be taken to make capture process. The test results are as follows: the best results at a distance of 10 meters = 011110102 (12210); distance of 20 meters = 011100112 (11510); distance of 30 meters = 011110102 (12210); distance of 40 meters =011011112 (11110); distance of 50 meters = 011100102 (11410). So the best distance to digital images transmission through a wireless networks are at a distance of 40 meters.

Abstract

With the rapid growth in current technology, academic systems in higher education has been computerized. Academic who has a computerized system is considered more effective. The computerized system has can be used to plan the academic activities of students for taking Strata 1 at the College of Technology Adisutjipto. The system uses Decision Support System (DSS) to give some conditions on Best First Search (BFS) method so that the method can be used in a subsequent advisory list of the best courses in accordance with the terms that have been obtained, which will help students in making academic decisions. Of the BFS method, students are given a solution in the form of a list next semester of courses that can be taken in accordance with the terms obtained from the previous semester in the form of Performance Index and the solution was given until the end of the lecture the student and provides the calculation of the total cost of each semester.

Abstract

One of the methods to improve the understanding of the learner is to use an interactive simulator aircraft by utilizing information and communication technology so as to explain the flight control system and its functions better. Making this simulator using Adobe Photoshop, 3D Studio Max, and 3DRad. The software used to create the interface design, 3D design, as well as as simulator engine. Simulator Extra 300 L aircraft provide convenience to the user to know and understand the control plane fly Extra 300 L.The use of this simulator is more interactive in the delivery of information to the user than an explanation using propsor in video form. This simulator is designed user friendly as well as trials conducted by 30 respondents, the majority of respondents stated that this simulator is good and fit for use as a medium of learning control of an aircraft.

Abstract

Data communication in the internet today is so complex as an example of the speed factor becomes very important in communicating, everyone wants fast data communication services provided in order to maximum. In relation to the application as a communication liaison with client server applications, web service using a data serialization format to transmit the data. Before the data is sent, either fromthe client to the server or vice versa, should be modified in a specific data format beforehand according to the web service is used. Types of data serialization format used in the web service such as XML and JSON. The method used for testing include data serialization method, data measurement method and data parsing method. Data serialization method is used to calculate the time serialization of data from the database to the form of XML and JSON in applications with PHP platform. Data measurement method used to measure the size of the XML and JSON data which based on many fields of data serialization process. Data parsing method is used to calculate the processing time and JSON parsing XML data. Results o f comparative analysis o f XML and JSON in PHP applications using thearchitecture Rest can be concluded that the test result o f the difference in time and time serialization and JSON parsing XML data is influenced by the number o f records, if the number of records the greater the difference in eating time data serialization and parsing the data the greater the time also itcan be concluded that the faster the process JSON serialization and parsing XML data is compared. Testing results o f the JSON data size is smaller than the size of XML. Data exchange using XML format has a size limit of up to 31456.31 KB while JSON XML exceeds the size limit. Testing results on the Internet when the number o f records up to 50,000 data when the data serialization and parsing time data can not be detected in the database.
