Abstract

Instagram is a social media platform for publishing photographic works. Lee Jeffries, one of the most renowned portrait photographers, consistently exposes his works to the general public, including through the social media platform Instagram. His photographic works are considered highly interesting and unique due to their capacity to transmit social messages. Lee Jeffries consistently captures photographs of homeless people worldwide to convey social messages to his audience. This motivates the authors to discuss the meaning of visual messages in Lee Jeffries' works. The study employed a qualitative descriptive approach to analyze the photographs’ composition, color, and symbolic meaning. The results show that the application of symmetrical and asymmetrical compositions and colors for portraits of human faces, especially those of the homeless on urban street corners, produced symbolic meanings, including sadness, emotion, and happiness.Instagram is a social media platform for publishing photographic works. Abstract

UNIQLO, peritel legendaris asal Jepang, sering membina kolaborasi merek dengan berbagai desainer pakaian, figur, atlet, dan merek-merek terkenal sehingga dapat meningkatkan kesadaran target pasar untuk koleksi pakaian kasualnya. Salah satu koleksi yang diproduksi oleh UNIQLO adalah UNIQLO UT (Graphic T-Shirt), yang merupakan koleksi kaos atau pakaian sehari-hari yang terbuat dari bahan katun dengan tampilan visual berupa grafis yang dibuat oleh artis atau brand ternama. Peneliti bertujuan untuk mengetahui konstruksi nilai merek UNIQLO UT melalui kolaborasi artis-merek yang dilakukan pada tahun 2019. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang berpijak pada paradigma konstruktivis, dengan menggunakan analisis semiotika pemasaran Oswald yang melibatkan tiga hal penting. komponen, yaitu tanda, strategi dan nilai merek. Melalui proses kolaborasi yang dilakukan, terlihat kekontrasan antara penyampaian budaya populer yang awalnya tersegmentasi dengan sifat penyerapan budaya yang akan dikonsumsi secara massal. Tampilan desain dari kolaborasi UNIQLO UT menitiberatkan pada pertukaran visual yang melekat pada karakter seniman itu sendiri ataupun brand. Kegiatan kolaborasi ini memungkinkan bagi konsumen yang kepribadiannya tidak sesuai dengan kebudayaan tertentu mampu mengubah pandangan mereka ketika UNIQLO UT berkolaborasi dengan artis tersebut. Sifat pemasaran UNIQLO yang global ini memungkinkan adanya perubahan pandangan atau bahkan penyerapan budaya baru

Abstract

The temple is a religious building which is a cultural heritage. Being a historical value of Chinese culture, the Temple is a place to honor the ancestors (ash house) and Gods and Goddesses with various kinds of typical Chinese ornaments as well as statues of Gods from Confucian beliefs complete with their distinctive weapons, an altar complete with a place to place incense for worship. Boen San Bio Temple was built in 1689 by Chinese traders. The purpose of designing this book is to introduce the wider community to the history of the construction of the Boen San Bio Temple, as well as to protect Chinese cultural heritage in Indonesia. This research uses descriptive and qualitative methods, research to find accurate information about the history, development, culture of the "Boen San Bio" temple building as well as factual and detailed architecture starting from the main part, to buildings on other sides such as the west side, east side, the north and south sides which maintain photography media to produce photography books in order to maintain one of the Chinese cultural heritage values ​​in Tangerang City in the form of the Boen San Bio Temple building. With the photography book, it is hoped that it will become documentation of introductory information about the Boen San Bio Temple for the first time in Indonesia.

Abstract

Pembentukan identitas dalam bentuk logo digunakan sebagai salah satu alat komunikasi dalam menyampaikan visi dan misi perusahaan ke depan. Dalam penelitian ini, analisis perubahan logo perusahaan Gojek diharapkan dapat menambah wawasan mengenai pentingnya sebuah desain logo dalam menggambarkan citra perusahaan serta kemampuannya dalam menarik perhatian masyarakat. Adapun perubahan logo yang dilakukan oleh perusahaan Gojek ini berdasarkan pada adanya pengembangan dalam variasi layanan yang ditawarkan kepada pelanggan. Oleh karena itu, perubahan desain logo diperlukan untuk menyesuaikan dengan citra perusahaan Gojek yang baru, sebagaimana desain logo yang baik tidak hanya mewakili sebuah perusahaan, namun juga dapat membuat produk atau layanan mudah diingat oleh publik. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian studi kasus yang bersifat eksplanatoris dimana data murni diinterpretasikan oleh peneliti sendiri. Data kemudian diolah melalui pengamatan dan juga pencatatan yang sesuai dengan kategori yang dipakai, yaitu berdasarkan metode analisis yang menggunakan dasar teori segitiga makna (triangle meaning semiotics) dari Peirce. Hasil analisis penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tampilan desain logo Gojek yang baru memiliki sifat universal, tahan lama, mudah diingat, fleksibel, unik, dan juga sederhana.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan akurasi layanan di Posyandu Cempaka melalui penerapan sistem digital berbasis kecerdasan buatan (AI). Program ini dirancang untuk memberdayakan kader posyandu sebagai mitra aktif dalam proses transformasi tata kelola administrasi dan operasional posyandu. Sistem digital yang dikembangkan mengintegrasikan fitur rule-based inference dan predictive analytics sederhana untuk mendeteksi potensi risiko gizi dan memberikan rekomendasi tindak lanjut secara otomatis berdasarkan data berat badan, tinggi badan, serta catatan kesehatan ibu dan anak. Pendekatan partisipatif diterapkan melalui Focus Group Discussion (FGD), pelatihan teknis, pendampingan, dan evaluasi berkelanjutan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan kader menggunakan perangkat digital dan memahami konsep dasar AI untuk analisis kesehatan. Penerapan fitur prediksi otomatis terbukti mampu mempercepat proses pelaporan, mengurangi kesalahan input data, dan meningkatkan keakuratan klasifikasi status gizi. Selain manfaat teknis, kegiatan ini juga menumbuhkan kepercayaan diri kader terhadap teknologi dan memperkuat partisipasi masyarakat dalam kegiatan posyandu. Program ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi AI dalam sistem pelayanan posyandu tidak hanya meningkatkan efisiensi administrasi, tetapi juga memperluas kapasitas kader dalam pengambilan keputusan berbasis data. Model posyandu digital ini diharapkan dapat direplikasi di wilayah lain sebagai inovasi pelayanan kesehatan masyarakat berbasis teknologi cerdas.

Abstract

AbstractThis study discusses the visual composition in the trailer of the film Kartini (2017), focusing on color, lighting, and spatial elements in the film’s visuals. It is crucial to understand how the visual elements in each scene are technically created as a medium of communication to convey messages to the audience. The primary objective of this research is to analyze the visual elements utilized in the trailer to construct the narrative, atmosphere, and technical aspects of the visuals. The research method employed is qualitative visual analysis, encompassing observations of cinematography, lighting, color, camera angles, and visual symbols. The findings reveal that the Kartini trailer strategically employs visual elements to depict the colonial-era atmosphere in Java, highlight social conflicts, and reinforce Kartini's characterization as the main figure. The use of warm tones, natural lighting, and dominant close-up shots effectively emphasizes Kartini's emotions and struggles. Additionally, the representation of Javanese cultural symbols enriches the visual narrative, thereby providing a unique appeal to the audience.
