Abstract

This final project aims to realize an environmentally friendly and fuel-efficient vehicle. The increasing need for fuel oil causes several obstacles to the use of oil; for that, one way to overcome the limitations and dependence on fuel is the use of vehicles with electric energy. One solution is to use electrical energy as a source of electrical energy in transportation such as electric cars, electric motorcycles, electric trains, and many others. The electrical system has an important role in the comfort and safety of the driver of the DC motor, lithium battery, and controller as the main components. In finding the maximum load for the rider on the bicycle, 250 kg is obtained. Electric bicycles can go up to a maximum speed of 90 km/h. Furthermore, cover the maximum distance with a full battery charge of 40 km. The 72V-30Ah battery can safely drive an electric motor powered by a 2000 watt motor and a rotational speed of 1000 rpm.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memberikan penjelasan tentang studi eksperimental pengaruh variasi beban dan variasi aliran terhadap efek water hammer. Dimana efek ini akan mempengaruhi tekanan air yang akan dihasilkan jika setelah pembebanan dan perubahan bukaan valve yang diberikan akan menghasilkan efek water hammer yang lebih baik atau cenderung lebih buruk bila tidak memiliki kedua efek tersebut. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan melakukan studi eksperimental yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui tekanan yang terjadi pada saat air mengalir dan kemudian ditutup secara tiba-tiba oleh katup pembuangan yang dihubungkan dengan aliran pipa dengan diameter 1,5 inci setelah beban dan variasi bukaan katup. Pada uji efek water hammer dengan sistem pompa water hammer hidrolik ini dimungkinkan untuk mengubah bukaan katup pemasukan air dengan perubahan beban katup yang diberikan untuk menentukan tekanan water hammer maksimum 378334,64 Pa setelah menerima katup bukaan 80 derajat dan tambahan beban 250 gr, dan efek water hammer terkecil dengan nilai 321376,44 Pa pada bukaan katup 50 derajat dan beban 150 gr. Saat menginvestigasi pompa hydraulic ram ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa ukuran bukaan valve atau jumlah air yang masuk dan besarnya beban pada discharge valve yang akan mempengaruhi tekanan akan meningkat.

Abstract

The Shredded fish is produced by machines automatically, which can facilitate the production process. Previously the process was done conventionally in one production run. This problem prompted researchers to create a machine by combining three tool systems to become a shredded fish processing machine, including a system for separating meat and fish bones, a cooking furnace system, and a shredded dryer/spinner system that can be controlled electrically in the production process, in addition to the shredded produced more cleanly and efficiently in one production process. This machine utilizes the power of an electric motor of ¾ Hp, which is the driving force for the meat separator machine with a rotation speed of 2840 rpm and a production capacity of 30 Kg/hour.

Abstract

The bread machine is also a leverage to increase production capacity and production quality. In contrast to manual bread production, which requires a lot of effort and time, a bread machine makes everything more efficient. The bread machine's output is better than manual production's. Besides that, the hygiene of the bread produced is guaranteed. The device is sterile and safe because all materials are protected with stainless plates, a mixer motor flame that can be adjusted according to needs, and an automatic oven according to requirements. The tray uses hygienic, not harmful to health, and environmentally friendly and pollution-free materials. The level of safety in use is higher because it has appropriate dimensions. The technique for operating a semi-automatic bread-making machine with a production capacity of 4 kg requires 45 minutes with an oven process temperature of 100 ºC to 150 ºC.

Abstract

VAWT adalah turbin angin sumbu vertikal yang gerakan poros dan rotornya sejajar dengan arah angin. Sehingga VAWT dapat bergerak tanpa bergantung pada arah angin. Selain itu VAWT juga dapat bergerak pada kecepatan angin rendah dan menghasilkan listrik karena VAWT memiliki torsi yang tinggi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah VAWT dirancang dengan menggunakan Metode Ergonomic Function Deployment dengan menggunakan tabel House of Ergonomic. Hasil penelitian didapatkan sebuah rancangan VAWT yang ergonomis dengan menggunakan 6 sudu dengan skala pipa paralon 8 dim setelah melalui screening dan selecting concept pada table morphological chart.

Abstract

Utilization of natural energy sources such as solar thermal energy and geothermal energy converted into electrical energy through appropriate technology has been widely used and cannot be separated from the climate. One of them is the process of drying clothes. The drying process used by many people is still simple, namely by drying directly under the sun. This method is less effective because it takes a long time and still depends on the weather. So from here, we will innovate in making a clothes dryer that uses a heating element as a heat source and a fan. The purpose of using a heating element and fan is to help speed up the process of drying clothes in a short time without having to wait a long time and to be able to control the temperature of clothes.

Abstract

The process of cooking dodol dough requires the energy of several people to stir continuously until the dough produces air bubbles. Making dodol generally takes time depending on how much dough you want to cook. If we cook 10 kg of dodol dough, the time needed to cook it is approximately 10-12 hours with medium or normal heat. Currently, the household-scale dodol industry still uses manual methods for the dodol mixing process, which will require more than one person to stir for a long time, so it will take time for one repetitive job and production costs will be higher. This activity aims to create appropriate technology in the form of a dodol mixer machine. With this dodol mixer machine, it is expected to be able to produce optimal dodol dough and can increase production capacity. The method used in this activity is the selection and calculation of the components of the designed tool, the creation of a dodol mixer machine design, and continued with a demonstration of the performance of the dodol mixer machine. The result of this activity is the design of a dodol mixer machine. With a 1/2 Hp motor power, this dodol mixer machine can produce 10 kg/hour with multifunction.
