Abstract

IPv6 as a successor cannot be implemented directly in the network for totally replacing IPv4 because of IPv4 worldwide deployment for more than two decades. The choice is to make IPv6 be co-exist with IPv4 for certain time. Ipv4/lPv6 dual-stack is configured in a tunnel to support both protocols. Abstract

Mobilitas IP (IP mobility) merupakan salah satu kelebihan yang dimiliki oleh IPv6. Hingga saat ini mobilitas IPv6 masih dalam tahap eksperimental. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengukur handover latency pada jaringan mobile IPv6. Metoda penelitian yang digunakan terdiri dari metoda analisa dan perancangan. Metoda analisa dilakukan dengan cara studi pustaka dan penggunaan aplikasi yang dapat mendeteksi handover latency. Metoda rancangan dilakukan dengan membuat sebuah jaringan prototype yang menggunakan sistem operasi LINUX dan menggunakan apiikasi MiPL Mobile IPv6. Dari beberapa percobaan yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada beberapa faktor yang membuat handover latency sangat besar, yaitu faktor media yang digunakan pada jaringan dan faktor prosedur Duplicate Address Detection (DAD).

Abstract

This paper implements static hand gesture recognition in recognizing the alphabetical sign from “A” to “Z”, number from “0” to “9”, and additional punctuation mark such as “Period”, “Question Mark”, and “Space” in Sistem Isyarat Bahasa Indonesia (SIBI). Hand gestures are obtained by evaluating the contourrepresentation from image segmentation of the glove wore by user. Then, it is classified using Artificial Neural Network (ANN) based on the training model previously built from 100 images for each gesture. The accuracy rate of hand gesture translation is calculated to be 90%. Moreover, speech translation recognizes NATO phonetic letter as the speech input for translation.

Abstract

Employee of The Month is a program for best employee selection based on HSE criteria on PCJL – Jambi, most of the process performed manually which spending a lot of time to complete. Author conducted research as an effort to solve the problem by analyzing and designing a prototype of Decision Support System (DSS) utilized Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. Expected, by the design of this system will be a useful solution for the process and shorten the implementation time of the program.

Abstract

Some of the factors that cause forest and land fires are natural factors and human negligence. To determine areas prone to forest and land fires, namely by analyzing data mining techniques using the clustering method and k-means algorithm in order to find out the clustering rules between these clusters. The data processed is data as much as geothermal points obtained from the Manggala Agni Daops Sumatran XI / BTP which has been recapitulated from January to June and the variables used are id, level of confidence, satellite, probability radius and district. The potential for forest and land fires used is based on very vulnerable, prone and non-prone areas. With this analysis, information on areas that are prone to forest and land fires can be obtained and can help when carrying out integrated patrols and preventive patrols because it is known that areas prone to forest and land fires in the Manggala Agni Daops Sumatra XI / BTP work area, namely Tanjung Regency jabung timur and tanjung jabung barat.

Abstract

Decision support system is a system used to support decision making in an organization, company, or educational institution to direct, train, assess and evaluate students and training. Builders as skilled construction workers through the Indonesian Construction Workers Certification Acceleration Program. Work ownership certification is an obligation for construction workers as stipulated in Law No. 2 of 2017 concerning Construction Services. The role of artisans as part of the construction workforce in infrastructure development in Indonesia is very important. Plumbers in the field also determine the quality of buildings. The certification is the standardization of workforce competence, be it an expert, intermediate or skilled craftsman. The purpose of this study is to determine the eligibility of a qualified craftsman certified by the method (Simple Additive Weighting) or also known as the weighted sum method and requires the process of normalization of the decision matrix (X) to a scale that can be compared with all existing alternative ratings. With the criteria set by the government through the public works department and local spatial planning, which cooperates with the construction services development agency, which ends with the granting of certificates to the craftsman who has been declared to have passed the certification test.

Abstract

SMK N 1 Muaro Jambi participated in the selection of achievement teachers made by the Ministry of Education and Culture starting from 2016 which used a decision support system with the Simple Additive Weighting method which was only used for 2 years, then it was no longer used because it was not relevant to the guidelines for selecting outstanding teachers and dedication made by the Ministry of Education and Culture in 2018 until now. Therefore, a decision support system was developed using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). With Pedagogic, Personality, Social and Professional criteria which follow the Gupres guidelines set by the Ministry of Education and Culture. Because the advantages of the Analytical Hierarchy Process method can translate the criteria into sub-criteria, so that the assessment carried out on each alternative becomes more detailed. And also using the C4.5 algorithm method to improve accuracy in selecting the best teacher.

Abstract

Strategic planning of information systems is indispensable by an organization before developing an information system. This is done to minimize and prevent failures in information system investments that may cause the purpose of the information system to be out of line with the organization's objectives. To support the realization of the vision and mission of the Rasau Link Regional Course and Training Institute, the authors conducted research and drafted, and proposed an information system strategic planning framework based on the strategic planning methodology of information systems by Ward and Peppard supported by SWOT Analysis, Porter Value Chain, Key Factors of Success (CSF) and Application Portfolio. Based on the results of the analysis that has been done in this study can be known important factors necessary in the development and application of information systems, as well as the applications needed to manage the data and support the business functions of the main activities of the Course Institute and Training Rantau Rasau Link.

Abstract

Bank BNI Kota Jambi in giving business credit still get trouble, such as: Data management business credit provision for retail customers takes time and occasionally there are a mistake in judgment customers to, business credit provision and the absence of decision systems business credit provision to customers who can give a rough estimate appropriately and quickly. The purpose of research is analyzing and design decision support system with Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method using PHP programming language and MySQL database. Metodology of this research use waterfall model and unified model language using use case diagram, activity diagram, and class diagram. Conclusion of this system can featuring population customer data, criteria data, scoring data that is structured and display report necessary. Research advice are prototyped this system should be devised well and properly so that it will could be applied to Bank BNI Kota Jambi
