Abstract

Kegunaan edible film sebagai kemasan primer makanan semakin meningkat. Pati bengkoang dan tapioka dapat digunakan sebagai sumber pati dalam pembuatan edible film. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan konsentrasi tapioka dan gliserol dan menentukan jenis asam lemak yang menghasilkan karakteristik fisik dan mekanik terbaik dari edible film dengan penambahan pati bengkoang. Pembuatan edible film dilakukan dengan menambahkan variasi konsentrasi tapioka dan gliserol dan dengan menambahkan 1% pati bengkoang. Pati bengkoang dapat menghasilkan edible film dengan elongasi yang cukup baik karena kandungan amilosa yang cukup tinggi yaitu 23%. Pengaruh variasi konsentrasi tapioka dan gliserol terhadap ketebalan, lightness, kuat tarik, persen pemanjangan, dan laju transmisi uap air diamati. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi tapioka dan gliserol berpengaruh signifikan terhadap ketebalan, kuat tarik, persen pemanjangan, dan laju transmisi uap air. Peningkatan konsentrasi tapioka hingga 2% dan konsentrasi gliserol dari 0,5% hingga 1% dapat meningkatkan ketebalan dan persen pemanjangan. Peningkatan konsentrasi tapioka dan gliserol juga meningkatkan kuat tarik dan laju transmisi uap air. Edible film terbaik dihasilkan dari konsentrasi tapioka 2% dan gliserol 0.5%, dalam penelitian ini jenis asam lemak yang digunakan adalah asam lemak stearat dan asam lemak oleat. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa jenis asam lemak juga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap lightness, kuat tarik, persen pemanjangan, dan laju transmisi uap air. Asam lemak stearat memberi pengaruh lebih baik pada karakteristik edible film dibandingkan dengan asam lemak oleat. Asam lemak stearat meningkatkan kuat tarik seiring dengan penurunan elongasi. Penambahan asam lemak stearat dapat menurunkan laju transmisi uap air edible film dari pati bengkoang walaupun dengan penurunan persen pemanjangan.

Abstract

Family business experts suggested that family business is a cyclical cycle of trust that must be kept and maintained by all members of the family in order to maintain the harmonization of relations between the company and the family. The family business is certainly not immune from the variety of issues that are sometimes difficult to solve. One problem is the mistrust among the members of the family. As a result, it is often family business in decline, even forced to close as a result of the ongoing conflict. This study aims to explore the beliefs, especially cognitive trust of first and second generation at PT Dharma Samudera Fishing Industries Tbk. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive. Results showed that inter-personal trust and confidence of competence has awakened among first and second generation, but the first generation not yet demonstrated their confidence in the system that strives to be built and run by the secondgeneration. They deepened the distrust their generation gap that occurred and led to the second generation chose to leave the company.

Abstract

Sindrom malnutrisi-inflamasi merupakan masalah pada pasien dalam hemodialisis. Peningkatan inflamasi menyebabkan risiko malnutrisi meningkat. Massa lemak menggambarkan perubahan status nutrisi yang lebih baik pada pasien hemodialisis (HD). Peningkatan TNF-α menyebabkan produksi ROS lebih tinggi dan akan ditangkap oleh vitamin E. Vitamin E dan TNF-α keduanya disimpan di massa lemak dan bersikulasi dalam darah. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui perbedaan kadar vitamin E dan TNF-α pada dua kelompok massa lemak berbeda pasien dalam HD kronik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional analitik dengan metode potong lintang pada 42 pasien pria yang menjalani HD kronik di RS Dr. Hasan Sadikin Bandung periode September–Oktober 2016. Massa lemak diperiksa dengan alat BIA (bioelectric impedance analyzer) dan dibagi ke dalam dua kelompok, yaitu lebih dan normal/kurang. Vitamin E dan TNF-α diperiksa dengan kromatografi dan ELISA. Analisis statistik menggunakan uji beda dua kelompok tidak berpasangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kadar vitamin E lebih tinggi pada massa lemak lebih daripada normal/kurang (p=0,042). Kadar TNF-α lebih rendah pada massa lemak lebih daripada normal/kurang namun tidak bermakna (p=0,443). Subjek usia>55 tahun, kadar vitamin E lebih tinggi pada massa lemak lebih daripada normal/kurang (p=0,029). Massa lemak lebih dengan lama HD >24 bulan, kadar vitamin E lebih rendah daripada HD ≤24 bulan (p=0,005). Massa lemak normal/kurang dengan lama HD >24 bulan, kadar TNF-α lebih tinggi daripada HD ≤24 bulan (p=0,031). Penelitian ini menyimpulkan, kadar vitamin E lebih tinggi pada kelompok subjek dengan massa lemak lebih daripada normal/kurang. Kadar vitamin E pada massa lemak lebih dengan lama HD >24 bulan, lebih rendah daripada ≤24 bulan. Tidak terdapat perbedaan kadar TNF-α pada kedua kelompok massa lemak, namun kadar TNF-α lebih tinggi pada massa lemak normal/kurang dengan lama HD >24 bulan daripada ≤24 bulan. Increased level of inflammation has a higher risk for malnutrition. Fat mass shows better nutritional status changes in HD patients. TNF-α will cause increased ROS production and will be scavenged by vitamin E that are both saved in fat mass. This study aimed to determine the difference between vitamin E  and TNF-α levels in two fat mass groups of chronic HD patients. This study was a cross-sectional observational-analytic study on 42 male chronic HD patients at Dr. Hasan Sadikin General Hospital Bandung in the period of September–October 2016. Fat mass was measured by BIA and divided in two fat mass groups, higher and normal/lower mass groups. Vit E and TNF-α levels were measured by chromatography and ELISA. Non-paired groups difference test was used as the statistical analysis. The results showed a higher level of vitamin E in higher fat mass group than normal/lower group (p=0.042). TNF-α level tended to be lower in higher fat mass group than in the normal/lower group;  however, the difference was not significant statistically (p=0.443). Subjects who were  >55 years showed a higher level of vitamin E in hifher fat mass group than in normal/lower (p=0.029). The higher fat mass group with HD duration  >24 months showed lower vitamin E level than those with the HD duration ≤24 months (p=0.005). Normal/lower fat mass group with a HD duration of  >24 months showed a higher TNF-α level than≤24 months(p=0.031). In conclusion, in chronic HD patients the vitamin E level is higher in the higher fat mass group than in the normal/lower group. The vitamin E level in the higher fat mass with HD duration of  >24 months is lower than in the HD duration of  ≤24 months. There is no significant difference in TNF-α level in the two fat mass groups; however, the TNF-α level is higher in normal/lower fat mass group with a duration of HD of >24 months than those with a duration of ≤24 months. Through Law No.32 of 2002 concerning Broadcasting, TVRI was established as a Public Broadcasting Institution (LPP). LPP is a broadcasting institution in the form of a legal entity established by the state, independent, neutral, non-commercial and functions to provide services for the benefit of the community. At present, TVRI has changed its Director since March 2018 namely Helmi Yahya, known as the King of Quiz. With the new Managing Director, TVRI began many enthusiasts who watched with new faces and more interesting programs. This research uses a qualitative research method, and is descriptive in nature which will later explain the marketing strategy of TVRI which has begun to attract the public and an increase in rating and audience share. This study uses interview techniques and data collection from social media and the internet as well as journals, books as primary and secondary data. The marketing strategy undertaken by TVRI includes five rebranding media including channel branding packages, promo on air, news packages, social media, and off air promotions. Of all the rebranding media, the most effective media is social media because aside from being a new media or digital marketing, it can reach all people, both TVRI viewers and private TV viewers

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to provide and increase knowledge for the readers and to analyze the effect of Current Ratio, Working Capital Turnover, Debt to Equity Ratio, and Total Assets Turnover on Return on Investment in food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2012-2017. The study population used was 20, the research sample of 11 companies. The research method uses quantitative statistics. The data analysis technique uses the classic assumption test. Hypothesis testing is assessed by multiple linear regression test, T test, and F test. The hypothesis test results of the determination coefficient obtained Adjusted R Square (R2) value of 58%, so it can be said that the variable Current Ratio (X1), Debt to Equity Ratio (X2), Working Capital Turnover (X3), and Total Assets Turnover (X4) affect the Return on Investment (Y) of 58% and the remaining 42% is influenced by other variables that are not found in this study.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan adalah untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh Komunikasi, Motivasi dan Kepemimpinan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan pada PT Pasar Swalayan Maju Bersama Cabang Mangkubumi. Kurangnya komunikasi kerja karyawan yang belum efektif terlihat dari seringnya kesalahan dalam bekerja, motivasi kerja karyawan masih rendah tercermin dari penghargaan yang diberikan kurang dilakukan kepada karyawan dan kepemimpinan yang belum dapat mendorong karyawan mengakibatkan kinerja karyawan mengalami penurunan tercermin dari tidak tercapainya target perusahaan. Metode penelitian mengunakan kuantitatif. Populasi adalah berjumlah 117 karyawan dan sampel berjumlah 107 karyawan PT Pasar Swalayan Maju Bersama Cabang Mangkubumi. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah sampling sensus. Pegujian hipotesis secara parsial Komunikasi, Motivasi dan Kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan pada PT Pasar Swalayan Maju Bersama Cabang Mangkubumi. Secara simultan secara parsial Komunikasi, Motivasi dan Kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan pada PT Pasar Swalayan Maju Bersama Cabang Mangkubumi

Abstract

Elections in Indonesia are one of the concrete manifestations of Indonesia's democratic ideology, in which the people declare their sovereignty over the state and government. That way, people's participation in this election is quite significant as an indicator of the democratic process in Indonesia. Every year, new voters on the electoral voter list will increase. Those are what that is called as a first-time voter. Beginner voters are the ones who are voting or contributing to election activities for the first time. Therefore, it is necessary to find a way to provide insight and make them aware of the importance of their role in state activities. There's a way or method that can be done by carrying out political socialization with the theme of elections. With socialization, of course, it will have a significant effect or impact on these first-time voters.

Abstract

Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) serve as a digital platform that aids creators of digital works, particularly E-Books, in marketing or introducing their creative outputs. This platform offers easy access and high-security systems to safeguard the copyright of E-Book creators. This study aims to analyze and provide insights into the copyright protection of E-Book works in the form of NFTs, under the perspective of Copyright Law. Additionally, the study seeks to determine whether NFT transactions can serve as a solution for Intellectual Property protection in Indonesia. The research employs a normative legal research method, utilizing literature review and descriptive techniques. The findings reveal that NFTs can indeed offer a solution for intellectual property protection in Indonesia. By transforming works into NFTs, their copyright is protected through ownership tokens that are automatically integrated into the blockchain (digital ledger).

Abstract

Pemberdayaan Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) sangat penting karena UMKM merupakan salah satu penopang perekonomian negara. Jenis dan bidang usaha yang dimiliki oleh UMKM sangat beragam, mulai dari bidang yang menghasilkan barang hingga jasa. Salah satu UMKM yang bergerak dalam bidang jasa adalah bengkel. Bengkel yang menjadi mitra adalah bengkel yang berlokasi di daerah Cibogo Bandung yang dikelola oleh sepasang suami istri dengan 2 orang staf yang membantu. Kendala yang dimiliki oleh UMKM ini adalah lokasi yang kurang strategis dan pemilik memiliki keinginan untuk memperkenalkan bengkelnya secara lebih luas. Berdasarkan kebutuhan yang dimiliki oleh mitra maka tim pengabdi berusaha membantu dengan melakukan beberapa hal, antara lain melakukan rebranding terhadap nama bengkel yang semula bernama Bengkel DLWK menjadi New DLWK Racing Team, sehingga nama bengkel menjadi lebih komersial. Selain itu, diusulkan juga untuk pembuatan topi, sticker, dan banner untuk lebih memperkenalkan bengkel tersebut saat mengikuti event tertentu. Pelatihan lebih lanjut juga dilakukan untuk mengembangkan media sosial Instagram yang telah mereka miliki dengan jumlah pengikut yang cukup banyak. Selain itu, juga dilakukan pemberian usulan untuk membuat media sosial lainnya seperti pembuatan konten pada Youtube, Tik Tok, Facebook, dan Whatsapp.
