Abstract

The firm's value reflects the present value of the expected future income. The financial management function can maximize firm value. The purpose of this study was to determine the significance effect of capital structure, dividend policy and firm size on firm value in the Food and Beverage Sub-Sector Companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population in this study were 26 companies from Food and Beverage Sub-Sector in Indonesia Stock Exchange, using a purposive sampling method obtained 12 companies. Data analysis technique using multiple linear regression panel data with the help of Eviews-10 program. The results showed that capital structure had a significant positive effect on firm value, dividend policy had no effect on firm value and firm size had significant negative effect on firm value. This means that the company should still pay attention to the internal factors of the company that can affect company value such as capital structure and company size. This research is limited to only analyzing the variable leverage, capital structure and company carving. Future research should be able to add the company's external factors that can affect firm value such as inflation, interest rates or taxes, as well as increase the observation time of more than five years.

Abstract

This study is performed to examine the effect of Profitability, Dividend Policy, Firm Size, and Capital Structuretoward firm value in companies that is listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange over period 2011-2015. The population of this research is 37 company that listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange period 2011-2015. Sampling technique used here is purposive sampling on criterion (1) the company that represents their financial report per 2012-2014, (2) the company that have profit period 2011-2015 and (3) the company that continually share their dividend period 2011-2015. The data is obtained based on Indonesian Stock Exchange publication. It is gained sample amount of 12 companies from 37 companies those are listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange. The analysis technique used here is multiple regression with hypothesis test using t-statistic to examine partial regression coefficient and F-statistic to examine the mean of mutual effect with level of significance 5%. This research results show that simultaneouslyprofitability, dividend policy, firm size, and capital structure together influential on firm value .Partially profitability and dividend policy gives significantly positive effect on firm value, capital structure give significantly negative effect on firm value, and firm size give negative effect but not statistically significant. We suggest for management company in Indonesian Stock Exchange should be pay attention on profitability, dividend policy, and capital structure that gives significant effect in order to increase firm

Abstract

The purpose of this study is measuring the performance of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) views of factors and Internal external factors. Internal factors such as human resources, finance, production and marketing. While external factors can be seen from the technology, government policy, social economy and the role of institutions. Performance of SMEs can be seen from the various growth occurring in SMEs as sales growth, capital growth, employment growth, profit growth, and the growth of the market. This research is a survey directly to the respondent by means of direct interviews and questionnaires. Samples were obtained as many as 160 respondents coconut sugar SME owners across Banyumas district. Analysis of experimental data was analyzed with descriptive statistics and srutuctural equation modeling (SEM) using AMOS 4.01 program and SPSS for windows. By knowing the performance of SMEs is expected to increase the welfare of the owners of SMEs and SMEs can develop their business and be able to compete in today's global marketplace.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out and analyze the influence of communication, work discipline, leadership style and work environment on employee performance. This is a case study at the Administrative Staff Office, Faculty of Law, Jenderal Sudirman University. The research uses primary data obtained by using questionnaires and direct interviews with research respondents. The population in this study amounted to 36 employees. The sampling technique used is disproportionate stratified random sampling and obtained as many as 33 employees as respondents. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the analysis results indicate that the communication variable has a significant positive effect on employee performance, this can be evidenced by the value of t count (4.578) > t table (2.048). Then the work discipline variable has a significant positive effect on employee performance, this can be proven by the value of t count (2.584) > t table (2.048). While the variable leadership style has a significant positive effect on employee performance, this can be proven by the value of t count (3.828) > t table (2.048). And the work environment variable has a significant positive effect on employee performance, this can be proven by the value of t count (3.407) > t table (2.048). The implication of this research is that communication between fellow employees must be clearer when providing explanations about the tasks to be carried out, there needs to be an increase in discipline, especially in accuracy in carrying out tasks so that tasks are not repaired much and can be completed on time, leaders must create patterns of relationships and communication. lighting in the room is sufficient, employees will feel comfortable and more focused in doing their work. The limitation of this research is data collection using questionnaires, sometimes the answers given are not in accordance with the actual situation. Suggestions for further researchers is to add variables to be studied such as work motivation, work commitment and so on.
