Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan berpikir Aljabar khususnya pada Matematika Babilonia dan Matematika Arab. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode tinjauan pustaka. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perkembangan aljabar dimulai pada zaman Babilonia kuno yang mengembangkan sistem Aritmatika yang sangat kompleks. Hal ini memungkinkan penghitungan dilakukan seperti pada Aljabar saat ini. Al-Khwarizmi adalah orang pertama dalam sejarah yang menggunakan pernyataan Aljabar dalam Matematika. Dalam sejarah Aljabar Babilonia dapat melihat banyak hal, salah satunya adalah penggunaan Aljabar dalam kehidupan sehari-hari masyarakat Babilonia yang tercatat pada loh batu. Penyelesaian berbagai permasalahan bersifat terkendali dan empiris, sehingga hasil yang diperoleh tidak bersifat abstrak.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan yang ada dalam dunia pendidikan, salah satunya masalah perundungan (bullying). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatahui dampak dari perilaku bullying terhadap rasa percaya diri peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yakni pendekatan metode kualitatif dengan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi dan wawancara kepada korban bullying, wali kelas dan wakil kepala sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bentuk bullying yang terdapat di SDN Pulogadung 03 yaitu bullying verbal berupa mengejek dengan menghina kekurangan fisik, dan memanggil dengan sebutan yang tidak pantas. Dampak yang ditimbulkan dari perilaku bullying terhadap rasa percaya diri yakni terdapat korban bullying yang mengalami penurunan tingkat kepercayaan diri namun terdapat pula korban bullying yang mengalami peningkatan kepercayaan diri karena perilaku bullying tersebut menjadi motivasi.

Abstract

Understanding gender roles is one of the important factors towards a bias-free society. This understanding or attitude is attached to the individual in at least two ways; exposure-based, where individuals gain an understanding through education, socialization, parental ideology, marital status, and interest-based where individuals gain an understanding of the benefits of certain gender ideologies for themselves. This study aims to provide an overview of gender role attitudes in UHAMKA students and al-Islam lecturers, especially in the Muamalah course, which is divided into egalitarian gender role attitudes and traditional gender role attitudes. There are five dimensions that are explored from gender role attitudes; religious views on gender, marriage and family, social roles, work and education. The study was conducted using a mixed method design, data collection methods were in the form of a survey for students regarding gender roles and in-depth interviews with lecturers of the Muamalah course. Respondents in this study were students and lecturers who graduated from the Muamalah course from the 2019/2020-2021/2022 academic year. The results of a survey of students illustrate that in the five dimensions measured in this study, most of the respondents have an egalitarian gender role attitude (70%). However, on certain items the survey results provide an illustration that respondents agree more with statements stating that the openness of women's aurat is a source of harassment against women" and "women have difficulty making important decisions because women are dominated by feelings rather than logic". Meanwhile, the results of interviews with seven Muamalah lecturers obtained information that some respondents showed an egalitarian gender role attitude and some were traditional, especially in the dimensions of women's social roles and education. Thus, this research can be the basis for mapping gender insights in the learning process at PTM campuses, especially at UHAMKA. The implications of this study will be discussed later.

Abstract

The Koran covers mathematics in detail, especially multiplication and calculating numbers in various situations and circumstances. Mathematics as the queen of science has an important role as a means of translating concepts in science. so science and mathematics are interconnected and related. Science and mathematics are connected to the verses of the Qur'an. The verses in the Qur'an as the source of everything include technology, science, economics and provide the meaning that all branches of knowledge can be sought for truth from their source in the Qur'an. The method used in this journal uses qualitative research methods with the type of research being literature study. An example of a mathematical concept that has a correlation with the source of the Al-Qur'an is regarding the mathematical concept in the implementation of tawaf, namely when the congregation circles the Kaaba to form a flat circular shape. Abstract

This study aims to examine whether or not there is a relationship between religiosity and the discipline of elementary school students in grade 3 SDN Tengah 01 Pagi, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta. This research falls under the category of quantitative research using the Correlational research method. The population under investigation consisted of 60 third-grade students (III A and III B) of the school. The sampling technique utilized in this study was cluster random sampling, involving a sample size of 56 respondents. As for the primary data sources in the research, they encompass the school principal, teachers, and students. Meanwhile, the secondary data sources are derived from journal articles, books, and other relevant sources related to the research. Data collection methods in this research included questionnaires and observations. Based on the research results, it indicates a strong correlation between religious attitudes and student discipline. The correlation value of 0.623 is positive and has a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05. Thus, there is a positive relationship or correlation between religious attitudes and the discipline of third-grade students of classes III A and III B at SDN Tengah 01 Pagi, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta.

Abstract

Gender equality is still an important and strategic issue to discuss in Indonesia. This study aims to describe the gender role attitudes of students in the Muhammadiyah and Aisyiyah Higher Education (PTMA) environment because PTMA students are agents of change and are tasked with spreading the Muhammadiyah Islamic preaching committed to gender equality and justice. The research method used quantitative with respondents in this study totaling 200 students in various PTMA, 136 women and 64 men. The instruments used in this study were constructed by the researcher and consisted of five dimensions: religion, marriage and family, social work, work, and education. The results of this study indicate that in general, the gender role attitudes of students in the PTMA environment are more egalitarian than traditional gender roles, meaning that they already have a gender role perspective based on equality. However, there is still a gender bias, such as the view of the same potential between women and men in education; religious authority (ulama) towards women is not the same as men; and opportunities for public leadership for women. The implications of the findings of this study will be discussed further.
