Abstract

Accurate and efficient nursing documentation is crucial for improving the quality of care and patient safety. However, the predominant manual recording practices in the inpatient wards of Pati Islamic Hospital, particularly the Utsman bin Affan ward, create various challenges, such as delayed reporting, recording errors, and limited access to information. This project is to develop and implement a spreadsheet-based digital daily nursing reporting system to improve the quality of documentation. A simple technology development project approach with stages: needs analysis, spreadsheet template design, system implementation, and effectiveness evaluation through observation of filling time and evaluation questionnaires. This spreadsheet-based digital reporting system is able to reduce recording time, increase data accuracy, and receive positive feedback from users, with 92.9% of nurses stating their willingness to use it on an ongoing basis. Digital reporting using spreadsheets has proven to be a practical and effective solution in improving the efficiency and quality of nursing documentation, especially in healthcare facilities with limited technological infrastructure.

Abstract

HIV/AIDS remains a global health problem, including in Indonesia, with a significant impact on adolescents as a high-risk group. Adequate knowledge about HIV/AIDS is expected to foster healthier sexual behaviors, thereby minimizing the risk of transmission. The increasing prevalence of risky sexual behavior among adolescents can contribute to high rates of HIV/AIDS transmission. to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge about HIV/AIDS and adolescent sexual behavior. This research is quantitative with a correlational design using a cross-sectional approach. The study population was adolescents aged 15–19 years in the Pati I Community Health Center working area, with a sample of 100 respondents selected using proportional random sampling. The research instrument was a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability, including 10 questions for the HIV/AIDS knowledge variable and 10 questions for the sexual behavior variable. Data analysis was performed univariately to observe the frequency distribution and bivariately using the Spearman correlation test. showed that most respondents had a level of knowledge about HIV/AIDS in the category of less (49%), sufficient (28%), and good (23%). As many as 55% of respondents were classified as having risky sexual behavior, with forms of behavior varying from holding hands to penetrative sexual intercourse. The results of the bivariate test showed a significant relationship between the level of knowledge about HIV/AIDS and adolescent sexual behavior (p-value = 0.031) with a weak positive correlation (r = 0.215). Conclusion: There is a significant relationship with a positive direction between knowledge about HIV/AIDS and adolescent sexual behavior.

Abstract

This study discusses the application of recitation therapy as an effective mental health healing method to reduce stress and anxiety and strengthen spiritual connection with Allah SWT. However, at the Pati Islamic Hospital, recitation is not recommended. This Qur'an has not yet become a routine habit, so there needs to be systematic implementation so that this therapy can improve the emotional well-being of health workers. Building an Islamic work culture by starting activities by remembering Allah SWT, instilling a sense of discipline and sincerity, and regularly reciting holy verses to create a harmonious work atmosphere and also improve work ethic. Qualitative action research approach with the following stages: problem identification, implementation observation, and impact evaluation through interviews and reflection with health workers. Tilawah therapy has a positive impact on the emotional and spiritual well-being of health workers, creates a calm working atmosphere, strengthens Islamic work culture (sincerity, responsibility, empathy), reduces stress, increases focus, strengthens relationships between staff, and supports humanistic and quality health services. The implementation of tilawah therapy at the RSI Pati Nurse Station effectively improves emotional balance, mental calm, work ethic, and the quality of healthcare services. This therapy also fosters a harmonious, religious, and spiritual Islamic work culture, creating a humanistic and meaningful work environment.

Abstract

Hospital waste disposal compliance includes the procedures implemented. Improper sorting negatively impacts environmental quality and must be controlled according to applicable SOPs. To determine the relationship between length of service and nurses' compliance with SOPs for medical and non-medical waste disposal at Pati Islamic Hospital in 2025. The researchers used a quantitative study with a cross-sectional approach. The population was nurses at Pati Islamic Hospital, and a sample of 52 nurses was obtained using purposive sampling. Data analysis used the Chi-Square test using SPSS. A total of 20 respondents (38.5%) had the longest working period with a working period of >10 years, while 5 respondents (9.6%) had a minimum working period with a working period of <1 year. A Good compliance attitude was obtained by 48 respondents (92.3%), and 4 respondents had a Fair compliance attitude. In conclusion, there is no relationship between the length of service period and nurses' compliance with the SOP for medical and non-medical waste disposal based on the Chi-Square calculation obtained a value of 0.250, greater than the significance value of 0.05. The conclusion is that length of service does not affect nurses' compliance with SOPs for disposing of medical and non-medical waste at Pati Islamic Hospital. The researchers recommend further research with a more diverse population of respondents and other variables related to hospital waste disposal to compare the results.
