Abstract

This research is motivated by a needs analysis of consistent teaching materials. This study aims to develop a natural science teaching material product based on Problem Based Learning (PBL), as well as to test its effectiveness through a one group sample pretest and posttest design. The data validation results by three experts include: material experts, linguists, and technology experts, as well as user responses, getting a comprehensive average score of 3.40, with an ideal standard score of 4.0. While the empirical test data through one group sample pretest and posttest design on 51 test samples, obtained an N-Gain value with an average score of 0.45 with a (medium) category. Thus, it is recommended that Problem Based Learning (PBL) natural sciences teaching materials are very feasible and effective to be used in learning activities in Elementary Schools and Islamic Elementary Schools.

Abstract

Sorgum merupakan salah satu tanaman langka yang tidak banyak diketahui oleh siswa. Sebagian warga masyarakat menganggap tanaman tersebut sebagai tanaman hama. Pembelajaran biologi memiliki peran dalam memberikan informasi dan konservasi tanaman sorgum.  Model Problem Based Learning memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa untuk mengkaji permasalahan yang ditemukan dan upaya mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, salah satunya tentang tanaman Sorgum yang sudah mulai punah. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif yang didasarkan pada  hasil kajian literatur dan pengalaman penelitian dan pembelajaran biologi. Sintaks dalam model problem based learning memberikan informasi kepada siswa tentang deskripsi tanaman Sorgum, manfaat, dan cara penanamannya sekaligus permasalahnya yang mengalami kepunahan. Kegiatan investigasi memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa mencari informasi dari berbagai sumber tentang tanaman Sorgum dan menemukan bibitnya. Siswa mencari solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan melalui upaya konservasi diantaranya dengan cara menanam sendiri dan mengajak warga untuk menanam bibit Sorgum.

Abstract

The use of guided project and inquiry methods theoretically encourages students to think creatively to solve problems in the real environment, train students to work together in groups, and produce products that are meaningful to students. This study aims to determine (1) the difference in the effect of the project method and guided inquiry on creative thinking skills and students' cognitive learning outcomes. (2) the effect of the guided inquiry and project method on students' creative thinking abilities (3) the effect of the guided inquiry and project method on students' cognitive learning outcomes (4) the effect of the project method on students' creative thinking abilities (5) the effect of project methods on students' cognitive learning outcomes (6) the influence of the guided inquiry method on students' creative thinking skills. (7) the effect of the guided inquiry method on students' cognitive learning outcomes. on recycled class V waste materials at SD Negeri 3 dasan lekong. Academic year 2020/2021. The type of this research is Quasi Experiment Control Group Experiment Posttest Only Design. The population is all students of class V, totaling 48 students. Which consists of class VA and class VB. The sample used in this study were all fifth grade students. The sampling technique was randomized groups. Namely class VA as an experimental class using the project method, and class VB as a control class using the guided inquiry method. Based on the results of the analysis of the MANOVA test simultaneously, a significance value of 0.018 < from 0.05 was obtained, so it was said that there was a difference in the effect of the project method and guided inquiry on creative thinking skills and students' cognitive learning outcomes, while partially there was a difference in the effect between the project method and the inquiry method. guided by the creative thinking ability and cognitive learning outcomes of students with p-value p-value 0.164 Pillai's Trace > from a significance level of 0.018, p-value 0.836 Wilks' Lambda and a significant value of 0.018, p-value 0.196 Hotelling's Trace and a significant value of 0.018, p-value 0.196 and 0.018 Roy's Largest Root. The conclusion is that there is a difference in the effect between the project method and guided inquiry on students' creative thinking abilities and cognitive learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of students' science learning outcomes, due to the low science learning outcomes of students, students' low science critical thinking, and the lack of media in science learning. In this study, using office 365-based learning media to determine the difference between critical thinking and learning outcomes with these learning media. The approach in this study is a quantitative approach with the type of research True Experimental Design used to control all external variables that affect the course of the experiment. The population in this study was class V Cluster IV students, Sambelia District, amounting to 66 students. random sampling. Where the schools that were sampled were fifth grade students of SDN 1 Obel-Obel with conventional learning media and fifth grade students of SDN 2 Belanting using Office 365-based learning media. This research instrument was an essay test for critical thinking with a total of 10 questions and 30 multiple choice questions. for learning outcomes. The data analysis technique used is the Manova test. Based on the results of data analysis, it is known that (1) there are differences in the effects caused by office 365-based learning media with conventional learning on critical thinking of elementary school students. In all tests, the value of p = 0.000 was obtained. Because the value of p < (0.05), then H0 is rejected. This means that there is simultaneously an effect of office 365-based learning on critical thinking and science learning outcomes for Elementary School Class V Cluster IV, Sambelia District. (2) there is a difference in the effect of office 365-based learning media with conventional learning on the learning outcomes of class V group IV students in Sambelia District. The results of the analysis obtained a p value of 0.000. Because the value of p < (0.05), then H0 is rejected. This means that there is an effect of office 365-based learning on science learning outcomes at SD Class V Cluster IV, Sambelia District; (3) there is a significant interaction effect of office 365-based learning media with conventional learning on critical thinking and elementary school students, as evidenced by the results of the analysis obtained a p value of 0.000. Because the value of p < (0.05), then H0 is rejected. This means that there is an effect of office 365-based learning on critical thinking in Elementary School Class V Cluster IV, Sambelia District. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh minimnya hasil belajar IPA siswa, karena rendahnya hasil belajar IPA siswa, rendahnya berpikir kritis IPA siswa, dan kurangnya media dalam pembelajaran IPA. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis office 365 untuk mengetahui perbedaan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar dengan media pembelajaran tersebut. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian True Experimental Design digunakan untuk mengontrol semua variabel luar yang mempengaruhi jalannya eksperimen.Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V Gugus IV Kecamatan Sambelia yang berjumlah 66 siswa.Sedangkan sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik random Sampling. Dimana sekolah yang menjadi sampel adalah siswa kelas V SDN 1 Obel-Obel dengan media pembelajaran Konvensional dan siswa kelas V SDN 2 Belanting dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis Office 365. Instrumen penlitian ini berupa tes essay untuk berpikir kritis dengan jumlah10 soal dan 30 soal pilihan ganda untuk hasil belajar. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Uji Manova. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diketahui bahwa (1) terdapat perbedaan pengaruh ditimbulkan oleh media pembelajaran berbasis office 365 dengan pembelajaran Konvensional dengan terhadap berpikir kritis siswa Sekolah Dasar. Pada semua uji didapatkan nilai p = 0,000. Karena nilai p < ? (0,05), maka H0 ditolak. Hal ini berarti bahwa secara simultan ada pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis office 365 terhadap berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar IPA SD Kelas V Gugus IV Kecamatan Sambelia. (2) terdapat perbedaan Pengaruh Media pembelajaran berbasisi office 365 dengan Pembelajaran Konvensional terhadap Hasil Belajar siswa kelas V gugus IV Kecamatan Sambelia. Hasil analisis diperoleh nilai p yaitu 0,000. Karena nilai p < ? (0,05), maka H0 ditolak. Hal ini berarti bahwa ada pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis office 365 terhadap hasil belajar IPA SD Kelas V Gugus IV Kecamatan Sambelia.; (3) terdapat interaksi yang signifikan pengaruh media pembelajaran berbasisi office 365 dengan Pembelajaran Konvensional terhadap berpikir kritis dan siswa Sekolah Dasar, dibuktikan dengan Hasil analisis diperoleh nilai p yaitu 0,000. Karena nilai p < ? (0,05), maka H0 ditolak. Hal ini berarti bahwa ada pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis office 365 terhadap berpikir kritis SD Kelas V Gugus IV Kecamatan Sambelia.

Abstract

 Education has an important role in influencing one's attitudes, including attitudes towards the environment. The purpose of writing is to explain how learning through a combination of Problem Based Learning and Group Investigation models in improving attitudes towards the environment. Investigative activities to find out the surrounding environmental problems followed by the process of solving problems encountered during the investigation are a series of learning processes that will foster concern for environmental problems. Knowledge gained from direct experience of real problems found will affect a person's behavior or attitude.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of entrepreneurship learning and subjective norms on students' entrepreneurial attitudes and interests. This study is a descriptive exploratory study with 33 biology education students as subjects. The research instrument used was a closed questionnaire with degraded answers according to the Likert scale and had been validated by experts. Analysis of research data used is descriptive statistics and inferential statistics with multiple linear regression test at a significance level of 5%. The results of the study show that (1) biology students' perceptions of entrepreneurship learning, subjective norms, attitudes and entrepreneurial interests are in the Good category; (2) there is an effect of entrepreneurship learning and subjective norms on student entrepreneurial attitudes with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05; (3) there is an effect of entrepreneurship learning and subjective norms on student entrepreneurial interest with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05; (4) entrepreneurship learning and subjective norms influence student entrepreneurial attitudes by 50.1% and the rest are influenced by variables or other factors; (5) entrepreneurship learning and subjective norms affect student entrepreneurial interest by 42.7% and the rest is influenced by variables or other factors.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to train 21st century skills for SMPN 1 Aikmel students through a scientific approach with a Lesson Study model. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, which examines the process of learning science divided into several cycles to reveal the facts of learning. The subjects in this study were class VII students of SMPN 1 Aikmel. Lesson Study was carried out in two cycles, each cycle consisting of the stages of Plan (composing Lesson design), Do (open class), See (learning reflection), Redesign Lesson design, Do (open class), and See (learning reflection). Based on the results of observations that have been made, it was obtained data on student collaboration skills of 75.1%, critical thinking skills of 72.4%, and literacy skills of 72.5%. From the data it can be concluded that overall collaboration skills, critical thinking skills and literacy skills are in the high category. The results of the study showed that there were changes in students' collaboration skills, literacy skills and critical thinking skills because they were trained through a scientific approach in each cycle of the science learning process that was carried out

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the multimedia-assisted problem-based learning model's effect on motivation in mathematics studies learning. This quasi-experiment study used a nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design. The study sample was all grade students at SD Negeri 4 Pringgabaya, which comprised 60 students and two classes using a non-probability sampling. To collect data using questionnaires. The experimental results show that the multimedia-assisted problem-based learning model positively impacts motivation in mathematics studies learning. This indicates that the pretest average in the experimental class is 43.33, while the post-test average is 76.50. The average pretest score in the control class was 47.80, while the average post-test was 69.33. Based on the T-Test analysis, the significance value obtained from the process results is 0.009 < 0.05, so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Based on the n-gain test, the increase in student learning motivation in the experimental class is in the quite effective category with a value of 60%, while the increase in student learning outcomes in the control class is in the ineffective category, namely 39 %. So that, motivation Study students who are taught using a problem-based learning model assisted by multimedia are sufficient effective in increase motivation Study Mathematics students.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the critical thinking skills of biology students through the application of the Problem-Based Learning Lesson Study pattern. The research method used was descriptive qualitative. The subjects in this study were Biology students of semester V at Hamzanwadi University. The research instruments consisted of observation sheets to obtain information about the learning process with Lesson Study patterns, as well as essay test instruments to measure students' critical thinking skills. Critical thinking indicators used include the ability to formulate problems, the ability to provide arguments, deductive ability, inductive ability, and evaluation ability. Data analysis was done descriptively and qualitatively. The effectiveness of applying the problem-based learning model to students' critical thinking skills was assessed using the N Gain formula. Based on the N Gain results, the problem-based learning model was quite effective in improving students' critical thinking skills with the following details; the ability to formulate problems was 0.67 (medium), the ability to provide arguments was 0.42 (medium), deductive ability was 0.44 (medium), inductive ability was 0.40 (medium), and evaluation ability was 0.41 (medium). Meanwhile, the learning process with Lesson Study which includes the Plan, Do, and See stages provides valuable learning for the team of lecturers involved when jointly designing learning, observing learning, and reflecting on learning, followed up in the learning process in the class they teach.
