Abstract

Web technology is growing rapidly, with today's website being a role to improve effectiveness, the design of the web can be said to be good when it meets usability aspects for testing the products, which are compatible with the manufacturing and easier access to the site. One of the implementations of the effectiveness of website technology is the implementation of the website to assist with learning teaching at the covid-19 pandemic. Nganjuk district will maintain it by creating an e-learning based website called Si-Prestasi. But in the user data found on the si-prestasi website, there is a user decline from the Si-Prestasi website. In January 2021, student users reached 731,621 and in April 2021 to 187,590 times and teacher users, 3,658 times opened the applications for their accomplishments, and in April 2021 down to 11,612 times. Thus the study aims to analyze Culinaire's usability system by referring to the 5 aspects of usability: learnability, efficiency, memorability, errors, and satisfaction. The results of this research demonstrate that the aspects of learnability, efficiency, memorability, and satisfaction are at a good category value and the error aspect falls insufficient category. Therefore, improvements need to be made to optimize the website and improve on the server si-prestasi websites.

Abstract

SuperH-antimagic total labeling (SHATL) can be utilized to generate encryption keys. The keys are then used to establish the improved block and stream ciphers. In these ciphers, different blocks were encrypted by the different keys, but all block keys were connected one another. These conditions make the developed cryptosystems more secure and require less keys storage capacity compared to the ordinary block and stream cipher. The randomness of the generated keys, however, still need to be tested. The test is necessary to ensure that there is no specific pattern that can be utilized by any intruder to guess the keys. This paper presents the randomness tests applied to all key sequences generated by both the improved block scheme and the stream based scheme.

Abstract

This study aims to model the network for the archipelago and tourism on Gili Ketapang. The network model implemented is a wireless WAN network infrastructure to meet the needs of a reliable tourist area. This model implements DHCP and OSPF as the routing protocol. The methodology used is to perform simulations using a packet tracer in designing the network through several scenarios with parameters for assessing delay and packet loss. At the time of implementation, it began with a cluster area with the parameters of the number of business units spread across each hamlet. This network design utilizes OSPF, DHCP, and wireless network infrastructure resulting in the most considerable delay of 0.021 and packet loss of less than 3% so that it is included in the excellent category. The implementation results using the OSPF routing protocol, several paths do not go through the shortest path because they have to go through the backbone area, but because OSPF is a link-state, the cost is meager than the shortest path.

Abstract

Taman Kanak-kanak Islam Terpadu (TKIT) Buah Hati Kita Jember terletak kurang lebih 2 km dari Universitas Jember. Dalam kegiatan penerimaan siswa baru, selama ini TK masih melakukan publikasi dengan cara-cara yang konvensional, seperti dengan memasang banner dan menyebar pamphlet dengan mencantumkan kontak telepon TK bagi orang tua yang menginginkan informasi lebih lanjut. Hal ini dinilai kurang efisien pada kondisi masyarakat yang semakin terbiasa menggunakan perangkat berbasis teknologi informasi dalam kesehariannya berupa smartphone dan komputer. Oleh karena itu, pada kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini dilakukan pelatihan kepada para guru di TKIT Buah Hati Kita Jember dalam memanfaatkan layanan Content Management System (CMS) yang disediakan oleh Google, yaitu Google Sites untuk membuat web profile TKIT. Melalui web profile tersebut, pihak TKIT secara mandiri dapat mempromosikan keunggulan sekolah, album kegiatan dan juga pengumuman penerimaan siswa baru dengan cara menuliskannya pada Google Sites. Selain itu, tim pelaksana pengabdian juga membantu mengintegrasikan web profile yang telah dibuat dengan nama domain dengan akhiran .sch.id agar web tersebut lebih mudah diakses dan diingat oleh masyarakat.

Abstract

Detailed Engineering Design Computer networks in hospitals are complete planning drawings that include architectural drawings and detailed elements that support the implementation of computer networks and are supported by technical documents in them. DED is required in hospitals as an attachment to the Network infrastructure submission document used for all hospital operations, health services, and other purposes. The method used in analyzing and designing the Detail Engineering Design is using the Gap Analysis Method (GAP). The proposed recommendations include network topology based on an analysis of existing needs and DED results for the computer network of X City Y Hospital. The topology testing parameters consider QOS (Quality of Service), which consists of ping testing on all devices, Traffic Block Firewall, and web server access. The test results were carried out using three parameters, namely the ping test, traffic block, and web server access, where all tests have been successful and are by the steps in carrying out the test.

Abstract

The obstacle most often faced by tourist attractions is related to the variable number of visitors where the number of visitors has decreased due to the co-19 pandemic. This variable number of visitors can be an obstacle for tourist attraction managers to be able to maximize the income earned. This study aims to develop a forecasting system for the number of visitors to Gumul Paradise Island by applying the Prophet Method. The stages of the research include communication, prophet modeling, and evaluation of results. The data used as training data is visitor data from 2012 to 2021. This study used data-filling techniques to fill in the blank training data. The accuracy rate of forecasting the number of visitors is 99.387% in comparing the forecasting results of training data with test data and 90.242% in forecasting results with actual data. This can be interpreted that the forecasting model using the prophet method can predict the number of visitors to the Gumul Paradise Island tourist attraction.

Abstract

Violence against women is a serious issue affecting many individuals in society. In Indonesia, including Kota Probolinggo, the number of cases of violence against women remains high. This research aims to design a chatbot application as a means for reporting violence against women and children (VAWC) in Kota Probolinggo. The application provides an anonymous and safe space for victims to report their complaints without revealing their identities. Additionally, the chatbot delivers information and education about different types of violence against women and preventive measures. The development of the chatbot application utilizes Fuzzy String Matching, Enhanced Confix Stripping Stemmer, and preprocessing methods to enhance data search accuracy and provide appropriate responses to users. The testing results show that the chatbot offers responses with satisfactory accuracy. Leveraging AI technology in the form of a chatbot is expected to provide an effective solution in addressing and preventing violence against women, offering a secure and anonymous platform for victims to report incidents. The application is envisioned to offer better support and assistance to victims of violence. The chatbot application implements fuzzy string matching, the Levenshtein distance algorithm, and Enhanced Confix Stripping Stemmer to process user input before matching it with the database. During the Enhanced Confix Stripping Stemmer process, sentences are transformed into an array of basic words, enhancing the accuracy of data matching when using fuzzy string matching and the Levenshtein distance algorithm. Testing results indicate a 4.77% difference between manual calculations and the chatbot system. This difference may be attributed to variations in text processing and other factors.

Abstract

Karangharjo is a constituent village situated in the Silo District, under the Jember Regency of the East Java Province. Statistically, a significant number of individuals residing in rural regions have not attained schooling up to the junior high school or senior high school level. In 2018, the Community Learning Center (PKBM) Rumah was founded with the aim of ensuring universal access to education. Rumah Pintar provides three comprehensive services: the coordination of educational programs for packages A, B, and C, provision of basic and advanced literacy services, and establishment of community reading gardens. Two priority issues have been successfully addressed. The initial concern pertains to the administration of the PKBM Rumah Pintar services, which at present remains manual and lacks support for remote learning. The second concern regarding the human resources at Rumah Pintar is the insufficient proficiency in soft skills related to information technology. For the purpose of addressing the issue, the application "ROOMPI" has been created. The objective of this application is to enhance the effectiveness, efficiency, and accessibility of services for the general population. One approach to address the second issue is to enhance the capabilities of human resources in the areas of service management and efficient information technology management. The testing results acquired utilizing the SUS approach yielded a score of 85, which falls within the acceptable range. Furthermore, the assessment findings indicate that 83% of users express satisfaction, and the ROOMPI program greatly boosts learning motivation

Abstract

Sister for Student (SFS) merupakan aplikasi pengelolaan akademik dan keuangan untuk mahasiswa Universitas Jember. Sister For Students telah dirilis di play store dan telah diunduh lebih dari 100 ribu. Namun, aplikasi ini mendapatkan total 3,3 bintang dan banyak ulasan negatif dari pengguna. User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) digunakan sebagai metode untuk mengevaluasi pengalaman pengguna aplikasi SFS. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui aspek-aspek dari UEQ dan fitur-fitur SFS yang perlu ditingkatkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan slovin dalam menentukan sampel dan purposive sampling dalam menentukan porsi responden berdasarkan fakultas. Sebanyak 397 responden dari 15 fakultas dan pascasarjana berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat analisis data UEQ. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aspek perspicuity mendapatkan skor rata-rata (1,84) dengan hasil tolok ukur baik. Sedangkan aspek daya tarik mendapatkan rata-rata (1,38), efisiensi (1,33), ketergantungan (1,46), stimulasi (1,15), dan kebaruan (0,85) mendapatkan hasil benchmark di atas rata-rata. Perbaikan perlu dilakukan pada aspek daya tarik, efisiensi, ketergantungan, stimulasi dan kebaruan serta fitur kehadiran berdasarkan umpan balik pengguna SFS.

Abstract

Setiap Bank memiliki layanan dalam meminjamkan modal kepada suatu perusahaan. Namun nominal pinjaman modal tidaklah sedikit. Sehingga untuk mencegah pengembalian modal dapat dilakukan dengan lancar, diperlukan clustering perusahaan berdasarkan analisa likuiditas. Pada penelitian ini, clustering dilakukan menggunakan hybrid Particle Swarm Optimization dengan K-Means (PSO-KMeans). Metode hybrid tersebut digunakan untuk mendapatkan hasil cluster yang tidak terjebak dalam solusi optimum lokal. Hasil yang diperoleh dari hybrid PSO K-Means menunjukkan hasil yang lebih baik jika dibandingkan dengan menggunakan algoritma K-Means tanpa hybrid. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan perolehan centroid terbaik yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai Silhouette Coefficient yang diperoleh hybrid PSO K-Means lebih baik dibandingkan K-Means.
