Abstract

Abstract: Indonesia produces a variety of fruits, especially in North Sulawesi. The demand of fruit in Indonesia has increased by 10% over the last five years creating opportunities for people to sell local fruits at local farmers markets. In order for local fruit sellers to compete in the market, a strategy must be formed to gain competitive advantage. The objective of this study is to identify the competitive advantage of local fruit sellers in Pasar Beriman Tomohon. This research takes a qualitative approach by conducting interviews with 10 local fruit sellers in Pasar Beriman Tomohon as the respondents, which were chosen through purposive sampling and snowball sampling. The findings of this research are there are four variables that local fruit sellers in Pasar Beriman Tomohon consider to gain competitive advantage, which are factor conditions, demand conditions, related and supporting industries and company strategy, structure and rivalry. There are several similarities in factor conditions and related and supporting industries between the local fruit sellers and several differences in demand conditions and company strategy, structure and rivalry that are used as a competitive advantage. Local fruit sellers in Pasar Beriman Tomohon should form a strategy not only based on pricing but also services. Keywords: competitive advantage, strategic management, traditional market, qualitative study

Abstract

Abstract:     As the development of technology in this modern era, social media is used by companies as a medium to promote and introduce their products and services to consumers, and also impacts to build their brand. Then the phenomenon of viral marketing is become increasingly popular as part of today's marketing strategy. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of viral marketing using social media platforms on brand awareness of cosmetic brand from South Korea, Laneige. Social media that represent each social media platform are Facebook, Youtube and Instagram. The data in this study were obtained from questionnaire that distributed to 100 respondents by using purposive sampling method, where the data is further processed by multiple linear regression method. From the analysis results show that viral marketing through these three social media simultaneously gives a significant influence in building brand awareness of 51.5%, but individually only Instagram shows a greater positive effect on brand awareness than the other two variables. Keywords: viral marketing, social media, brand awareness, platform

Abstract

Servant leadership and Transformational leadership are a leadership styles that must be owned by the present leaders. In this study, leadership style (servant leadership and transformational leadership) become the keys for investigating the corporate social responsibility in church. The aim is to examine the impact servant leadership and transformational leadership for the succeed of corporate social responsibility. The population of this research is all pastors of GKPMI. And the sample is 8 pastors from this church. This research used qualitative analysis, using the interview and observation techniques. This research found that servant leadership and transformational leadership must run together to obtain the corporate social responsibility, and it compliment and balanced the CSR in organization. Because it mixed together, the CSR is higher than before. Conclusion Servant leadership and transformational leadership have a positive impact toward congregation and because of that the corporate social responsibility in this organization is good enough, or can say extremely well. Recommendation for the church is to apply this servant and transformational leadership so the church can manage the CSR well. Abstract

Abstract: Work discipline can be interpreted where the employee himself can correct the lack of behavior and ensure compliance with company rules that have been established. The purpose of the discipline applied in every company or organization is the correct behavior. In general employee discipline should be limited such as the release of warning letters, though letters or actual termination. Therefore, to improve performance, employees must be able to comply with regulations such as always coming to work at the right time or can also do their work diligently or well dress in the office so that employees can work effectively. This research aims to analyze the effect of work discipline and employee morale on employee performance in company. This research is using quantitative research with multiple linear regression. This research based on numeric figures or numbers. Population in this research are all employee at bank. The result of this research shows that the work discipline and employee morale have a significant effect to employee performance. The bank leaders should pay more attention to employee morale and employee discipline so that they can improve the quality of the company. Keywords: human resources management, work discipline, employee morale, employee performance

Abstract

Abstract: Employees are the most important part of a company, especially in PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero)Tbk Manado with a good performance of employee it can increase the company’s values. With that condition Researcher want to help PT Bank Tabungan Negara Manado to to see is there any significant different in Work Life Balance and Working Environment between Male and Female employees. The researcher analyzes data based on primary data and secondary data by using SPSS software while, primary data is collected by distributing 100 questionnaires to 50 male and 50 female employee of PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk. Secondary data is collected by reading various books, journal and browsing the internet. The researcher uses Independent Sample T-test. By using Independent sample T-test the result shows that there is no significant difference between Male and Female Customer in Work Life Balance and Working Environment. Based on the results, the data is normally distributed and homogenous. The researcher recommends for PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk Manado no need to make a different between male and female employee in Work Life Balance and Work Environment. Keywords: work life balance, working environment, independent sample t-test, gender, banking sector.

Abstract

Abstract: Since inaugurated as a regional autonomy on 2 January 2007, the development of  North Bolaang Mongondow area is developed rapidly. The tendency of development will be on and on along with the opening of new land in this area. By the increasing of public demand for furniture products then it will automatically increasing the number of companies engaged in this same field of industry. This research has the purpose to concerning MSMEs UD. Aditya Meubel is chosen as the main research object by considering its existence since the invention in 2007 until now. By doing strategic management process which is strategy formulation, then this could help the business in improving the performance so that they can survive and remain consistent to its goal, which is also automatically, can help to increase the revenue. The research method used is the combination of descriptive qualitative and quantitative method where quantitative is used to facilitate the qualitative by using some of the analytical tools such as IFE, EFE, IE, SWOT,QSPM and TOPSIS .The result on QSPM and Fuzzy TOPSIS show that the market development becomes the top preferred priority among other alternative strategies with the amount of weight is 3.697 in QSPM and 0.72124 in Fuzzy TOPSIS. Thus, UD. Aditya Meubel needs to expand its marketing area gradually, which can be started in 5 areas around its regular marketing area. Keywords: strategic management, strategy formulation, ife, efe, swot, internal-external matrix, qspm, topsis model.

Abstract

Abstract: Company and employee are two elements that cannot be separated. Without the employees, the company will not be able to perform to achieve its goals. On the other hand, the employees will not be able to support their welfare without the company as a place to work and make a living. One of the strategies that the company can do to manage the employee performance is by giving the employee a proper welfare program which can support the employee performance. The objectives in this research is to know importance and performance of employee welfare program in PT Tirta Investama (Danone AQUA) Airmadidi. Results based on Importance Performance Analysis, which are: National security for the workforce (JAMSOSTEK/BPJS) Membership and Economic enterprise are located in quadrant I “concentrate here” (high importance, low performance), Outside workplace accident insurance, Life insurance, Place of worship and Recreation are located in quadrant II “keep up the good work” (high importance, high performance), Sport & Art are located in quadrant III “low priority” (low importance, low performance). There is no program that located in quadrant IV “possible overkill” (low importance, high performance).Keywords: importance and performance analysis, employee welfare

Abstract

Abstract: Intrinsic rewards are very important part in an organization that sometimes has been forgotten its importance. It has such a big relation with organizational performance. But some organization or company only relaying on extrinsic rewards or salary in terms of developing and maintaining the organizational performance or employees’ performance. There are four descriptions about intrinsic rewards that has been used in this research which are, sense of meaningfulness, sense of choice, sense of competence and sense of progress. The aim of this study is to analyze the relation between intrinsic rewards and organizational performance. This research is casual types of research which uses qualitative analysis interview method to explore the relation between Intrinsic Rewards and Organizational Performance in Karang Taruna Manado. And it has been found the importance of intrinsic rewards and how big its relation with organizational performance. Abstract

Abstract: The fast-food consumption continues to increase in popularity, and consumers usually make evaluations based on their past personal experience. The purpose of this research is to know the result of consumer?s evaluation towards price bundling in McDonald?s Manado. This research is a qualitative analysis interview, the population in this research is the customers of McDonald?s Manado, and using the purposive sampling as the research method. The variables used in this research were taken from the literature to determine the result of consumer?s evaluation towards price bundling. The data were gathered through interview with the informants and examination of the literature review from previous researches. The result showed that all of the informants share the same opinion about price bundling that it really does affect their final thoughts about price bundling in McDonald?s Manado. The conclusion is the price bundling strategy works well, the variety of meal package really helps customers in making their decision when ordering their desired meal, and the customers also considered that the price for the meal package is rather cheaper. They stated that the meal package is well worth the price, the customers really satisfied with what the McDonald?s has to offer.Keywords: consumer?s evaluation, price bundling

Abstract

In the accounting system cash outlay necessary to procedure well and in accordance with established policy cash expenditures made outside the prescribed procedure, the possibility of fraud, theft, and embezzlement cash. So that can be said that the better expenditure accounting systems and procedures cash will be able to do it in the trust account the amount of cash in the financial statement. The problem in this study is how the implementation process payroll payments to the Civil Service Training Agency of North Sulawesi. The purpose of this study to evaluate the application of the accounting system cash expenditures, the payment of salaries of civil servants in the province of North Sulawesi training agency. This study is a descriptive research using qualitative methods in which an analysis is collecting, collating, and processing, in order to provide an overview of a particular state so that it can be deduced.Based on the results of the study indicate that the accounting. System is cash expenditure on Training Agency of North Sulawesi is generally well under Permendagri Number. 13 of 2006.
