Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of the form and referent nicknames of adolescents. The nickname indicated the freedom of language that comes from adolescents identity. The method of this study is descriptive qualitative method of nicknames used by participants as research data. The participants are teenage students. Data collected using questionnaire technique and analysis technique used pragmatic matching technique to analyze the form of nicknames and the referential matching technique to analyze the nickname referent. The results showed that the various forms of nicknames included the use of likenesses, mention of distinctive traits, events, names of parents, occupations, likes and negations. Relative nicknames use harsh vocabulary and referents are negative / bad. The use of nicknames among adolescents as a form of expression of feelings (intimacy) adolescents towards others. This familiarity is manifested in the use of harsh and negative nicknames, but there is no problem or offense for the subject.

Abstract

Desa Duwet mempunyai kawasan yang berpotensi dikembangkan menjadi tempat wisata. Namun belum mempunyai rancangan pengembangannya. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk merancang desain visual wisata di wilayah Dempuk sebagai bahan pengajuan proposal pembangunan wisata di Dempuk. Metode yang digunakan adalah perancangan dengan menggunakan aplikasi SketchUp 2017 dan Render Lumion 3D. Adapun kegiatan yang dilakukan untuk melakukan perancangan adalah: observasi, berdiskusi tentang kepentingan tujuan, pemanfaatan, dan spot yang akan dirancang, mengumpulkan sumber bahan dan perangkat, merancang, mendiskusikan rancangan awal, memresentasikan hasil revisi, dan menyerahkan hasil rancangan ke pihak desa, Pokdarwis, dan Perhutami. Perancangan dilakukan dengan kegiatan membuat model berdasarkan bentang alam hutan menggunakan aplikasi SketchUp 2017, selanjutnya merender untuk menghasilkan kesan nyata. Hasil perancangan berupa desain visual wisata alam Padas Dempuk yang meliputi gapura masuk, kawasan trail, taman bunga, jembatan, spot foto utama, area makan, toilet, dan bumi perkemahan. Hasil rancangan telah dipersentasikan di hadapan perangkat desa dan Pokdarwis; serta telah disetujui oleh pihak Desa Duwet. Selanjutnya, rancangan tersebut ditindaklanjuti dengan pembangunan kawasan wisata di Dempuk dengan menggunakan anggaran tahun 2021.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPendidikan di Panti Asuhan Baitur Rohmah Al-Amanah diarahkan pada pengembangan jiwa kewirausahaan agar kelak anak asuh dapat hidup secara mandiri dan menjadi pelopor pemberdayaan masyarakat. Hal ini dilakukan melalui rintisan usaha produksi pizza dan kue kering. Akan tetapi, usaha ini belum disertai dengan pengetahuan dan keterampilan cara mengelola keuangan, sehingga usaha pizza dan kue kering belum terlalu berkembang. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ditujukan pada pemberian pengetahuan dan keterampilan manajemen keuangan. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan dan pendampingan manajemen keuangan. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan dengan metode penugasan, observasi, dan wawancara. Hasil kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan meningkatkan 80% pengetahuan dan keterampilan mitra dalam manajemen keuangan berupa keterampilan mitra dalam menentukan harga pokok, menentukan harga jual yang layak, serta menentukan laba dan rugi. Seluruh kegiatan pengabdian berjalan sesuai dengan rencana. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini diharapkan dapat dilanjutkan pada pembuatan label atau merek pizza dan kue kering, manajemen pemasaran, dan pengurusan P-IRT. Kata kunci: manajemen keuangan; pizkuker; panti asuhan. ABSTRACTEducation at Baitur Rohmah Al-Amanah orphanage is directed at developing an entrepreneur spirit so in the future, the foster children can live independently and become pioneers of community empowerment. This is done through a pioneering pizza and pastry production business. However, this business has not been accompanied by knowledge and skills on how to manage finances, so the pizza and pastry business has not been very well developed. Therefore, this community service activities are aimed at providing financial management knowledge and skills. The method used is financial management training and assistance. Evaluation of activities is carried out by the method of assignment, observation, and interviews. The results of training and mentoring activities increase 80% of partners' knowledge and skills in financial management are in the form of the partner skills in determining cost of goods, determining a reasonable selling price, and determining profit and loss. All service activities went according to plan. This community service activity is expected to be continued in making pizza and pastry labels or brands, marketing management, and managing P-IRT. Keywords: financial management; pizkuker; orphanage..

Abstract

This study aims to develop an android-based learning media for introducing Javanese script to fourth graders of an elementary school named SIJARWA. The type of research conducted is research and development using the R&D method with the ADDIE model which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The validation carried out by the researchers included the validation of material experts, linguists, and props experts. The data analysis technique used is the feasibility of media quality using a questionnaire instrument. The results showed that the SIJARWA learning media is suitable for use as a learning resource for fourth- grade elementary school students

Abstract

One way to help preserve the Javanese language is through learning. To preserve the Javanese language, a deeper introduction is necessary so that it can be effectively applied in the surrounding environment. The issue faced is that students find Javanese language learning boring because teachers need to use instructional media that can enhance the quality of Javanese language education. The purpose of this research is to evaluate how effectively e-comic media improves the knowledge of 3rd-grade students in understanding Javanese folktales. This research employs a quasi-experimental and quantitative methodology. The non-equivalent control group design is the type of quasi-experimental approach used. The data collection method utilized is testing. Instrument tests used include validity tests, reliability tests, difficulty level analysis, discriminative power, and distractor function. The prerequisite tests used are normality tests and homogeneity tests. The hypothesis test used is the T-test. According to the data, the experimental class outperformed the control class in terms of improvement. The experimental class achieved an average post-test score of 76.6, while the control class averaged 64.3. The experimental class showed a score increase of 21 points, or 37.77%, whereas the control class improved by 16.27%. These findings support the hypothesis that e-comic media positively affects student learning outcomes. Additionally, the school will adopt this media so it can be adapted to the narratives present in the relevant curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the improvement of poetry writing skills through learning media applied in Indonesian language learning in the material of writing poetry in class VIII F SMP Negeri 12 Malang. This research is a type of Classroom Action Research (PTK) with a qualitative descriptive approach. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII-F SMP Negeri 12 Malang. Sources of data in this study are observation sheets of students and teachers, questionnaires, interviews, pre-tests, post-tests, and results/products. Data collection techniques in this research are observation, interview, questionnaire, and test. The results of this study show the process of improving the ability to write poetry in class VII-F SMP Negri 12 Malang can be seen from the evaluation results which show significant developments in the ability of students to write poetry. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the application of serialized images has proven effective in improving the ability of students in writing poetry. This is shown in the increase in the value of students from cycle 1 to cycle 2. The completeness value of learning outcomes in writing poetry in cycle 1 averaged 72, while the average in cycle 2 rose to 86. The use of serial image media can be applied in learning to write poetry. In addition to pictures and sample sheets of poetry text, the use of these media is recommended to provide examples of the application of the media.
