Abstract

Konvergensi media saat ini telah mampu menggabungkan dan mengintergrasikan media konvensional ke dalam bentuk digitalisasi informasi, salah satunya menggunakan platform media sosial diantaranya melalui facebook dan instagram yang populer dengan jumlah pengguna terbanyak. Media sosial tidak hanya digunakan perusahaan atau brand, tapi banyak pula pihak secara individu diantaranya pejabat public yang melakukan kegiatan online personal branding di media sosial. Ridwan Kamil dengan followers sebanyak 6 juta, seorang pejabat publik yang aktif melalui instagram untuk membentuk personal branding. Penelitian ini menganalisa pengaruh online personal branding terhadap minat pemilih pemula di Pilkada Jawa Barat 2018.

Abstract

Abstrak - Perkembangan dunia perfilman saat ini sudah berkembang pesat, tak terkecuali di Indonesia. Berbagai tema film telah diproduksi sebagai sarana hiburan maupun penyampaian pesan bagi khalayaknya. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeksipsikan pesan (message) yang disampaikan dalam sebuah film dengan menganalisis isi (content analysis) secara kualitatif dalan paparan cerita film “Nanti Kita Cerita Tentang Hari INI (NKCTHI)” yang bergenre drama keluarga yang telah mendeskripsikan tentang kedudukan dan peran seorang lelaki, suami dan ayah dalam sebuah keluarga yang digugat oleh anak-anaknya sesuai perkembangan jaman mereka. Pesan cerita film NKCTHI ini menggugat dominasi laki-laki sebagai suami dan sekaligus ayah dalam latar belakang masyarakat yang masih patriarki, dimana otoritas dan pusat kekuasaan masih dominan pada laki-laki.       Kata Kunci– film, analisis isi, kualitatif, komunikasi massa, mediaAbstract – Expanded growth in film industry all over the worlds, include Indonesia to released many theme and variant genre of movies for entertaintment and delivered messages for target audiences. Abstract

The aim of this research to identify messages in growing up milk TV commercial. This study use content analysis and semiotic analysis from Roland Barthes who emphasis interaction between textual with personal experiences and cultural behavior. Impact of growing up milk advertisement give  ‘message’ to mothers as audience target that growing up milk consumption make their children as a winner, super kid, genius, best achiever on study and their dreams. The advertisement was constructed children intelegent reality on mothers which correlated growing up milk consumption as seen on TV commercial.  Keywords: semiotic analysis, media effect, advertising, children, television

Abstract

Sandiaga Uno has been known as a young entrepreneur, and has the competence to maximize small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), and increase the participation of Jakarta citizens to build the Capital, by creating jobs. After being elected as the Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta, Sandiaga Uno increasingly intensively in building his personal branding . The purpose of this study was to determine how much interest women voters have towards the personal branding strategy undertaken by Sandiaga Uno. To be able to lead Indonesia in 2019, Sandiaga Uno needs a strategy developed by Political public relations practitioners. The concept used in this study revolves around personal branding with three main elements in building good personal branding and aspects of interest that are complemented by the concepts of political marketing and political public relations. The approach used in this research is quantitative with a positivist paradigm. While the method used is a survey method in the form of a questionnaire distributed to 100 respondents who are women voters in the Greater Jakarta electoral district. The results of the study show that the influence of Sandiaga Uno's personal branding as a Vice-Presidential candidate on the interests of female voters by 53% can be categorized as strong.

Abstract

The movement of the Power of Emak-Emak in the 2019 Presidential Election became significant considering a large number of female voters in the 2019 Presidential Election. Besides potential voters, women were also active social media users. This study aims to see the meaning of mothers towards the movement of The Power of Emak-Emak in relation to women's political participation in Indonesia. This study uses the Reception Analysis by Stuart Hall. The approach used is qualitative by conducting in-depth interviews with four active social media users. The results of the study showed that the dominant meaning of The Power of Emak-Emak Movement was part of the active role in women's political participation in the 2019 Presidential Election.

Abstract

The development of digital technology especially in the field of communication, which is growing rapidly has changed the media environment. The newly implemented national digital broadcasting system in Indonesia will also change viewing patterns and audience habits. Aim this study to explain how to audience perceived after switch from analog to digital in broadcasting media. Starting  Analog Switch Off (AS0) national broadcasting system with migration process from analog to digital going on November 2nd, 2022.  A Long journey to forward to digitalization until governemt policy decided UU Cipta Kerja Omnibus Law on November 22nd, 2020 as legal based for apllied digitalization on broadcasting in Indonesia. This research used Qualitative method with Fenomenology, and the results is positively respond from audiences because with digitalization on broadcasting has more clearly and sharper picture (visual) and audio better than analog.

Abstract

Masalah disektor perumahan ini menjadi salah satu perhatian dari pemerintahan Presiden Joko Widodo, maka lahirlah kebijakan Program Satu Juta Rumah (PSR). Persoalan yang kemudian muncul adalah bagaimana program ini mampu menjangkau kelompok Masyarakat Berpenghasilan Rendah (MBR). Berbagai strategi komunikasi digunakan untuk mensukseskan PSR dengan kolaborasi strategi media, desain instruksional, partisipatori, dan pemasaran. Tujuan penelitian melihat komunikasi yang digunakan pemerintah atau pihak terkait dalam menyosialisasikan PSR kepada MBR, termasuk media, pesan, dan saluran yang digunakan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi kualitatif dengan metode wawancara dan dokumentasi. Key informant dalam penelitian ini adalah Humas Ditjen Perumahan PUPR, tenaga fasilitator lapangan, pengembang perumahan dan dokumentasi dari berbagai sumber. Hasil kajian menyimpulkan komunikasi pembangunan melibatkan berbagai unsur mulai dari pemerintah, sektor swasta, akademisi, serta komunitas masyarakat. Tahapan komunikasi dilakukan dengan tahapan identifikasi sasaran dilanjutkan sosialisasi dengan menyebarluaskan pesan komunikasi yang bersifat informatif, persuasif, dan instruktif didukung dengan teknologi komunikasi, serta adanya partisipasi aktif dari sasaran pembangunan itu sendiri. Kata Kunci: Komunikasi Pembangunan, Masyarakat Berpenghasilan Rendah, Program Sejuta Rumah

Abstract

This study explores the phenomenon of sharenting as a form of parental self-presentation on social media, particularly Instagram. Utilizing a qualitative approach with a netnographic method, this research analyzes two Instagram accounts, @mas_natsuki and @sana.arra_, to understand how parents share their children's lives and how public responses are formed, which can encompass various aspects related to interactions and participation from users commenting on the posts made on the accounts @mas_natsuki and @sana.arra_. The findings of this study reveal that the practice of sharing content can have both positive and negative impacts, depending on how and in what context the content is shared. The account @mas_natsuki demonstrates an educational, privacy-conscious, and inspirational approach, while @sana.arra_ reflects a more controversial form of sharenting that leads to online bullying. Based on the results of this research, it is recommended that parents cultivate ethical awareness and digital literacy when sharing content related to their children online, in order to balance self-expression, education, and child protection.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the adaptation process of broadcasters about the migration from analog to digital broadcasting system in the Analog Switch Off (ASO) process being carried out since November 2, 2022 in the national broadcasting system. According to the Omnibus Law specially in article 60A (paragraph2) that migration of terrestrial broadcasting (free to air) from analog system to digital technology and termination of the analog broadcast process must be completed no later than two years. This qualitative research will conduct in-depth interviews to find out an experience and understanding, what is felt broadcasters and think about in the adaptation process. The research results, in general, the process of digitizing broadcasting is a necessity. The socialization and demanding for Set Top Box (STB) that the community needs, as well as the readiness of infrastructure is the challenges for next steps, changes media landscape, competition mapping, viewing preferences to preferred contents. For broadcast must be more efficient and conditioned the role of multi-tasking and more efforts to attract the attention of audiences. The recommendations suggested, the socialization of migration of the national broadcasting system (ASO) must continues, the provision of Set Top Box (STB) tools must be more equitable and affordable for all levels of society.

Abstract

Literasi tentang informasi kekerasan dan perasaan tidak aman bagi siswa pada usia Sekolah Menengah Pertama dalam menggunakan media sosial sangat diperlukan, dengan tujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa tentang kekerasan dalam media sosial. Perasaan tidak aman tidak hanya terjadi bagi mereka dalam berkegiatan sehari-hari di dunia nyata, dalam dunia maya pun perasaan tidak aman ini juga sangat mungkin terjadi. Ini terlihat dari banyaknya kasus-kasus kekerasan yang terjadi khususnya di media sosial. Permasalahan yang ditemukan adalah banyaknya kasus kekerasan dalam media sosial banyak terjadi pada anak-anak khususnya mereka yang berusia 13-15 tahun. Anak-anak pada usia ini  merupakan usia rentan menjadi korban kekerasan dalam media sosial. Solusi untuk menghadapi permasalahan yang ditawarkan Tim Pengabdian masyarakat  adalah literasi digital yang diberikan kepada 40 orang siswa MTs Al Falah yang duduk sebagai pengurus Organisasi Siswa Intra Sekolah (OSIS) dalam bentuk workshop literasi digital. Workshop dilaksanakan pada tanggal 26 Oktober 2023 dan 5 Juni 2024. Beberapa isu yang memungkinkan menimbulkan perasaan tidak aman bagi siswa berusia sekolah menengah pertama adalah kekerasan, stereotyping, penyalahgunaan narkotika, kepanikan dan ketakutan-ketakutan lainnya. Media dianggap memiliki kecenderungan secara ekstensif dan tidak proporsional menampilkan dan menayangkan berita atau informasi tentang kekerasan. Kata Kunci: Informasi kekerasan, media sosial, perasaan tidak aman
