Abstract

Fishermen cooperative is expected to be an economic entity that plays a significant role in enhancing welfare of fishermen. Through the cooperatives, fishermen are having opportunities to scale-up their resources and strengthen their position in the fishery supply chain system. Using a fishermen cooperative (the co-op) as a case, this study aims to build business process map in order to facilitate the assessment of co-op’s performance. The map is developed based on the data collected mainly by observation and interview with the board of the cooperative. The study reveals that the cooperative has no both clear pattern of business process and measured performance. The study proposes the business process map with clear pattern so that the performance of the co-op can be measured objectively. The co-op needs to be accompanied and supervised by strongly related stakeholders (in particular the Government) in an attempt apply the map. The map will be more favourable if there is a further research on developing supply chain model of the cooperatives.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Ekspektasi sekaligus realitas terhadap sesuatu dapat menimbulkan kesan, pembentukan citra, keyakinan, persepsi, kognisi, sikap, motivasi, dan tindakan. Artikel ini menyajikan hasil kajian adanya fenomena partisipasi anggota koperasi yang tinggi yang berawal dari tingkat sukarelaan anggota yang tinggi sebagai akibat dari pelayanan yang prima pada suatu koperasi. Dengan menggunakan metode studi kasus, dengan analisis multikriteria dan analisis korelasi, maka diperoleh hasil kajian yang menunjukkan bahwa pencitraan yang positif melalui pelayanan prima pada unit usaha simpan pinjam koperasi dapat memberikan manfaat internal dan eksternal bagi pengembangan koperasi. Pencitraan koperasi memiliki hubungan yang erat dengan partisipasi anggota baik sebagai pemilik maupun pelanggan. Semakin baik citra koperasi dimata anggota dalam pelayanannya maka semakin tinggi partisipasi kontributif dan insentifnya. Kata kunci : citra, partisipasi, anggota, koperasi, layanan prima ABSTRACT Expectations as well as the reality of something can create an impression, image formation, belief, perception, cognition, attitude, motivation, and action. This article presents the results of the study of the phenomenon of participation of members of a high co-operative which started from the high volunteer level of members as a result of excellent service in a cooperative. By using case study method, with multicriteria analysis and correlation analysis, the result of the study showed that positive image through excellent service at cooperative savings and loan business unit can provide internal and external benefit for cooperative development. Cooperative imaging has a close relationship with the participation of both members as owners and customers. The better the image of the cooperative in its service, so the higher the contribution and incentive participation of its members. Abstract

Kegiatan pendidikan broadcasting merupakan wujud semangat kerjasama antar penyiar, panitiaSwara Radio dengan masyarakat (pemuda) sekitar kampus Jatinangor. Kegiatan pendidikanbroadcasting berisi uraian kronologi broadcasting, pendekatan komunikasi, dan dokumentasiseluruh kegiatan agar semua pihak dapat mengetahui dengan jelas gambaran jalannya kegiatan ini.Kegiatan dilakukan melalui serangkaian persiapan, lomba adlibs, dan diklat broadcasting. Hasilkegiatan ini dapat memberikan dukungan pengetahuan, keterampilan masyarakat pemuda sekitarkampus dalam memahami “broadcasting” keterampilan berbicara, keterampilan penyiaran, termasukpertimbangan moral maupun materi berkaitan dengan broadcasting, di samping mampu membangunikatan kerjasama mahasiswa dengan masyarakat sekitar kampus yang lebih baik dan lebih kuat.Pemahaman terhadap penyusunan kata dan frase suatu iklan pada saat maupun akhir waktu programsiaran radio sangat menentukan efektivitas sajian dan komunikasi dalam penyiaran, sehinggaketerampilan membuat adlibs dan cara penyajian adlibs dalam siaran radio sangatlah strategis bagipara awak dan penyiar radio

Abstract

Bahan pokok dan kebutuhan dasar masyarakat berupa pangan dan sandang masih menduduki prioritas kebutuhan konsumsi, sehingga usaha retail menjadi pilihan utama bagi para pelaku usaha, terlebih bagi usaha mikro dan kecil walau dihadapkan pada berbagai keterbatasan. Guna meraih peluang pasar ini, maka para pelaku usaha mikro dan kecil di Kota Ambon berusaha membuka warung, toko, dan gerai dengan berbagai jenis barang dan layanan jasa yang diproduksi, baik makanan, non makanan, minuman, maupun layanan jasa. Perkembangan pasar yang semakin cepat dan modern, serta mengingat pentingnya literasi bagi peningkatan kesadaran model dan efisiensi bisnis bagi pelaku UMKM, maka dirasa perlu dilakukan pelatihan manajemen retail agar nilai tambah dan manfaat bisnis retail yang didapat mereka menjadi optimal secara ekonomi dan berkelanjutan. Pemahaman terhadap akses pemasaran, akses informasi, akses keuangan, dan manajerial dalam bisnis retail sangat dibutuhkan, sehingga materi pelatihan menyangkut kelayakan usaha, penetapan harga, tata cara pelayanan pengelolaan toko, membangun keefektifan bisnis retail, kiat memperoleh pelanggan, dan pengelolaan aliran dana dalam usaha. Metode yang dilakukan berupa pelatihan terstruktur, partisipatif, permainan (games), bermain peran, dan kolaborasi antar peserta, monitoring, dan evaluasi. Langkah awal pelatihan dilakukan dengan analisis kebutuhan, pengenalan dan efisiensi bisnis retail, pentingnya perilaku wirausaha, dan karakteristik bisnis retail, strategi bisnis, logistik dan pemasaran pada bisnis retail. Selanjutnya, diberikan rangkaian materi pelatihan berhitung kelayakan usaha secara sederhana, penggunaan media sosial sebagai fasilitas transaksi bisnis dan penjualan produk, dan mengevaluasi kesuskesan bisnis. Hasil monitoring dan evaluasi menunjukkan keaktifan setiap peserta dalam mengikuti pelatihan dan sajian materi serta dinilai cukup efektif, karena terjadi transformasi pemahaman mengenai bisnis retail yang muncul dari perubahan sikap dan kemampuan peserta yang meningkat.

Abstract

Kemampuan merancangbangun sediaan informasi, tata cara olahan data dan visualisasi informasi menjadi bahan pengambilan keputusan sangat diperlukan bagi pengelola pengurus koperasi dalam mengelola organisasi dan usaha koperasi. Proses pemilihan alternatif, model pengambilan keputusan dan tindak lanjut keputusan menjadi kebutuhan bagi pengurus dalam melaksanakan fungsi pengarahan dan pengendalian informasi bagi pelayanan, promosi, dan hubungan pasar. Artikel ini mendeskripsikan pendidikan dan pelatihan pemecahan masalah dan pengambilan keputusan bagi pengurus koperasi dengan multi metode terdapat komponen utama pengenalan masalah dan pemecahanan, serta model pengambilan keputusan, yaitu definisi dan pemecahan masalah, cara pemecahan masalah, proses pengambilan keputusan, kemampuan pengambilan keputusan, strukturisasi pemecahan masalah, pendekatan dan model pengambilan keputusan, pemecahan masalah melalui peta strategik. Penguatan pengurus dan atau anggota koperasi sebagai calon pengurus koperasi mampu mengenali masalah secara tepat, memberikan solusi alternatif dalam mengatasi masalah yang dihadapi, dan mengambil keputusan dengan berbagai pilihan modelnya. Pendidikan dan pelatihan sebagai bentuk pengabdian kepada masyarakat bermanfaat bagi upaya pencapaian tujuan pelayanan koperasi kepada anggotanya, mempromosi usaha anggota, meningkatkan akses informasi pasar, meningkatnya ekonomi anggota, mempermudah akses manajemen dan keuangan koperasi, serta layanan anggota koperasi.

Abstract

Changes in consumer lifestyle have led to an increasing demand of organic products. The government supports the growth of the organic-product trend by establishing 1000 organic-farming village program. The transformation of farming method from the conventional (inorganic) one to the organic one certainly imposes risks that need to be considered. This study aims to analyze the differences of production risks and income risk between organic and inorganic coffee farmers. The research was conducted in Margamulya Village, Pangalengan District, West Java, which was purposively chosen because Margamulya Village is the center of coffee production in West Java and is one of the villages selected in the 1000 organic-farming-village program. The samples used in this study amounted to 56 respondents, which consisted of 28 organic farmers and 28 conventional farmers that were obtained through Slovin’s formula and selected by simple random method. The method used in this research was comparative quantitative research method. The data were analyzed using comparative analysis by coefficient comparison analysis of production risks and income risks. The results show that the production risks and income risks of inorganic coffee farmers are higher than those of organic farmers. Keywords: Organic Coffee, Production Risks, Income Risks

Abstract

This study aims to determine the performance of the soybean business unit of the Indonesian Tempe and Tofu Producers Cooperative in Kuningan Regency using the balanced scorecard method. This research is a case study. The research informants were 3 administrators, 3 supervisors and managers, 8 employees, and 62 members of the Indonesian Tempe and Tofu Producers Cooperative, Kuningan Regency. The object of this research is the soybean business unit of the Indonesian Tempe and Tofu Producers Cooperative in Kuningan Regency which is analyzed using the Balanced Scorecard from a financial perspective, a customer or member perspective, an internal business perspective, and a learning and growth perspective. The results of the research on performance achievement in the soybean business unit of the Indonesian Tempe and Tofu Producers Cooperative in Kuningan Regency show that the financial perspective is in the negative criteria, the customer perspective has good criteria, the internal business perspective is in very good criteria, the learning and growth perspective is quite good.

Abstract

The industrial revolution in the agricultural sector is faced with demographic challenges (ageing), so intelligent technology, artificial intelligence, big data, and augmented reality are strategic choices. The application of information technology has a direct or indirect impact on Indonesia's agricultural sector, so coffee agribusiness cooperatives' information and communication technology (ICT) is also increasingly needed to respond to market demand. Along with the development of automation, physical, cyber systems and IoT, coffee cooperatives need to be ready and adapt to the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 in capturing market demand opportunities, value chains, and the added value of coffee agribusiness. ICT's presence can improve the performance and institutional sustainability of coffee farmers in rural areas, including cooperatives. Performance is a description of the achievement of organizational tasks to realize the goals, objectives, mission and vision of the organization and its business. The performance of the cooperative describes the services provided to its members and the community/farmers as measured by using indicators to see the working mechanism of the organization and its business that has been carried out and to determine the achievement of the objectives obtained. Meanwhile, the ability to innovate is essential, especially the use of ICT, which is deemed necessary to support the performance and sustainability of coffee cooperatives, so that cooperatives can compete, be stable, or survive in the era of increasing free competition. . Quantitative descriptive method with Linear Regression analysis was used to identify the effect of cooperative capability on the performance and sustainability of cooperatives in several coffee cooperatives in West Java. The study's results found that the power of the cooperative did not significantly affect the performance of the Coffee Cooperative. Still, the capability of the cooperative had a positive and significant effect on the sustainability of the Coffee Cooperative. At the same time, the performance of the cooperative has a positive and significant impact on the sustainability of the coffee cooperative. The ability of cooperatives has a positive and significant effect on sustainability mediated by the performance of the Coffee Cooperative in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era. This study recommends increasing the capabilities of cooperatives in membership, management, and business models to become sustainable cooperatives based on information technology to achieve added value from market-driven coffee products.

Abstract

Natural resources owned by rural areas in the South West Java region are a potential blessing for village development from an economic, social, and environmental perspective. Identification and inventory activities are carried out on the potential resources of Taraju Village, through a series of surveys and collaborative discussions. The results will be taken into consideration for the preparation of master-plan rural community economic development based on tourism villages. The results of this activity can provide support for community economic activists and youth in understanding the "composition master-plan tourism village” including physical, socio-economic, sociocultural and economic-environmental considerations. The activity is oriented towards exploiting the natural, socio-economic potential in the village which can provide added value and higher use value in improving the standard of living of the community, and being stronger in preserving nature based on tourism and the community. Identification and inventory of village tourism activities and attractions from the start as well as the implementation of rural tourism economic programs are very important because they will determine the performance achievements of rural tourism. These two activities provide direct and indirect benefits from tourism villages that have positive and sustainable impacts, especially related to infrastructure needs and added value. Moreover, considerations of economic, social, and environmental feasibility can be obtained for increasing the economic welfare of rural communities from the design of these tourist activities and attractions.

Abstract

Masa pandemi covid-19 masih belum berakhir, walaupun sudah mulai terjadi penurunan. Kegiatan masyarakat sudah mulai menggeliat termasuk sektor parawisata, sehingga untuk mengantisipasinya  yaitu melalui penerapan CHSE (cleanliness, Health, Safety and Environmental Sustainability) yang diawali dengan adanya sosialisasi. Sosialisasi CHSE  diberikan ke pengelola/pemilik homestay dan stakeholder lain di desa wisata Alamendah. Homestay di desa wisata Alamendah ada 3 type yaitu homestay dengan halaman luas, homestay di pinggir jalan dan homestay di tengah perkampungan penduduk. Hasil pelatihan  menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan dan sikap pengelola/pemilik homestay mengenai CHSE namun dalam implementasinya pada ketiga type homestay masih belum sepenuhnya diterapkan dengan alasan karena wisatawan yang menginap belum banyak. Diharapkan penerapan CHSE ini menjadi kebiasaan baru dalam pengelolaan homestay sebagai salah satu daya tarik bagi wisatawan
