AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Batang Anai tahun pelajaran 2016/2017, siswa malu bertanya dan tidak berani mengeluarkan pendapat di dalam kelas, siswa hanya mengerti saat mendengarkan penjelasan dari guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui apakah pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dengan menerapkan Teknik Spotlight lebih baik dari pada pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dengan pembelajaran konvensional pada kelas VIII SMPN 1 Batang Anai Padang Pariaman. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian eksperimen, dengan rancangan penelitian random terhadap subjek. Populasi penelitian adalah semua siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Batang Anai tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 yang terdiri dari enam kelas. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara acak, terpilih kelas VIII2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII4 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instumen penelitian adalah tes pemahaman konsep matematis. Bentuk tes yang digunakan adalah bentuk uraian dengan reliabilitas tes 0,780. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji t satu pihak. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh nilai thitung =1,833 dan ttabel= 1,67. Hipotesis diterima karena thitung > ttabel, sehingga hipotesis yang diajukan diterima pada taraf nyata α = 0,05. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dengan penerapan strategi spotlight lebih baik daripada pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dengan pembelajaran konvensional di kelas VIII SMPN 1 Batang Anai.Kata Kunci: Spotlight, Pemahaman Konsep.AbstractThis research is motivated by the lack of understanding of mathematical concepts in the VIII class at SMPN 1 Batang Anai 2016/2017 school year, students are embarrassed to ask and do not come forward and speak in the classroom, the students only understand when listening to the explanation from the teacher. This study aims to determine whether the student's understanding of mathematical concepts by applying the technique Spotlight better than on understanding mathematical concepts students with conventional learning in the VIII class at SMPN 1 Batang Anai, Padang Pariaman. This type of research is experimental research, the design of randomized trials on the subject. The study population was all students of class VIII SMPN 1 Batang Anai 2016/2017 academic year consisting of six classes. The sampling technique is done randomly selected the VIII2 class as an experimental class and the VIII4 class as the control class. Research instrument is a test of understanding mathematical concepts. The shape of the test used is the narrative form with the reliability of the test. The data analysis technique used is the test of the party. Based on the hypothesis test results obtained by value t = 1.833 and table = 1.67. Accepted hypothesis for t> t table, so the hypothesis is accepted at significance level α = 0.05. It can be concluded that students understanding of mathematical concepts with the application strategy better spotlight than understanding students mathematical concepts with conventional learning in the class of VIII at SMPN 1 Batang Anai.Keyword: Spotlight, understanding of concepts.

This research is motivated by the many mistakes made by students in solving story problems. The purpose of this study was to find out the mistakes made by students in solving story problems on Trigonometry material and to find out the causes of errors made by students in working on story problems on Trigonometry material. This research method uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were students of class X IPS SMA PGRI 3 Padang in the 2020/2021 academic year who had been selected by total sampling. Instruments used for data collection in the form of tests, interviews, and documentation. The test results were analyzed based on the error according to Newman. The results showed that some students made mistakes in understanding, errors in transforming, errors in processing skills, errors in writing the final answer. The cause of this error is that students do not know what is actually being asked in the problem, and accidentally get information on the question, so they cannot complete the information for the next step, do not understand how it turns into a question. mathematical models, and not proficient in counting. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan banyaknya kesalahan yang dilakukan peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita. Instrument yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data berupa tes, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil tes dianalisis berdasarkan kesalahan menurut Newman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagian siswa melakukan kesalahan dalam memahami, kesalahan dalam mentransformasi, kesalahan dalam keterampilan proses kesalahan penulisan jawaban akhir. Penyebab kesalahan ini adalah siswa tidak mengetahui apa yang sebenarnya ditanyakan dalam soal, dan tidak sengaja mendapatkan informasi pada soal tersebut, sehingga mereka tidak dapat melengkapi informasi untuk langkah selanjutnya, tidak mengerti bagaimana menjelma menjadi sebuah pertanyaan. model matematika, dan tidak mahir dalam menghitung.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku kerja berbasis konstruktivisme yang valid untuk materi himpunan di STKIP PGRI Sumatera Barat. Materi himpunan diajarkan pada mata kuliah Pengantar Dasar Matematika pada mahasiswa semester 2. Penelitian mengikuti model umum desain penelitian Plomp, yaitu preliminary research, prototyping phase, dan assessment phase, yang mana penelitian ini hanya membahas tahap prototyping phase. Tahap preliminary research telah selesai dilaksanakan dengan kesimpulan adalah siswa membutuhkan bahan ajar yang dapat membangun pengetahuan baru sehingga memudahkan mereka dalam memahami materi dan membangun pengetahuan mereka, yaitu buku kerja berbasis konstruktivisme. Data lembar validasi dianalisis secara kuantitatif dengan diperoleh rata-rata 2,82. Hasil angket dan pedoman wawancara menyatakan bahwa buku kerja praktis digunakna. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa buku kerja berbasis konstruktivisme Pengantar Dasar Matematika valid dari segi kelayakan isi, penyajian, kebahasaan, dan kegrafikaan, serta praktis digunakan berdasarkan waktu, penggunaan, dan manfaat.

This research is motivated by students' understanding of mathematical concepts is still low. The purpose of this study was to find out whether students' understanding of mathematical concepts by applying the Think Pair Share learning model is better than students' understanding of mathematical concepts by conventional learning in class X DPIB students of SMK Negeri 5 Padang. This research is a quasi-experimental research with a quasi-experimental design with a posttest only control group design with total sampling as research subjects. The sample of this research is class X students of SMK Negeri 5 Padang. This study used a final test instrument in the form of a description item with reliability = 0.54. The data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on data collection techniques and data analysis performed tcount=2.28 and ttable=1.67 because tcount > ttable then the hypothesis is accepted, thus it can be concluded that student learning outcomes on students' understanding of mathematical concepts by applying the Think Pair Share learning model are better than student learning outcomes on students' understanding of mathematical concepts by applying conventional learning models.

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kurangnya kemampuan komunikasi matematis yang dimiliki siswa pada kegiatan pembelajaran. Salah satu dampak yang terjadi dengan kurangnya kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa pada kegiatan pembelajaran yaitu siswa salah menafsirkan apa yang dimaksud soal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa pada materi sistem persamaan linear dua variabel (SPLDV). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Pengambilan subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 15 Padang. Pengambilan subjek dilakukan dengan 19 siswa dengan memberikan tes kemampuan yang kemudian dari hasil tersebut dipilih 3 subjek penelitian berdasarkan kategori kemampuan rendah, sedang dan tinggi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes tertulis kemampuan komunikasi matematis yang memuat 5 butir soal uraian dengan materi sistem persamaan linear dua variabel (SPLDV), dan pedoman wawancara. Dari hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa tingkat kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika dengan materi sistem persamaan linier dua variabel (SPLDV) dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut: subjek berkemampuan tinggi mencapai lima indikator komunikasi matematis, subjek berkemampuan sedang mencapai tiga indikator komunikasi matematis, dan subjek berkemampuan rendah hanya satu mencapai indikator komunikasi matematis.

The lack of use of technology and communication in the process of learning mathematics and the teaching materials used are still not able to guide students in the learning process. The purpose of this research is to develop an Application-Assisted Project Based Learning (PjBL)-based electronic live worksheet (E-LKPD) with the assistance of a live worksheet application on valid Class X Linear Program material. This type of research is the development of the Plomp model. The instruments used were interview guidelines and questionnaires. The technique of analyzing the data is qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results of the research are the assessments made by mathematicians, namely 92.1% (very valid). The results of the assessment carried out by technology experts were 94.4% (very valid). It is concluded that E-LKPD Based on Project Based Learning Assisted by Liveworksheet Application is very valid and feasible for use by teachers and students.

The current development of digital technology requires the world of education to balance learning by using technology-based learning media. One of the learning media innovations that can be developed is in the form of technology-based teaching materials in the form of electronic modules (e-modules) assisted by Sigil software. This training in making teaching materials is applied to data presentation material, in which the material displays lots of pictures in the form of diagrams to present data so that it is easy to read and understand. This training was conducted with the target of mathematics teachers at SMPN 18 Padang. The purpose of this training is for teachers to be able to make teaching materials assisted by sigil software on data presentation material and other materials and teachers can use teaching materials that have been made in the learning process. The result of this training is that it can facilitate teachers to learn how to make teaching materials with the sigil application and they also understand and practice how to make these teaching materials as evidenced by the results of teaching material products made directly by the training participants.

Based on the results of interviews at partner schools, namely SMPN 27 Padang, it can be seen that the learning process carried out by teachers during the COVID-19 Pandemic is a learning process using throught WhatsApp by giving assignments to students. Therefore, the proposer and partners work together in overcoming these problems through the Community Service (PKM) program. This PKM program aims to increase teachers' knowledge about the application of online learning models, so training on the use of the Quizlet Application for Making Mathematics Problems in Geometry Material been given. The method used in achieving these goals is a simulation method and practice using the Quizlet application. The result of this community service is to increase teacher knowledge in using the Quizlet application in the mathematics learning process.
