The research was due to the lack of studentâs ability in comprehension mathematic concept. Morever, the students seemed to have ineffective discussion within the group during the learning process that their mathematicsâ result were low. The research aimed at finding out whether studentsâ mathematic comprehension which were taught using Student Team Achievement Division with Numbered Heads Together better than that of conventional learning. The design of the research was experimental research. The population was student of grade VIII SMPN 3 Palembayan. Based on the result of random sampling technique, grade VIII3 was chosen as the experimental group, while the grade VIII4 as the control group. The instrument used was an essay test. Based on the data analysis, it was obtained that both class were distributed homogeny and normal. Based on the analysis of hypotesis, it was obtained that the p-value = 0.003 was < Â Â = 0,05. Thus, the hypotesis was accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that studentsâ math consept comprehension using Cooperative Learning Model Student Team Achievement Division with Numbered Heads Together was better than that of conventional technique with the 95% degree of certainty

This research is motivated by the lack of understanding of mathematical concepts and students lack of confidence in his opinion. This study aims to determine how the activity and mathematical concepts student with the application of creative - productive strategy better than the students understanding of mathematical concepts with conventional learning students SMPN 2 Dua class VII Koto Pasaman. This type of research is the design of experimental studies Random Subjects . The population in this study were all students of class VII SMPN 2 Dua Koto Pasaman academic year 2012/2013. Than VII.2 class selected as the experimental class and the control class VII.3 . This research instrument is the final test in the form of essay. Data were analysis with a normality test , homogeneity test and t-test. Based on the analysis of data obtained by the average percentage of student activity during the learning process is increasing and the average results of tests students understanding of mathematical concepts experimental class was 79.48 better than the control class is 35.43 . Hypothesis testing using parties with the help of MINITAB, obtained P -value of 0.000 is smaller than a = 0.05 , so it can be concluded that the students understanding of mathematical concepts by applying creative - productive strategy is better than the students understanding of mathematical concepts conventional teaching class VII SMPN 2 Dua Koto Pasaman.

The introduction of this research was the low of studentsâ understanding of mathematical concept and low of students activities. The purposes of this research was to determine studentsâ understanding of mathematical concept and students activities by applying active learning type instant assessment was better than studentsâ understanding of mathematical concept and students activities by applying conventional teaching class VIII of SMPN 25 Padang. Design of this research was experimental research random on the subject. The populations in this study was student of class VIII, the sample was class VIII.10 as the exsperimental class and the control class VIII.6. instruments in this study was a observation sheet and final test with essay. Data analysis was performed with the MINITABâS program obtained p-value was less than α, the hyphothesis was accepted. It can be concluded the studentsâ understanding of mathematical concept and students activities by inplementing active learning type instant assessment better than studentsâ understanding mathematical concept and students activities by applying conventional teaching class VIII SMPN 25 Padang.

Background of this research is the low of student`s comprehension of mathematical concepts and student`s responsible to their exercises that given by the teacher. The purpose of this research is to know what is student`s comprehension of mathematical concepts at grade VIII MTsN Durian Tarung Padang that use cooperative learning model type Teams-Games-Tournament (TGT) better than convensional model. Kind of this research is experimental research, with research plan is Randomized Control Group Only Design. Population of this research is student`s at grade VIII MTsN Durian Tarung Padang academic year 2012/2013. Sample is grade VIII1 as experiment class and VIII2 as control class. The instrumentation of this research is comprehension test of mathematical concept. The form of test is essay with reliabilitastes is r11= 0,77. Technique of data analysis is used in this research is t-test one side by using software minitab. Based on the result of t-test is P-value = 0,001, it means lower than  = 0,05, therefore hipotesis is accepted furthermove. We can conclude that student`s comprehension of mathematical concept is treated by using cooperative learning model type Teams-Games-Tournament (TGT) better than student`s comprehension of mathematical concept is treated by using convensional learning at grade VIII MTsN Durian Tarung Padang academic year 2012/2013.

The research was background by the result of the studentsâ value is low, studentsâ activity is not effective and the students afraid to extend their idea and their opinion about lesson material that just was learned. The research has purpose to know: 1. how students learning activity in mathematics subject by apply active learning method type Giving Question and Getting Answer faith Quiz at grade VIII students of SMPN 1 Pancung Soal. 2. does the score mathematics that apply active learning method type Giving Question and Getting Answer faith Quiz be better than conventional method. Kind of the research is experimental research. To take the sample by using random sample, VIII.2 as experimental class and VIII.3 as control class. Can conclude that the score of studentsâ mathematics subject by using active learning type Giving Question and Getting Answer faith Quiz be better than the score of learning that apply conventional method.

Background of this research is resulf of studentâs mathematic comprehension on SMPN 1 Sitiung grade VIII are still low it can be seen on their result in first semester in 2012/2013. One solution to improve studentâs mathematic comprehension by applying active learning strategy on Instant Assessment type. This research has a purpose to know whether students mathematic comprehension by applying active learning strategy on Instant Assessment type is better than studentâs mathematic comprehension by applying convensional learning on SMPN 1 Sitiung at VIII grade. The research method is experimental research. The population is studenâs in SMPN 1 Sitiung at grade VIII in 2012/2013 it consists of seven classes. Experimental class is VIII.D and control class is VIII.E the instrument of this research is test of studentâs mathematic comprehension. Test type of this research is essay form the realibility of the test   0,87. Based on the data analysis the researcher found the mean score of students math comprehension in experimental class 75,64 meanwhile in control class is only 53.  It means that the mean score in experimenthal class is higher that control class The analysis of data is done by software MINITAB the researcher got p-value=0,00 it is smaller than . Therefore the researcher conclasdes that students mathematic comprehension by applying actif learning on Instant Assessment type is better than studentâs mathematic comprehension by applying convensional learning it can be proven on 95%.

The research of this background is based on the students understanding of mathematical concepts have minimum level, in pre-teaching, the teacher do not generate interest of the students and do not give motivation to the students, students tend to be passive and reluctant to ask. The aims of This study is to determine whether students understanding of mathematical concepts by applying the Learning Cycle models are better than student understanding of mathematical concepts by applying conventional learning in class XI students of SMA Negeri 15 Padang. Type of this research is experimental research, the researcher choose the sample of research using Random Subjects . The population of this study was four class of XI IPA students of SMA Negeri 15 Padang academic year 2013/2014. The sample was IPA2 class as the experimental class and class XI IPA1 as the control class. The Instruments that used in this research is a test of understanding mathematical concepts. Based on the analysis of the data found that the two classes are normally and homogeneous samples at α = 0.05 and the results obtained from testing the hypothesis P-value = 0.007 means less than α = 0.05, so it means that the hypothesis in this study is received . It can be concluded that the students understanding of mathematical concepts that apply the Learning Cycle Model with taped questions better than students understanding of mathematical concepts by applying conventional learning in class XI student of SMA Negeri 15 Padang.

The  comprehension of the mathematical concept students are still low of class XII IPA SMAN 14 Padang becomes problem which is background this research. Other problems that background this research is students tend to ask their friends compared to teachers in the classroom, but the students discussions no effective. One of the solutions that used to overcome such problem is by implementing The Power of Two. The purpose of this research is to know determine whether students comprehension of mathematical concepts by implementing strategies The Power Of Two is better than student comprehension of mathematical concepts with conventional learning class XII IPA SMAN 14 Padang. This research is experimental research with research design randomized on subject. The data analysis used was one way t test by using program MINITAB. Based on the calculation results obtained P-value = 0.001 is smaller than the significance level (α) = 0,05 so it can be concluded that the students comprehension of mathematical concepts using strategies The Power Of Two is better than the students comprehension of mathematical concepts with conventional learning class XII IPA SMAN 14 Padang.

This research is bacground by students understanding of mathematical concepts is low and students more like ask to their friends without attention a question given correct or incorrect. This reseach aims to know how development of understanding indication of mathematical concepts every meeting and what is studentâs understanding of mathematical concepts with apply cooperative learning model the tipe is Think Pair Share with quiz better than studentâs understanding of mathematical concepts with apple conventional learning in the class MTsN Model Padusunan Pariaman 2013-2014 school year. Kind of research is experimental, with planning research toward subject. Population in research is all of students class VIII with class sample VIII2 as class exsperiment and class VIII4 as class control. Instrument in test research understanding mathematical concept in essay with test reliability is r11 = 0,747. technique of data analysis was T-test. Basic result of testing hypotesis obtained P-value = 0,002 more small than of standar obvious that =0,05. So,to get conclusion that understanding mathematical concepts with apply cooperative learning model the tipe is Think Pair Share with quiz better than studentâs understanding of mathematical concepts with apple conventional learning in the class MTsN Model Padusunan Pariaman at the level of 95%.

The research was background by the understanding of mathematical concept achieved class XI IPASMAN 1 Sungai Beremas Pasaman Barat is still low. This is because the less students construct own knowledge gained from the result of the discussion.Thisresearch purposes to find out if the students mathematical understanding the applying cooperative learning types think talk write better than on a mathematical concept understanding students with conventional learning on student in grade XI IPASMAN 1 Sungai Beremas Pasaman Barat. This is the kind of research experiments. The population in this study are all grade XI IPA SMAN 1 Sungai Beremas Pasaman Barat years lesson 2012/2013. The technique of sampling was done randomly,Selected grade XI IPA.1 as experimental class and XI IPA.2 as the class of the control. The instrument which was used in this research was essay test with index of reliability = 0,85. Mathematical concept understanding test result student class experiments is 80,10and control class is 71,58. Hypothesis testing using the one way of t-test with the help of software MINITAB, obtained P- value of 0,018is smaller than α = 0,05. So it can be concluded the understanding of the mathematical concept of student using cooperative model types think talk write better than on understanding concept that apply to conventional learning at grade XI IPA SMAN 1 Sungai Beremas Pasaman Barat.
