Abstract

This research is aimed to identify students’ misconceptions in proving onto and one-to-one function in Abstract Algebra using CRI (Certainty Response Index), which is an instrument to distinguish misconceptions and errors. This research uses qualitative method. There are eighteen research participants, and they are Mathematics Education students in 3rd semester. Researcher asked participants to solve some problems related to mathematical proof. Then, participants gave score based on their belief or level of certainty. The result shows that ten students get misconceptions. They were weak in understanding the definition of onto and one-to-one function, and are not yet trained to proof onto and one-to-one function in Abstract Algebra. Further, this research also find that the errors of participants in proving mathematics are mainly influenced by errors in algebraic operation.

Abstract

 An inclusive school is a school concept that consciously strives to guarantee children's rights and protection for children with special needs to get adequate and responsible access to education. Therefore, in practice, it refers to the principles of good management. The learning process is based on children's needs, a conducive learning climate, a supportive classroom atmosphere, and the priority of fulfilling children's learning rights. This paper examines the management of inclusive schools in Islamic schools in East Java. The aims of this research are: (1). explore forms of inclusive school policies in Islamic schools in East Java; (2). Describe the implementation of the management of inclusive children's schools in Islamic schools in East Java. Researchers used a qualitative approach with a multi-site research type. Data collection techniques consist of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis with three stages; the first stage is data reduction, data presentation, and triangulation. The results of the study show: (1.) The form of policies implemented in the process of managing inclusive children's schools in Islamic schools in East Java is based on the four pillars of the principles of inclusive children's schools, namely non-discrimination, the best interest for children's growth, respect for children and values beliefs originating from religious teachings; (2.) The implementation of the management of inclusive children's schools begins with the stages of situation analysis, equalization of perceptions, organization and formation of a program implementation team.

Abstract

Islamic-based educational institutions needed to internalize Qur’an and hadith in every lesson. Fractions were one of the main subjects of mathematics taught at the elementary school level. The purpose of the study was to design mathematics learning to fractions based on Qur’an and hadith at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. This study used a qualitative research method with a design research approach of development research type. The results of the study revealed that a learning design could be implemented with a scientific learning approach in fractions learning based on Qur’an and hadith. The verses of the Qur’an and hadith that explicitly mentioned fractional numbers were displayed at the observing stage. Each fractional number in the Qur’an and hadith was illustrated with a length model. Based on the fractional numbers mentioned in the observing stage, students were then directed to submit nutmeg questions in the questioning stage. The questions at the questioning stage were appropriate to the material, then discussed at the reasoning stage while still applying student-centered learning.

Abstract

Instilling an attitude of religious moderation in State Islamic Religious Colleges (PTKIN) can be done using teaching materials based on religious moderation. Unfortunately, there are still few teaching materials that can be used for this purpose. This study aims to produce valid and practical digital-interactive teaching materials for Real Analysis based on religious moderation for PTKIN students in Indonesia. This development research combines the ADDIE model with the 4D model. Several experts were involved as validators and while fifth-semester students in the Mathematics Education Study Program were involved in the trial of the research product. Based on the validation results of material and language experts, teaching materials, and learning technology experts, mathematics learning design experts, and religious moderation experts, it was found that the teaching materials produced were very valid (3.39%). Based on small group trials, large groups, and lecturer responses, it was found that the teaching materials produced were very practical (83.22%). Thus, the digital-interactive teaching materials for Real Analysis based on religious moderation are very suitable for use by PTKIN students in Indonesia.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop an integrative e-module based on numeracy literacy on probability material in the Kurikulum Merdeka that is valid and practical. The type of research used is research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model. The research was conducted at Islamic Senior High School 3 Kediri. Research data was collected from expert validation questionnaires and response questionnaires. The percentage of questionnaire scores obtained by material expert validation was 84%, validation by integration experts was 71.7%, validation by learning experts was 75.2%, and validation by media experts was 98.7%. The teacher response results obtained a score percentage of 96.3%, the student response results in the limited trial were 94.4%, and the student response results in the field trial were 77.4%. The average validation score was 82.4% in the very valid category. The average student and teacher response score was 89.4% in the very practical category. Based on the research and development process, it can be concluded that the integrative e-module product based on numeracy literacy, opportunity material in the Kurikulum Merdeka is very valid and very practical to use.

Abstract

Pembelajaran berbasis Profil Pelajar Pancasila menjadi salah satu bagian penting dalam membentuk karakter dan kompetensi peserta didik. Dalam pembelajaran matematika, integrasi nilai-nilai tersebut dapat dilakukan melalui permainan Truth or Dare yang dirancang untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif, komunikasi, dan kolaborasi. Dengan mengintegrasikan permainan (game) dan aplikasi Barista Android APPS, pembelajaran matematika diharapkan lebih interaktif, menyenangkan, dan efektif dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi nilai-nilai profil pelajar Pancasila yang diimplementasikan melalui permainan Truth or Dare dalam pembelajaran matematika, dengan dukungan aplikasi Barista Android APPS pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan sampel sebanyak 33 siswa kelas 8E di MTs Negeri 7 Malang. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi selama kegiatan pembelajaran berlangsung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh nilai profil pelajar Pancasila dapat diimplementasikan dengan baik oleh peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran. Implementasi nilai-nilai tersebut terlihat dari interaksi siswa, penyelesaian tugas, dan partisipasi aktif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran yang dikombinasikan dengan permainan dan penggunaan teknologi. Penelitian ini berkontribusi terhadap pemahaman tentang penerapan nilai-nilai Pancasila, keterampilan emosional dan sosial dalam konteks pendidikan, khususnya dalam pembelajaran matematika yang interaktif dan inovatif. Penerapan permainan Truth or Dare dengan Barista Android APPS dalam pembelajaran matematika terbukti efektif sebesar 76% mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai Profil Pelajar Pancasila, membentuk karakter siswa, dan meningkatkan pengalaman belajar yang interaktif dan bermakna.

Abstract

Pasuruan Regency is one of the regions in East Java which has a lot of potential in the industrial, trade, education, economic, tourism, and agricultural sectors, besides that, Pasuruan Regency is also famous for its many Islamic boarding schools. One of the Islamic boarding schools that is in the process of pioneering and developing is the Darul Hidayah Islamic Boarding School in Tawangrejo Village, Pandaan District, Pasuruan Regency. In addition to studying religious knowledge, students in Islamic boarding schools are also trained for other activities, including entrepreneurship programs, through several activities including cultivating herbal plants, fishing, and animal husbandry. One of the problems in the Islamic boarding school development process is waste processing which cannot be done in an integrated manner. This community service activity focuses on integrated waste processing training activities with Maggot (Black Soldier Fly). The results of this activity, apart from aiming to ensure that organic waste can be managed well, can also develop the results of maggot cultivation into economically valuable products. This activity is carried out using the ABCD method by utilizing the assets owned by the Islamic boarding school. The activity was carried out in the form of simple training on Maggot cultivation. From the results of this training, students and the community around the Islamic boarding school understand the basics of maggot cultivation in integrated waste processing through a simple practicum in integrated organic waste processing with maggots.

Abstract

The lack of mathematics learning media used and the lack of students' understanding of the sequence and series material often result in students having difficulty solving problems in the material. In mathematics learning, students not only obtain cognitive values, but also affective values ​​that can support the implementation of the Independent Curriculum and the Pancasila Student Profile, one of which is the first dimension. This study aims to develop digital-based Islamic-integrated mathematics learning media that can make it easier for students to understand the material, namely in the form of learning videos developed using Powtoon on the sequence and series material for class X. This study is a Research and Development (RnD) study with the ADDIE development model consisting of 5 stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The data collection instruments in this study were in the form of field note sheets, validation sheets, and questionnaire sheets. The Islamic-integrated mathematics learning video obtained validation results from media experts of 85.71%, material experts of 85.42%, integration experts of 78.125%, and language experts of 85.71%. In addition, the percentage of practicality from teachers was 92%, from small group trials it was 83.75%, and from large group trials it was 78.63%. Based on the questionnaire given, students became more knowledgeable about sequences and series.

Abstract

This research aims to develop Nearpod-based mathematics learning media. The model used in this research is ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). This development research is motivated by the need for media that can answer learning challenges in the pandemic era. This product test was carried out at MTs Negeri Batu City involving 30 students in one class. The data collection technique used in this research is a questionnaire to determine students' responses to media readability. The data from this research is qualitative and quantitative. Qualitative data was obtained from criticism and suggestions from validators. Quantitative data was obtained from validation scores and readability questionnaires. The material expert validation results were 91.67%, which means it is very valid. Meanwhile, the media expert validation results were 94.73%. The media readability test value was 83.6% for the limited test, 83.6%, and 82.00% for the wide test.
