Abstract

This study aims to explain the results of Prezi's media development in learning to write short stories for XI grade high school students in Tangerang City in the digital era. The method in this research is a development research methodology with steps namely field observation, research planning and design, product development, product validation, product revision, field testing, revision of field trials, and implementation of learning media. Data collection techniques using tests and questionnaires. The research instrument was through questionnaires and tests. Data analysis techniques using data trend techniques. The validity test was carried out on 5 Prezi media experts and 5 short story material experts. The results showed that the Prezi media was feasible and effective to be implemented in the learning of the XI grade high school students 'short stories because the Prezi media was easy to make by the teacher, Prezi's appearance attracted students' attention more, the teacher could create learning media according to the teacher's creativity and was easily understood by students. Based on the results of the validation of the five Prezi media experts, an average of 85.2% was categorized as feasible. The validation of five learning experts to write short stories obtained an average score of 86.8% with a decent category. The results of the Prezi media trial on learning to write short stories obtained an average score of 78.6. The use of Prezi media products in learning to write short stories obtained an average score of 78 out of 30 students. The implementation of Prezi media products in learning to write short stories obtained an average score of 73 out of 30 students. The implementation of Prezi media products in learning to write short stories obtained an average score of 65.5 from 20 students.

Abstract

Keterampilan menulis puisi dianggap sebagai keterampilan paling sulit. Oleh karena, pengarang harus memadaptkan bahasa dalam menulis puisi. Media sosial dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran menulis puisi. Melalui media sosial, siswa dapat meningkatkan imajinasi dan inovasinya dalam mencipatakan puisi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas media sosial dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis puisi siswa siswa kelas X SMA Muhammadiyah 4 Kota Tangerang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif analisis. Penelitian ini digunakan pada siswa kelas X SMAN Muhammadiyah 4 Kota Tangerang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes dan angket. Hasil penelitian yaitu rata-rata hasil pretest menulis puisi di SMA Muhammadiyah 4 Kota Tangerang melalui media sosial yaitu 69,3 dan postets 77,6. Hasil perhitungan angket guru yaitu 92% dan siswa 88% maka dikategorikan sangat efektif.Kata Kunci      : Media Sosial, Menulis Puisi

Abstract

ABSTRACT: Teenage stories are the arrows spread of consumerism. Through short stories can be described teen’s consumptive behavior is a part of modernization. The purpose of this study is to describe and explain the behavior of consumptive teenagers depicted in the collection of short stories Cerita Cinta Indonesia: 45 Terpilih.The research method used is descriptive-interpretative method that describes and interpret data related to consumer culture. The result of research in this is consumer culture which developed in adolescence related with some aspect that is fashion, transportation, food, clothing and activity related to consumer culture like party, cinema and hang out.Key word: consumptive culture, short storyABSTRAK: Cerita remaja merupakan anak panah penyebaran konsumenisme.Melalui cerita pendek dapat digambarkan perilaku konsumtif remaja yang merupakan bagian dari modernisasi.Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan dan menggambarkan perilaku konsumtif remaja yang tergambar pada kumpulan cerita pendek “Cerita Cinta Indonesia: 45 Cerpen Terpilih”.Metode penelitian yang digunakan, yaitudengan metode deskriptifinterpretatif yang mendeskripsikan dan menginterpretasikan data yang berkaitan dengan budaya konsumen.Hasil penelitian dalam penelitian ini, yaitu udaya konsumen yang berkembang pada remaja berkaitan dengan beberapa aspek, yaitu fashion, alat transportasi, pangan, sandang dan kegiatan yang berkaitan dengan budaya konsumen misalnya: pesta, nonton bioskop dan nongkrong.Kata Kunci: budaya konsumen, Cerpen

Abstract

Deixis is a pragmatic study that examines the relationship between the structure of language and the environment in which the language is used. The phenomenon of deixis or use is most often seen in everyday conversation in the form of verbal language. Deixis is also found in the conversation of characters or figures in literary works such as films. The study entitled "Deixis in the Film Bumi dan Manusia by Hanung Bramantyo" examines the use of deixis in the film directed by Hanung Bramantyo with the title "Earth and Man". Persona, time, place, social, and discourse deixis are the five categories of deixis studied in this study. Researchers used analytical methods in the form of pragmatics with qualitative techniques to analyze the data that had been collected. The data used in this study include fragments of speech from film conversations, both words and phrases containing deixis, including personal deixis, time deixis, location deixis, social deixis, and discourse deixis. Watching movies, capturing data, recognizing, categorizing, analyzing, formulating, and presenting data are the stages of analyzing in this research. Data analysis illustrates that the film directed by Hanung Bramantyo with the title "Bumi dan Manusia" has a deixis in the form of person, time, place, social, and discourse.

Abstract

This research reviews punctuation errors that are not in accordance with the rules that have been determined based on grammatical standards. Similar errors are still found in opinion texts in the 2025 edition of the cnbcindonesia.com website, especially related to the use of punctuation marks. This study aims to analyze punctuation errors in a collection of opinion texts in the 2025 edition of the cnbcindonesia.com website. Another purpose of this research is as a reading literacy material for students to improve their understanding of punctuation errors. In this research, the author uses a qualitative descriptive methodological approach and a syntactic approach as a theoretical approach. The author obtained the study data by using the analysis technique of listening to readings from the collection of opinions as related references and recording information that can be used as data. The analysis is done by reading and marking errors in the news, then grouped to draw conclusions. This reason underlies the author in using listening and recording techniques in this research. The method in analyzing the data used by the author is the agih method. The author analyzes the text by identifying sentences that deviate from syntax rules and evaluating their feasibility as good and correct opinion texts. The analysis found several syntax errors in the form of punctuation errors that can affect the meaning or delivery of the message. In addition, this opinion text is worthy of being a student reading material to improve understanding because the errors are still tolerable and the structure is good.

Abstract

Pragmatics is one of the branches of semiotics, alongside semantics and syntax, that examines the relationship between signs and their usage. Speech acts, or activities involving a speaker and a listener, are divided into five types: representative, commissive, directive, expressive, and declarative speech acts. This study primarily focuses on one of these types—representative speech acts. The researcher collected health-related videos tagged #suaratirta from the YouTube channel Tirta PengPengPeng using the Listen, Free, Engage, Speak (SBLC) method along with note-taking techniques. The data were then analyzed using matching and distributional techniques. The findings reveal 93 instances of representative speech acts, detailed as follows: a) 13 declarative statements, b) 27 explanatory statements, c) 42 informative statements, d) 9 warning statements, and e) 2 speculative statements. Additionally, 19 instances of impositive speech acts were identified, categorized as follows: a) 5 directive statements, b) 7 advisory statements, c) 2 prohibitive statements, and d) 5 interrogative statements.
