Abstract

Each individual is faced with the problem of life which demands an ability to make decisions. Decision-making ability of the individual to one another is not the same. This difference is due to the factors that influence decision-making, both internal factors, and external factors. The analysis of the tendency of decision-making ability of Javanese women is very interesting to do. The purpose of analysis in order to obtain a clear picture of the tendency of Javanese women in decision-making on issues that it faces life every day. In general, people use the four processes of different decision-making ability, the strategy of independent decision making, logical, hesitated, and impulsive. The results obtained by analysis of Java that women tend to make decisions carefully, do not rush, take more time to think, and need others to seek reinforcement. This is due to the belief of Javanese women, the decision may affect the lives of themselves and others. Therefore, the decision-making process is emphasized. The process through which relies on decision-making style. Javanese women tend to have a logical decision-making strategy.

Abstract

Abstract: Students with a physical disability with high self-understanding will form an attitude of acceptance of themselves, but it will also foster an attitude of psychosocial independence. The existence of self-acceptance from students with disabilities will promote good psychosocial independence, so it is necessary to strengthen the student with disabilities to accept their current conditions. This study aimed to determine whether or not there is a correlation between self-acceptance and psychosocial independence of students with disabilities in special schools in Yogyakarta. This research used a correlational design. The subjects of this study were students with disabilities who attended several special schools in Yogyakarta, with a total sample of 30 students with disabilities. The research instrument is a psychological scale of self-acceptance and psychosocial independence. The data analysis method used a non-parametric statistical analysis technique, the Spearman Rank Test. This method is used because one data is not normally distributed. The results of this study can be concluded that there is a correlation between self-acceptance and psychosocial independence of special school students with disabilities in Yogyakarta. Abstrak: Siswa penyandang disabilitas fisik yang memiliki pemahaman diri tinggi akan membentuk sikap penerimaan diri, juga sikap kemandirian psikososial. Adanya penerimaan diri dari siswa penyandang disabilitas akan menumbuhkan kemandirian psikososial yang baik, sehingga perlu adanya penguatan pada siswa penyandang disabilitas untuk dapat menerima kondisinya saat ini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya hubungan antara penerimaan diri dengan kemandirian psikososial siswa penyandang disabilitas di SLB di Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain korelasional. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa penyandang disabilitas yang bersekolah di beberapa SLB di Yogyakarta dengan jumlah sampel 30 siswa penyandang disabilitas yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa skala psikologis penerimaan diri dan kemandirian psikososial. Metode analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis statistik non parametrik yaitu Uji Rank Spearman. Metode ini digunakan karena ada satu data yang tidak berdistribusi normal. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkab bahwa ada hubungan antara penerimaan diri dengan kemandirian psikososial siswa penyandang disabilitas di SLB di Yogyakarta.

Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of developing guidance and counseling media in the form of a ludo game with emotional themes. The research methods used in this study were Research and Development (R&D). The 4-D model development concept, which consists of four stages of development such as Define, Design, Development, and Dissemination. The participants in this study were 8 students from class XI of SMAN 1 Baros who had low levels of emotional intelligence. Data collection techniques were performed using a questionnaire instrument. The feasibility test of the developed product obtained a score of 94% in the material feasibility test, 81% in the language feasibility test, and 91.66% in the media expert feasibility test, resulting in an average score of 91% or falling into the “Highly Appropriate” category. Furthermore, based on the students' responses to the game media, the score was 84%, which falls into the “excellent” category. This indicates that the development of the emotional Ludo game media product can be implemented for users. The components of the product package include a board game, four versions of game cards, a game guidebook, dice, a dice shaker, game pieces, and game packaging.

Abstract

Seniors need to exercise to stay healthy and fit. This community service program aims to encourage seniors to practice a series of healthy exercises that are easy for them to implement in their daily activities and also to measure their body composition, so that they are more enthusiastic about improving their physical wellness. This healthy exercise training for seniors focuses on the composition of their muscles, fat, and bones. Body composition measurements use a Smart BMI Scale that can measure body weight, body fat, water content, muscle mass, physical rating, calorie needs, cell age, bone density, abdominal fat, fat content, bone mass, and posture. The results showed that most seniors had difficulty following the trainer's instructions during healthy exercises due to stiff bodies and a lack of structured movements. In addition, some seniors' body composition was less than ideal. This exercise made seniors happier and more energetic. Through these two activities, seniors committed to implementing light exercise in their daily lives and maintaining body composition by paying attention to diet, regulating mindsets, and improving movement patterns.
