Abstract

Al-Khaibar minimarket’s one of development results of cash waqf linked social entrepreneur from productive waqf management inpatient rooms of the Very Important Person (VIP) class at Hospital of UNISMA Malang. The purpose of this study was to determine management and development of productive waqf through Al-Khaibar minimarket business at the UNISMA foundation and distribution of benefits at productive waqf management through Al-Khaibar minimarket business at the UNISMA foundation. The research method used descriptive qualitative using a sociological and empirical approach. Researcher took object of research at State Islamic University of Malang (UNISMA) related to management of cash waqf linked social entrepreneurs. The results of this study prove that productive waqf management used in accordance with George R Terry’s theory namely planning, organizing, actuating and controlling. While distribution of benefits at productive waqf management is from net profits, 20%-30% is distributed to mauquf ‘alaih, 10% for nadzir in accordance with Law of Waqf No. 41 of 2004 paragraph 12 and 60%-70% for development of waqf. Abstrak: Minimarket Al-Khaibar adalah salah satu hasil pengembangan cash waqf linked social entrepreneur dari ruang rawat inap kelas VIP di Rumah Sakit UNISMA Malang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan manajemen pengelolaan dan pengembangan wakaf produktif melalui bisnis minimarket Al-Khaibar di Yayasan UNISMA serta distribusi hasil manfaat wakaf produktif melalui bisnis minimarket Al-Khaibar di Yayasan UNISMA. Metode penelitian menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan sosiologis dan empiris. Peneliti mengambil objek penelitian di Universitas Islam Malang (UNISMA) terkait cash waqf linked social entrepreneur. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa manajemen pengelolaan wakaf produktif yang digunakan sesuai dengan teori George R Terry yaitu planning, organizing, actuating dan controlling. Sementara distribusi hasil manfaat wakaf produktif adalah dari laba bersih, 20%-30% didistribusikan ke mauquf ‘alaih, 10% untuk nadzir yang sesuai dengan UU Wakaf No. 41 Tahun 2004 Pasal 12 dan 60%-70% untuk pengembangan wakaf.

Abstract

The ethics of Islamic communication is a guide to acting on the basis of morality which is closely related to the Qur'an and the Hadith of the Prophet. The ethics of Islamic communication is important and interesting to study because it is a form of prevention against the negative effects of the use of social media. Based on the above context, the purpose of this study is to answer the question of how the motives of netizens social actions in the implementation of Islamic communication ethics on social media of Twitter. The theory used in this study is Max Weber's theory of social action which is divided into four categories, namely traditional rational action, instrumental rational action, effective rational action, and value oriented rational action. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The motives of netizens social actions in the implementation of Islamic communication ethics on social media of Twitter are very diverse including Qawlan Sadidan (correct words), Qawlan Baligha (effective and well targeted), Qawlan Karima (noble words), Qawlan Ma'rufan (good words) or appropriate), Qawlan Layyina (gentle), and Qawlan Maisura (easily accepted).

Abstract

This research discusses the meaning of the cultural values of Nahdlatul Ulama in the review of organizational culture. The purpose of this research is to describe, explain and find out the meaning of the cultural values of Nahdlatul Ulama in terms of organizational culture theory. This research uses qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach. The data collection techniques used were observation and documentation. The results of observations and documents that have been collected are then analyzed, compared and combined to form a systematic, coherent and complete study result. In this study, the results show that the meaning of the cultural values of Nahdlatul Ulama in the review of organizational culture is in accordance with the vision, mission and goals of the organization. The cultural values developed are known as al-Mabadi al-Khamsah which includes assidqu, al-amanah wal wafa'bil 'ahdi, al-'adalah, at-ta'awun and al-istiqamah. These cultural values are also manifested through traditions and amaliyah such as amar ma'ruf nahi munkar, aqiqah, diba'an, haul, istighosah, jam'iyahan, manakib, maulid Nabi, qunut, tahlil, tingkepan and grave pilgrimage. With the organizational culture and cultural values in it, it will be easier for an organization to achieve the vision, mission and goals aspired by its members, administrators and founders of the organization.

Abstract

This research aimed to describe and identify the concept of Gus Dur's multicultural da’wah, the efforts and relevance to modern society. It used qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach. The data were collected through observation and documentation. The findings suggested three main concepts of Gus Dur's multicultural da'wah: Gus Dur's central values, his Islamic ideas, and his struggle for the indigenization of Islam. The da'wah covered three domains: cognitive, affective and psychomotor. The domains were then framed into various activities, such as lectures/speeches, writings, forums, and social actions. Besides, it affirmed the need of wisdom that da'wah is relevant to the conditions of modern society. The relevance of da’wah can lead to the effective and efficient interaction process.Penelitian ini membahas mengenai dakwah multikultural Gus Dur dan relevansinya bagi masyarakat modern. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan, dan mengenali konsep dakwah multikultural Gus Dur, upaya-upaya dakwah multikultural Gus Dur dan relevansinya bagi masyarakat modern. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah obeservasi dan dokumentasi. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa dakwah multikultural Gus Dur mengacu pada tiga konsep utama, yakni nilai-nilai utama, gagasan keislaman, dan perjuangan pribumisasi Islam Gus Dur. Upaya-upaya dakwah multikultural Gus Dur ini mencakup tiga ranah, yakni ranah kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik. Upaya-upaya melalui tiga ranah tersebut kemudian dibingkai dalam berbagai kegiatan seperti ceramah/pidato, menulis, forum diskusi, dan aksi-aksi sosial. Dengan demikian, dibutuhkan kearifan agar dakwah relevan dengan kondisi masyarakat modern, sehingga pelaku dan penerima dakwah tersebut bisa memberi makna yang sama. Dalam hal ini, apa yang diidentifikasi oleh masyarakat modern bisa memasuki proses interaksi yang efektif dan efisien.

Abstract

A career woman has a good career development or career level in her work, it will have a contribution in work-life balance, and work-life balance is also one of the factors supporting the success of Muslimah’s entrepreneurs. The purpose of this study was to know and have a clear picture of the contribution of career levels in Muslimah’s entrepreneurs and the contribution of work-life balance in Muslimah’s entrepreneurs. This research method uses descriptive qualitative with a field research approach. Field research is research that emphasizes the practice in the field. In this study the author focuses on the results of data collection obtained directly from the informants and the specified sources. The results of this study prove that career level with work-life balance in Muslimah's entrepreneur shows results that are supportive meaning that the higher the career path the higher the work-life balance in Muslimah's entrepreneur. Vice versa, the lower the career path, the lower the work-life balance of Muslimah’s entrepreneurs. Supporting factors at the career level are education, guide and sponsorship, loyalty to business organizations as well as social flexibility and relationships between employee, assessment and evaluation and achievement or appreciation at work. While the supporting factors in work-life balance are working hours, personality characteristics, emotional intelligence and psychological well-being.

Abstract

Islamic da’wah subjects is person who conveys, teaches and practices Islamic teachings. It’s very important and interesting to study and learn more deeply. It can understand and deepen Islamic teachings are expected to be able to minimize message of preaching that isn’t in accordance with Islamic teachings. Based on context, the purpose of this study is to answer the question of how Islamic da’wah subjects in perspective of the Qur’an. This study uses qualitative research methods using descriptive analytical. To be able to study this phenomenon in detail, researchers quote of the Qur'an verses that allude to issue of Islamic da'wah. To be able to understand these verses, researcher also studies harmonious interpretations including of al-Jalalain interpretations, al-Nukat wa al-Uyun interpretations, al-Muyassar interpretations, Shaykh Abdurrahman interpretations, Ibnu Katsir interpretations, Anwar al-Tanzil wa Asrar al Ta'wil interpretations, al-Misbah interpretations, Madarik al-Tanzil wa Haqoiq at-Ta'wil interpretations, and Religion Ministry interpretations. Based on perspective of the Qur'an, the results obtained that Islamic da'wah subjects is perpetrators of da'wah as the heirs of the prophets who carry out mission of broadcasting Islamic teachings, inviting acts of ma'ruf and preventing acts of munkar. Besides that, what is said or delivered Islamic da'wah subjects must be conveyed from attitudes and actions. Therefore, before they plunge into people to preaching, it’s better to understand and study Islamic teachings well. Keywords: Da'wah subjects, Da'i, al-Qur'an.

Abstract

This study discusses the da’wah communication planning strategy of the Peneleh Mosque in Surabaya. The purpose of this research is to describe, explain, and know the strategy of communication planning for the da'wah communication of the Peneleh Mosque in Surabaya and to describe, explain, and know the strategy for the communication planning of the Peneleh Mosque in Surabaya in a review of Talcott Parsons' functional structural theory. This research uses qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The data that has been collected are then analyzed, compared, and combined to form a systematic, coherent and complete study result. In this research, it is found that; (1) In the communication planning strategy of the Peneleh Mosque in Surabaya, it takes the subject of preaching from outside, the message design continues the walisongo method, the media used is face-to-face, and the determination of the audience is the surrounding community. (2) In a review of Talcott Parsons' functional structural theory, the strategy for the communication planning of the Peneleh Mosque in Surabaya includes adaptation to the surrounding environmental conditions, achieving the goal of the message content of ritual and social piety, integration between the community, the mosque as a place of worship, and the tahfidz Islamic boarding school. Next, in maintaining the pattern, always carry out active and intensive communication with all existing structures and functions in the Peneleh Mosque area of Surabaya. Thus, it is hoped that the process of da'wah communication can be established effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

This research discusses character education in the Middle School Plus Ar-Rahmat Bojonegoro. There are two issues to be discussed, how the character education process through Islamic Boarding School and how the role of each school member in character education through Islamic Boarding School. This research uses qualitative methods with descriptive analysis through observation, interview and documentation. The research showed; (1) the process of character education from within the classroom adopts the values of character education from the Ministry of Education and Culture. From outside the classroom, students are provided with religious values, good social environment, instilling disciplined and independent values, maximizing communication among students, caring for friday activities, helping fellow students, and establishing friendships. (2) the role of each school member in character education consists of; the principal acts as a role model, social control, and mobilizer. The curriculum has the role of integrating religious science and general science. The chaplain/teacher acts as a companion and an example. And students play a role in the success of character education by actively participating and raising awareness. Islamic Boarding School is present as a solution to the many new cultures that enter the era of digitalization.

Abstract

Akal merupakan suatu potensi rohani yang terdapat dalam diri manusia. Akal memiliki banyak daya di antaranya daya berpikir, daya berkreasi, daya imajinasi, dan daya fantasi. Akal dan implikasinya dalam mencapai tujuan pendidikan Islam ini sangat penting dan menarik untuk dikaji dan diteliti lebih mendalam. Dengan memaksimalkan potensi akal diharapkan dapat membentuk manusia yang sempurna (insan kamil) sesuai dengan tujuan pendidikan Islam. Berdasarkan konteks ini, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjawab pertanyaan bagaimana implikasi akal dan relevansinya dalam mencapai tujuan pendidikan Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif analitis. Untuk dapat mengkaji fenomena ini dengan detail maka peneliti menggunakan studi kepustakaan yang menyinggung urgensi akal dan relevansinya dalam tujuan pendidikan Islam. Untuk dapat memahami keterkaitan akal dan pendidikan Islam dengan baik, peneliti juga mengkaji dokumen-dokumen yang selaras dengan tema yang dikaji. Berdasarkan telaah pustaka yang dilakukan oleh peneliti tersebut diperoleh hasil bahwa akal merupakan alat utama bagi manusia untuk memahami, berpikir, dan merenungi segala hal guna mendapat pemahaman maupun pengetahuan-pengetahuan mengenai sesuatu. Untuk mewujudkan manusia yang sempurna (insan kamil) sebagai tujuan pendidikan Islam, seseorang harus mendayagunakan akal secara maksimal, dengan selalu mengambil hikmah di balik segala sesuatu, mengingat manusia tidak mampu diberikan pelajaran tanpa ia mendayagunakan akalnya secara optimal.

Abstract

The purposes of this study was to analyze the consumption behavior patterns of the Postgraduate Students of UINSA Islamic Economics study program as consumers and supporting factors in purchasing halal culinary food products. The research method used was a qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach, this research observes 10 informants of the Postgraduate Students of Islamic Economics Study Program UINSA as fast food consumers KFC Ahmad Yani Surabaya. The results of this study prove that all informants have knowledge of the concepts of consumer behavior and halal products in Indonesia, especially in Surabaya. The students have also applied the pattern of Islamic consumption behavior that is tauhid, fairness, free will, responsibility and halal as well as supporting factors including cultural, social, personal and psychological factors. Knowledge about other supporting factors should be utilized by other consumers for the sustainability and development of perceptions about halal culinary fast food in Surabaya
