Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas pupuk mikroba rumpun bambu pada berbagai dosis terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil bawang merah (Allium ascalonicum L.). Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan  6 taraf perlakuan yaitu 0 g/polybag (tanpa pemberian pupuk), 25 g/polybag, 50 g/polybag, 75 g/polybag,100 g/polybag, dan 125 g/polybag.  Setiap perlakuan diulang sebanyak 3 kali sehingga terdapat 18 unit percobaan, masing-masing perlakuan terdiri atas 3 unit tanaman, sehingga semuanya 54 unit percobaan. Data hasil pengamatan dianalisis dengan sidik ragam (Uji-F), apabila hasil analisis ragam menunjukan perbedaan nyata maka dilakukan uji lanjut Beda Nyata Jujur (BNJ) pada taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berbagai dosis pupuk mikroba berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap seluruh komponen pertumbuhan dan hasil bawang merah Dosis 75 g/polybag pupuk mikroba rumpun bambu memberikan pertumbuhan dan hasil yang terbaik terhadap tinggi tanaman (42,37 cm), jumlah daun (22 helai), jumlah umbi (8,67 umbi), diameter umbi (2,50 cm), berat umbi (66,40 g), kadar air (86,07%), dan koloni bakteri (28,33 cfu/ mol g) pada bawang merah.

Abstract

This research consisted of two stages, the first aimed to determine the best type of liquid organic fertilizer which can be used in the fertilization of tomato plants andthe second aimed to determine the best concentration of liquid organic fertilizer which can be applied to tomato plants. This research purpose was to investigate the response of tomato plant (Solanum licopersicum Mill.) as shown byitsyield and quality.  This research used a Randomized Completely Block design in which seventreatmentsof different concentrations and two types of liquid organic fertilizers were applied.  The treatments significantly affected the number of tomato fruits but not on their weight and diameter as well as the content of C vitamin. Best yield and quality of the tomatoes was found in the gremont liquid organic fertilizer at the concentration of 2.4 ml/80 ml water.Keywords: Liquid organic fertilizer, Quality and Yield of tomato.

Abstract

The aim is  to determine the effect of moringa seeds as coagulant harvested at various grow altitudes on water quality of the river and to get the best moringa seeds as coagulant that gives the best effect on the quality of palu river water. This study uses a completely randomized design (CRD) pattern of the factors that altitude grow consisting of 4 levels of elevation which is 36, 177, 340 and 639 m above sea level. Each treatment was repeated 4 times to obtain 16 experimental units. The data were analyzed statistically using variant analysis (ANOVA). If the treatment shows the significant effect or very significant continued with Test Honestly Significant Difference (HSD) at level 5 or 1 percent. The results showed that the coagulant moringa seeds were harvested at various grow altitudes showed very sgnificant effect on the quality of river water (pH, electrical conductivity, turbidity and total dissolved solids). Coagulant Moringa seeds of altitude grow 36 m above sea level provides the highest percentage increase of the quality of river water that lowers the pH of river water by 8.24, electrical conductivity 50.40%, turbidity 58.91% and 47.39% total dissolved solids

Abstract

The aim of this experiment is to study the morphology and anatomy of moringa plant at various height grow place in area of Palu, Sigi and Palolo. This  research used the method survey and direct measurement. First activity was to determine the research location. Determination of research location was by purpose sampling, that is in height of ± 150; ± 300; ± 450; and > 451 masl, every altitude place was selected by random as much as 7 moringa crop, so that as a whole moringa crop  in requiring as much 28 tree. Individual difference of observed tree of moringa based on the morphology and leaf anatomy, to conclude the difference of morphology and antomi, all the data gathered were analysed by calculating the distance of Euclid constructively program the SYSTAT 8.0. Research result indicated that there are difference of morphology and anatomy of leaf of moringa plant (Moringa oleifera L.) at different height place. Morphology character differentiating for example leaf length, wide of leaf, anatomy character that is closeness stomata, number of epidermis, and make an index to stomata.

Abstract

This research consisted of two stages, the first stage aimed to determine the best type of liquid organic fertilizer which can be used in fertilizing of tomato plants. The second stages aimed to determine the best concentration of liquid organic fertilizer which can be applied to tomato plants. This research aimed to investigate the responses of tomato plant (Solanum licopersicum Mill.) in terms of its production and quality with the addition of two types of liquid organic fertilizers at different concentrations. This research used a Randomized Completely Block design (RAB) with seven treatments replicated four times.  The largest tomato fruit production was found in the organic fertilizer treatment of gremont at concentration of 2.4 ml / 80 ml water, whereas the effect on the quality of the tomato such as average tomato fruit diameter and Vitamin C content was not significant.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mempelajari respon pertumbuhan dan hasil ubi banggai jenis bakutuu pada berbagai kombinasi pemberian pupuk anorganik,organik dengan mulsa jerami padi.penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) dengan tujuh perlakuan, yang terdiri dari 3 kelompok berdasarkan kemiringan tanah sehingga terdapat 21 unit percobaan. Hasil pengamatan terhadap komponen pertumbuhan terdiri dari tinggi tanaman dan jumlah tunas menunjukan pengaruh yang signifikan, Dengan rata-rata tinggi tanaman tertinggi adalah 165,67 cm pada umur 130 HST, pada jumlah tunas rata-rata tertinggi adalah 2,02 tunas/unit percobaan pada umur 130 HST. Sedangkan terhadap komponen hasil panen tidak menunjukan pengaruh yang signifikan.
