Abstract

The rice fields in Bonto Rannu Village, Kajang District, Bulukumba Regency are dominated by rainfed rice fields. This species has limitations in the dry season because irrigation/agricultural irrigation is completely dependent on rainwater. Therefore, it is necessary to identify alternative irrigation sources for the sustainability of farmers' farming activities in Bonto Rannu Village. This study aims to analyze the quantity of groundwater wells by testing in the form of a pump test (pumping test) with the step draw down method. The optimum discharge (Qopt) of well 1 is 0.01876 m3/s or 67.53 m3/hour with an optimum Sw of 2.891 m. This shows that groundwater in well 1 can be pumped at 67.53 m3/hour with a decrease in water level of 2.891 m with the pump condition still technically safe. As for well 2, the optimum discharge (Qopt) is 0.00318 m3/s or 11.45 m3/hour with an optimum Sw of 2.100 m. These data indicate that there are limited groundwater reserves.

Abstract

Drought usually occurs, especially during the dry season in Bontoramba, Jeneponto Regency, South Sulawesi. Therefore, it is necessary to study the potential of groundwater to meet the water needs of the Bontoramba community during the dry season. A way to identify groundwater is by using the resistivity method. This method is applied with Schlumberger configuration that gives good results vertically. The purpose of this study was to identify the potential for groundwater both in position and depth based on the results of the interpretation of measurements using the resistivity method of the Schlumberger configuration. This research is experimental research with a descriptive method. Data were processed, analyzed, and interpreted using Res2dinv. Through the results of this interpretation, modeling of the distribution of the aquifer layer in the soil is then carried out which is projected as groundwater. The results showed that the groundwater layer in path 1 and path 2 were on average at a depth of 10-30 m, path 3 and path 4 at a depth more than 30 m from the ground surface.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pra eksperimen yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif melalui pembelajaran model inkuiri terbimbing dengan LKPD berbasis praktikum pada peserta didik kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Galesong Utara tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan one group pre-test and post-test design. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas VII.B dengan jumlah peserta didik 32 orang. Untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik dapat dilihat perbandingan perolehan skor pre-test dan post-test. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa skor rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik meningkat dari 24,25 pada pretest menjadi 35,03 pada saat posttest. Peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa setelah diajar melalui model inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan LKPD berbasis praktikum sebesar 0,4 dalam kategori sedang. Hasil analisis inferensial menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik kelas SMP Negeri 1 Galesong Utara setelah diterapkan pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dengan LKPD berbasis praktikum meningkat secara signifikan. Abstract

This service focuses on research on designing educational media based on Android applications, one of the alternative media that is developing in this era of information openness and in accordance with the increasing circulation of smartphones. The implementation of Community Service aims to educate subject teachers, especially at SMK Muhammadiyah Bungoro, in making or designing Android-based learning media. This service activity is carried out through several stages consisting of stages 1) determining the needs of partners which include observation, grouping, and Determining the Implementation of Activities, Stage 2) education and Assistance and Stage 3) Evaluation. With this service activity, teachers become more technologically literate, add variety to learning, and create innovative learning and attract students' interest in learning. The use of technology in learning will make it easier for teachers to convey material because now technology is no longer new to students, they are already familiar and proficient in using technology. Through this service activity the participants were able to design android-based learning media so that their pedagogical abilities increased.

Abstract

Abstract: Argument-Driven Inquiry (ADI) is a learning model that can train scientific argumentation skills. The ADI model is applied to the topic “Heat” in the Matter and Energy course. The aim of this study is to determine the development of pre-service teachers’ scientific argumentation skills after implementing the ADI model. This research is a quasi-experimental with The Pretest-Posttest Nonequivalent Group Design. Data was collected through essay test of scientific argumentation skills. Findings indicated a significantly higher mean normalized gain of students’ scientific argumentation skills in Experimental Group who were instructed using ADI compared to students in Control Group who received traditional instruction. The mean normalized gain of scientific argumentation skills of students in Experimental Group is 0,69 (medium-level) and in Control Group is 0,38 (medium-level). Based on hypothesis testing, it shows that the increase in scientific argumentation skills of students who have learned using the ADI model is significantly higher than who have learned using guided inquiry model. Thus, it can be concluded that learning using the ADI model can further enchance students' scientific argumentation abilities.

Abstract

Abstrak. Kegiatan pengabdian ini berhulu pada pemanfaatan sumber daya peternak dan berhilir pada peningkatan pengetahuan peternak terkait budidaya ternak ayam kampung. Pemanfaatan sumber daya dapat menjadi landasan dalam melaksanakan budidaya ayam kampung yang baik dan menguntungkan. Mitra kegiatan pengabdian adalah Gabungan Kelompok Tani (GAPOKTAN) Harapan Kita Kabupaten Takalar. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan penyuluhan terkait cara membuat kandang semi intensif yang tepat dengan memanfaatkan sistem kandang bertingkat yang dihubungkan dengan umbaran. Selain itu, peternak juga diperkenalkan cara mengolah ransum bermutu tinggi, serta pemeliharaan ayam kampung yang tepat termasuk pemberian vitamin dan vaksin. Metode pengabdian yang dilakukan melalui penyuluhan dengan melalui tiga tahapan yaitu tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Kegiatan pengabdian diawali dengan memberikan pretes, selanjutnya narasumber memberikan penyuluhan kepada peserta, dan terakhir memberikan posttes. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah adanya peningkatan pengetahuan peternak sehingga berdampak pada perbaikan produktivitas ayam kampung yang bermuara pada peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Kegiatan ini sangat membantu peternak dalam memahami budidaya ternak ayam kampung. Kata kunci: budidaya, ayam kampung, pakan ayam, bahan baku lokal, kandang semi intensif

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran menggunakan Canva yang valid dan untuk mengetahui respon mahasiswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dengan menggunakan model pengembangan 4-D yang dikembangkan oleh S. Thiagarajan dengan 4 tahapan, yaitu: Tahap pendefenisian (Define), tahap perencanaan (Design), tahap pengembangan (Develop), tahap diseminasi (Disseminate). Subjek penelitiannya adalah mahasiswa Pendidikan Fisika Universitas Muslim Maros semester II tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Instrumen penelitian meliputi angket berupa lembar validasi dan lembar respon mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian diperoleh dari ahli materi 85%, ahli media 80% yang bearti memenuhi kriteria sangat valid. Hasil analisis angket respon mahasiswa didapatkan skor rata-rata sebesar 4,23 dengan persentase 84,6% berada pada kategori baik. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran menggunakan Canva yang dikembangkan pada materi kelistrikan sangat valid digunakan dan mendapatkan respon baik dari mahasiswa.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to describe the essence that occurs at each stage in the discrepancy evaluation model which consists of the Design, Installation, Process and Product stages related to the Blended Learning method in the modern spectacles course at the Muslim University of Maros. Based on the type of research used, this research is included in program evaluation research using the discrepancy evaluation model. The research sample consisted of 14 people plus 1 modern physics lecturer. Data collection was carried out using a mixed method with data collection instruments using, (1) interview guidelines, (2) questionnaires with a Likert scale model and (3) documentation. The data analysis technique used for qualitative data is data analysis using the Miles and Huberman model. This data analysis technique consists of data collection, data reduction and drawing conclusions. As for the quantitative data, the data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive analysis and the calculation of the coefficient of determination. The results showed that (1) there was no discrepancy in the design stage (2) there was a discrepancy in the installation stage of 0.04 (3) there was a discrepancy in the Process stage of 0.23 (4) there was a discrepancy in the Product stage of 0. 78. So that the Blended Learning lectures can be continued with suggestions for improvement, namely (1) Lecturers continue to carry out their obligations to carry out face-to-face lectures, (2) Require students to study material in Google Classroom, (3) Uploaded material has various forms.

Abstract

The development of increasingly advanced technology is a challenge for teachers, where the emergence of students' interest in games is very high so that it is not uncommon to find students prefer playing games compared to studying. So the purpose of this service is to provide training to teachers so they are able to design educational game-based learning media so that students can switch to the game. As for the method of implementing the activity, namely determining the topic or learning material to be used through tours provided by the teacher, providing the form or type of game to be made, making material cards and/or questions that support the application of the game media and the final stage is evaluating the extent to which trainees can design games. The community service activities that have been carried out are well received by the teachers and the teachers have been ableto design games according to their needs. Through this educational game application, teachers can utilize various creative elements such as pictures, videos, animations, and sounds. Teachers can use these elements to present learning material in a more interesting and fun way. This can help motivate students and make them more engaged in learning.

Abstract

The outreach activity on native chicken farming, incorporating the use of semi-intensive housing systems and locally sourced feed, was carried out to enhance the capacity of farmers in Bontomangape Village, Takalar Regency. This article focuses on examining participants’ enthusiasm and perceptions toward the appropriate technologies introduced. The extension methods used included material presentation, practical simulation, participatory discussion, and the distribution of evaluation and perception questionnaires. The results showed a high level of enthusiasm among participants, as reflected in full attendance, active engagement during sessions, and participation in hands-on practice. Overall, participants demonstrated strong enthusiasm and positive perceptions, as indicated by the questionnaire analysis: 90.6% strongly agreed that the outreach activity increased their enthusiasm, and 92.4% strongly agreed that the program elicited positive perceptions. These findings suggest that a participatory and context-based approach to agricultural extension can foster positive acceptance of farming innovations. Further follow-up in the form of mentoring and demonstration programs is needed to ensure sustainable technology adoption.
