Abstract

This study aims to determine the suitability of (1) context, (2) input, (3) process, and (4) product of Carakde class learning program carried out by Sahabat Indonesia Berbagi (SIGi Community) in Makassar Region based on predetermined success criteria. This research is an evaluation research with Context, Input, Process, Product (CIPP) approach model and uses quantitative research method. The population in this study is students of Carakde Class of 21 peoples. Sample in this study used purposive sampling. This research used analysis data, descriptive and inferensial statistic. The data analysis technique used statistic t-tes . After being analyzed using statistical formulas, it can be seen that student learning outcomes after the CIPP model evaluation applied. Besides, Context evaluation involves program objectives and program relevance to environmental needs. Input Evaluation encompasses environmental, instrumental, and raw input. This can be seen from  increase in the students' mean scores from pre-test and post-test results. Process evaluation covers the implementation of Carakde Class learning can be seen based on student learning outcomes. The mean value of the pre-test is 39, while the mean value of the post-test is 61.42.  From these calculations obtained thitung: 11.284 while ttable : 2,086 which means thitung > ttable. So that the alternative hypothesis Ha can be accepted and null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. This means that student learning outcomes after the CIPP model evaluation is applied. Furthermore, product evaluation comprises the program graduates and the achievement of program objectives.

Abstract

The development of e-modules aims to become an effective learning resource for students, especially in studying acid-base material at the vocational school level. This research aims to evaluate the validity and responses of students to e-modules on acid-base material created using the Flip Book application. The research method used is development research with the ADDIE model. Data was analyzed quantitatively descriptively. The object of the trial is limited to practical aspects, namely class XI students in the Industrial Pharmacy skills program. The research results show that the e-module developed using Flip Book has been validated by material experts, media experts, chemistry subject teachers and pharmaceutical expertise programs, and laboratory assistants, with a score of 95.17%, indicating a very good category and suitable for use in learning . The results of the e-module practicality test of 3.58 are included in the very good category.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the chemistry learning outcomes of grade XI students at SMK Jaya Negara Makassar by applying the Jigsaw-type cooperative learning model. This class action research (PTK) was conducted in two cycles, with the research subjects consisting of 20 students of class XI of SMK Jaya Negara Makassar. Each cycle consisted of four stages of activities, namely planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection in this study was conducted through observation, tests, and documentation. The data analysis technique used was quantitative analysis, including calculating learning outcome scores, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes. The average student score in cycle I was 69.75, while it increased to 86.15 in cycle II. In addition, the percentage of completeness of learning outcomes in cycle I reached 60%, and in cycle II increased to 100%, which showed perfect criteria. Based on this study's results, applying the Jigsaw-type cooperative learning method effectively improves student learning outcomes in chemistry subjects in class XI of SMK Jaya Negara. This research is expected to positively contribute to learning practices in schools and become a reference for further research on cooperative learning models in chemistry education.

Abstract

Dalam pendidikan, terutama dalam bidang sains, infografik berperan penting sebagai alat visualisasi untuk mempermudah siswa memahami konsep-konsep ilmiah yang kompleks. Pelatihan pembuatan infografik sains interaktif ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mahasiswa dalam memanfaatkan teknologi visual untuk menyajikan informasi ilmiah secara menarik dan mudah dipahami. Pelatihan menyusun infografis interaktif ini dirancang menggunakan metode blended learning, yaitu kombinasi antara pendekatan tatap muka dan pendekatan daring (online), yang memungkinkan mahasiswa mempelajari konsep secara teori dan praktik. Peserta dalam pelatihan ini yaitu mahasiswa IPA UNM sebanyak 45 orang. Pelatihan ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap infografis, terlihat dari lonjakan peserta dalam kategori Sangat Baik dari 11% menjadi 47% serta penurunan signifikan dalam kategori Kurang. Peserta juga menunjukkan peningkatan kompetensi teknis, seperti penggunaan perangkat lunak dan pemahaman elemen desain grafis dengan skor evaluasi rata-rata "Baik". Selain itu, pelatihan mendorong kepercayaan diri dan minat mahasiswa untuk terus mengembangkan keterampilan, disertai kesadaran tinggi akan manfaat infografik dalam mempermudah pembelajaran IPA.

Abstract

Di tahun 2024, proses pendidikan di Indonesia sudah dituntut untuk pengaplikasian IPTEK. Siklus air merupakan salahsatu materi pembelajaran Sekolah Dasar di semester genap. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media diorama berbasis Augmented Reality pada materi siklus air serta mengungkapkan tingkat validitas dan praktikalitas dari media tersebut. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and Development (RD). Model pengembangan dalam penelitian ini adalah model pengembangan Ploomp yang terdiri dari tiga tahap, yaitu penelitian awal (Preliminary research), pembentukan prototipe (Prototyping stage), dan tahap penilaian (Assesment phase).instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa angket validitas dan praktikalitas. Data penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan formula momen kappa. Uji validitas dilakukan oleh 3 orang dosen pendidikan IPA dan 2 orang guru di SD Impres Limbung. Uji praktikalitas dilakukan oleh 2 orang guru dan peserta didik SD Impres Limbung. Hasil analisis angket validitas, praktikalitas guru dan praktikalitas peserta didik berturut-turut adalah 0,85 0,87 dan 0,86 dengan kategori sangat tinggi. Data yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa media yang dikembangkan berupa diorama berbasis AR sudah valid dan praktis.

Abstract

This Community Service activity aims to enhance the competencies of teachers at SMP Negeri 6 Tinggimoncong through training in the development of digital teaching media. The training focuses on two main aspects: increasing knowledge about the types of digital teaching media that can be applied in teaching and improving teachers' skills in using Canva to design more creative teaching materials. The results of the training show a significant improvement in both aspects. Teachers' knowledge of digital teaching media increased from 30% to 80%, while their skills in using Canva increased from 25% to 75%. This improvement indicates that the training successfully broadened teachers' understanding of the use of technology in teaching and provided them with practical skills in designing engaging and effective teaching materials. With these new skills, teachers can enhance the quality of classroom instruction and create more interactive learning experiences for students. This training is also expected to offer solutions to the challenges faced by teachers in remote areas with limited access to technology and educational training.

Abstract

The outreach activity on native chicken farming, incorporating the use of semi-intensive housing systems and locally sourced feed, was carried out to enhance the capacity of farmers in Bontomangape Village, Takalar Regency. This article focuses on examining participants’ enthusiasm and perceptions toward the appropriate technologies introduced. The extension methods used included material presentation, practical simulation, participatory discussion, and the distribution of evaluation and perception questionnaires. The results showed a high level of enthusiasm among participants, as reflected in full attendance, active engagement during sessions, and participation in hands-on practice. Overall, participants demonstrated strong enthusiasm and positive perceptions, as indicated by the questionnaire analysis: 90.6% strongly agreed that the outreach activity increased their enthusiasm, and 92.4% strongly agreed that the program elicited positive perceptions. These findings suggest that a participatory and context-based approach to agricultural extension can foster positive acceptance of farming innovations. Further follow-up in the form of mentoring and demonstration programs is needed to ensure sustainable technology adoption.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a problem-based science practicum guide intended for grade VIII junior high school students in the first semester. The problem-based approach was chosen because it has proven effective in enhancing students' critical thinking and problem-solving skills. This research employed the 4D method, encompassing the stages of Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The findings indicate that the problem-based practicum guide developed meets the criteria for validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The validity score reached 4.2, indicating it meets the valid criteria, while the practicality score reached 4.6, classifying it as practical. Additionally, the guide’s effectiveness is demonstrated by a positive student response rate of 84.8%. The final product from this research is expected to serve as a reference for teachers in conducting problem-based science learning, thereby supporting improvements in the quality of science education in schools.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Critical thinking skills are an important aspect in learning Chemistry Physics, but are still low due to the dominance of the lecture method and limited contextual teaching materials. Therefore, it is necessary to innovate a learning module that is able to encourage active student involvement. This study aims to develop a case method-based Physical Chemistry learning module to improve students' critical thinking skills. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model which includes the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research subjects were students of the Makassar State University Science Education Study Program. The instruments used included validation sheets, student response questionnaires, critical thinking skills test questions, and observation sheets. The validation results showed that the module was declared very feasible, with an average score of 85% content and 88% media feasibility. The trial results showed an increase in the average pre-test score from 49.1% to 86.7% in the post-test, with a normalized gain value of 0.74 (high category). These findings indicate that the case method-based module is effective in improving students' critical thinking skills through a contextual and analytical learning approach. This module can be an alternative innovative teaching material for Physical Chemistry courses and other science courses. ABSTRAK Keterampilan berpikir kritis merupakan aspek penting dalam pembelajaran Kimia Fisika, namun masih rendah akibat dominasi metode ceramah dan terbatasnya bahan ajar kontekstual. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan Inovasi modul pembelajaran yang mampu mendorong keterlibatan aktif mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul pembelajaran Kimia Fisika berbasis case method guna meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang meliputi tahap Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan IPA Universitas Negeri Makassar. Instrumen yang digunakan mencakup lembar validasi, angket respon mahasiswa, soal tes keterampilan berpikir kritis, dan lembar observasi. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa modul dinyatakan sangat layak, dengan skor rata-rata kelayakan isi 85% dan media 88%. Hasil uji coba menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata skor pre-test dari 49,1% menjadi 86,7% pada post-test, dengan nilai normalized gain sebesar 0,74 (kategori tinggi). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa modul berbasis case method efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa melalui pendekatan pembelajaran yang kontekstual dan analitis. Modul ini dapat menjadi alternatif bahan ajar inovatif untuk mata kuliah Kimia Fisika dan mata kuliah sains lainnya.
